Parent re-watches baby monitor and is spooked when ‘anomaly’ wakes tot

A parent has been left chilled to the bone after discovering an “anomaly” on his baby monitor, which he believes woke his tot.

The footage, shared to Reddit, shows the adorable tot having a nap in his cot.

A transparent object then floats past the screen and, just a fraction of a second later, the youngster moves in his sleep.

Reddit user Cyn32286 posted the video to a channel dedicated to ghost videos, asking: “Second baby monitor video anomaly?”

It has since attracted more than 100 upvotes, with viewers flooding in to offer their suggestions.

Some believed the object was nothing but a speck of dust, but others claimed the trajectory of its path meant it must have been something else.

“I’ve never seen a random cloud of dust behave like that indoors (not saying it can’t happen),” one said.

“If something creates/disturbs a dusty surface then dust will more likely than not expand out in a plume in all directions. And do so rather uniformly in speed.

“Unless there’s an air conditioning vent opposite the direction this “cloud” is blowing, the dust explanation seems unlikely. I’m going with malfunction or ghost.”

Another said: “It does seem that the baby moves as that comes across the screen. It is interesting but just know that it could be anything from dust to camera malfunction.”

In response, the uploader said he had cleaned the camera and closed the binds to stop the movement of dust, yet it still happened.

While some viewers had a more supernatural response, with one saying: “Yep that’s probably the baby’s Guardian Angel, or it could be a loved one who has passed over.”
