Parkinson’s disease: How much you should exercise per week to slow down the condition

Twice a week, it’s advised to take part in resistance training and to perform stretching to increase flexibility.

Parkinson’s UK adds a list of ways to weave such exercise into your daily life.

It suggests taking up racket sport, cycling, running and swimming, Nordic walking and leisure centre classes.

In addition, home workouts are encouraged with the use of DVDs, YouTube and exercise channels on the TV.
