Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt returned to BBC Breakfast to share the latest news headlines. However, fans of the presenting duo couldn’t help but comment on Naga’s colourful attire and took to social media to share their divided views on the blue and green ensemble.
The BBC Breakfast presenter wore a royal blue, light blue and green patterned matching shirt and skirt, that was mistaken by some viewers as a dress.
Naga’s top was styled as a shirt on top matched with a full length A-line skirt.
She completed the look with black suede pointed court shoes.
Fans of the presenter were divided over her look with many taking to Twitter to praise her style.
Elsewhere in the show, Naga cut off Ian Blackford during a heated debate on the financial aid Scotland has received from the UK Government.
Munchetty said: “There’s a joint UK Scottish Government deal being announced which will see the Isles, Orkney, Shetland, Western Isles receive a £100 million cash boost.
“So that takes total investment in Scottish growth deals to more than £3.2 [billion]. This is a joint Scottish UK Government deal, is this an example of why the Union should remain?”
“No,” Blackford replied. “We have worked collectively to get that investment into our local communities. When you look at what the UK government is doing, they’re providing £1.5 [billion], we’re actually going over and above that.
