Coronavirus social distancing rules are being upheld in supermarkets across the country. Supermarkets have employed security and enforced one in one out policies.
Such rules include staying two metres apart.
Others include just one member of a house hold shopping at a time.
The Twitter user, who goes by Sophie, filmed her mother shopping in a Sainsbury’s.
The mum appeared to be taking the rules imposed by the supermarket very seriously.

Sainsbury’s has decreed a one person to a trolley rule in the shop.
This was no doubt in a bid to keep up social distancing rules.
Sophie wrote: “Sainsbury’s said One to a trolley so my mum won’t let me walk next to her Ahahah.” (sic)
The hysterical video shows Sophie following behind her mum as she shops in the biscuit aisle.

Sophie’s mum becomes more and more agitated with her, telling her daughter “go away”.
Sophie’s mum is taking the threat seriously. She is also wearing blue gloves to shop, responsibly.
Most parents will understand how it feels to be irritated by their children while shopping.
Some shoppers have complained after Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Aldi refuse to let children into supermarkets.

The government has said: “We are advising those who are at increased risk of severe illness from coronavirus (COVID-19) to be particularly stringent in following social distancing measures.”
This includes those who are over 70 or under 70 with underlying health conditions.
It added: “Social distancing measures are steps you can take to reduce social interaction between people.
“This will help reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19).”
