Pre-orders for Pikmin 3 Deluxe have launched today, and the announcement helps to fill the Switch’s release schedule for the rest of the year which currently is looking threadbare.
Currently the Switch’s release schedule for Q3 and Q4 is looking thin on the ground, with fans hoping Nintendo have been saving up plenty of announcements for their next Direct.
It is believed the first full Nintendo Direct in almost a year will be happening at some point in August.
One of the most heavily rumoured announcements for the next Direct is a Super Mario All Stars-style collection that will include remasters of classic 3D titles.
Games such as Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy are believed to be getting the remaster treatment for the Nintendo Switch.
In the meantime, as Switch fans wait for the next Nintendo Direct they at least have the return of the Pikmin series to look forward to in 2020.
