NOW TV slashes cost of Sky TV channels and superfast broadband, but you'll need to be fast

Sky-owned NOW TV has slashed the price of its superfast fibre broadband and contract-free access to Sky channels for a limited time. Dubbed Super Fibre, this is the fastest broadband bundle offered by NOW TV, topping out at 63Mbps, which is the average broadband speed in the UK.

That speed should be more than enough to tackle a boxset binge-watch over the weekend. Netflix quotes 5Mbps to stream in 1080p high definition and NOW TV says that 2.5Mbps should be more than enough to enjoy Sky channels on your smartphone, Smart TV, or tablet. Of course, if you’ve got a busy household with a few people hoping to watch on-demand TV, video call friends or colleagues, and stream music – that bandwidth can quickly run-out.

Usually priced at £30 a month, NOW TV has dropped the cost down to £25 a month. That includes line rental costs. Better yet, there’s no activation fee and only an extra £5 one-off to pay for delivery. In total, broadband customers will save £60 compared to those who signed-up before the offer kicked in.

As well as speedy broadband, NOW TV’s “Super-Fast Fab Fibre” boasts unlimited usage – so there’s no need to worry about running out of data allowance.

You’ll also get a wireless router for free with the 12-month contract term as well as free anytime calls to UK landline and mobile numbers (that’s something that NOW TV typically charges an extra £8 a month to add to your contract). Once you’ve completed your broadband order, NOW TV offers customers the Entertainment Pass for just £6.99 a month for 6 months. Usually priced at £9.99 a month (although a rumoured price rise could make it even costlier in the coming months) the Entertainment Pass includes access to exclusive Sky TV channels, including Sky Atlantic, Sky Documentaries, Sky Comedy, MTV, FOX, VICE, Sky One and more.

As well as live channels, NOW TV Entertainment Pass viewers will be able to watch award-winning shows like Chernobyl, The Trip To Greece, Breeders, Brassic, Game Of Thrones, Succession, The West Wing, The Sopranos. and more on-demand.
