Neighbours fan-favourite couple Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) and husband Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) have been having some marriage trouble recently, after wondering whether they took things too fast in their relationship. They tied the knot in December last year, despite the never-ending hurdles in the run-up to their wedding day.
And ever since their threesome pact went south, it raised some questions about whether they are really meant to be together.
But after getting over their failed and very awkward night of passion, the pair started thinking about how they can change their unhappiness and discontent.
After a few long chats about their future, they come to a big decision next week that will change their family forever.
Seeing how happy Chloe’s brother Aaron (Matt Wilson) and his husband David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) are since they fostered teenager Emmett Donaldson (Ezra Justin), Chloe and Pierce became inspired to grow their own family.
After Emmett announces he wants to stay with Aaron and Dvid for good, Chloe is over the moon for the trio and she decides a child might be what her own family needs.
But Piece’s son Hendrix Greyson (Benny Turland) has other ideas.
Upon hearing their plans to foster another child, Hendrix is beyond unhappy.
As his father and Chloe arrange for an agency worker to come over to speak to them after getting her number from Aaron and David, Hendrix starts to plot.
Bringing a child into a relationship where they’re not 100 percent happy might not be the best idea for Chloe and Pierce, and in that sense Hendrix might be doing them a favour.
But could his meddling lead to further discontent that could affect his own life?
Elsewhere, Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) could also be about to have his heartbroken as evil Andrea Somers (Madeline West) plans to kidnap their son Hugo.
Fans will remember that tricked Toadie into sleeping with her by posing as his her presumed-dead wife and her own twin sister Dee Bliss (also Madeline West), and they conceived a child.
