Nicole Thea was a British dancer, social media influencer and YouTube star who has died along with her unborn son, Reign. A message appeared on her social media accounts today, July 12, for her 105,000 followers to see. The mum-to-be was a few weeks away from her due date when she died – she was 24 years old. The reason for her death has not yet been revealed, and it is unclear how she died.
A statement on her Instagram read: “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.
“Also Nicole pre-schedule a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.
“As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.
“Thank you her mum RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven. Xxx”
Nicole Thea: The YouTube star has died
Before her death, the star had been keeping fans up to date with her pregnancy on Instagram.
She posted a photo of herself in a bath of milk saying: “I forgot how to pose without a baby bump to be honest… I see why pregnant women hold their stomach, it’s natural now.”
Her most recent YouTube video was posted the hour before hear death was announced on Instagram.
The star has more than 73,000 followers on YouTube and she has posted plenty of content featuring herself and boyfriend Global Boga – real name Jeffery Frimpong – who is a street dancer.
Fans have paid tribute to the YouTuber, with one supporter saying: “Nicole, I would always love you, I’m so sorry baby, I’m so sorry.”
Another follower said: “I am so sorry, my heart is with Boga and Nicole’s family and friends.”
At the end of June she shared a stunning portrait of herself and her partner, with the message: “Can’t wait to meet you little man, soon to be three of us.”
She was nearing full term in her pregnancy and was due to give birth in the coming weeks.

On her Instagram account she described herself as a “mother to be” and a content creator.
She is the face of the brand Thea Kollection, and it has thousands of its own followers.
Fans have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the star, with one saying: “May God comfort her partner and her family and grant them with all the strength and peace.
“May Nicole Thea and beautiful baby Reign rest in wonderful peace, heaven has gained two beautiful angels.”
Another fan said: “Since yesterday my heart was heavy but after seeing that confirmation, I don’t know how to feel.
“This is a YouTuber who I watched all the time, RIP Nicole Thea and her baby Reign.”
In her most recent video, Nicole is seen climbing into a bath full of milk and the bath is filled with fruit in preparation for a photoshoot.
At the end of the video photos from the shoot had been shared, displaying her beautiful bump.
