Princess Diana, the mother of Prince Harry and Prince William, tragically died in August 1997 aged 36. News of the fatal car accident in Paris shocked the world and caused heartbreak for the Royal Family. Also killed in the accident was Diana’s boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, who was 42 at the time of the accident. Dodd was the son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed El Fayed.
Princess Diana and her own mother, Frances Shand Kydd, didn’t have a good relationship.
In a previous documentary, aired to Channel 4, it revealed how Diana was shockingly branded a “prostitute” in an Islamophobic tirade by her own mother due to her relationship with Dodi Fayed.
The late Princess of Wales’ former butler Paul Burrell shared an incident when he overheard a telephone call between Princess Diana and her mother.
Speaking in the Channel 4 documentary, he revealed: “(Diana) said come and have a listen to this, and her mother … berated her for being [seen] around with Muslim men,” Burrell said.

Princess Diana didn’t have a good relationship with her stepmother, Raine Spencer.
“You’re nothing but a prostitute and a whore, that’s what I’ve brought up, a prostitute,” Princess Diana’s mother said.

To make matters worse, Princess Diana didn’t have a good relationship with her stepmother, Raine Spencer, either.
The documentary delved deeper in Diana’s relationship with her mother and step-mother.
Previously, it was reported that Princess Diana and her siblings would refer to their stepmother as “Acid Raine” and often sang “Raine, Raine, go away.”
When Princess Diana married Prince Charles in 1981, many at the time noted that Raine Spencer wasn’t seated with John Spencer, Viscount Althorp, father of the bride.
Many later noticed that Reine was also absent from the Buckingham Palace balcony after the ceremony.
Princess Diana’s relationship with her own mother was fractured and cold, her mother once even called her a “prostitute”
Previously it was also reported that one time the Princess of Wales pushed Raine down the stairs, which was revealed by Raine Spencer’s assistant.
However, their relationship improved after Princess Diana and Prince Charles’s split.
According to the Daily Mail, as Princess Diana was coming to terms with the collapse of her marriage with Prince Charles, she remained estranged from her own mother, so Raine provided her a “no-nonsense shoulder to cry on.”
Following Princess Diana’s fatal car crash, Raine spoke at the Diana’s inquest and her affection and sympathy for the People’s Princess were obvious, BBC reported.
Raine recalled how Princess Diana would always tell her that she had no hidden agenda because there were so many people around her that wanted something from her.
Raine also described Princess Diana’s life as “very draining.”
Raine also shared Princess Diana’s affection for her boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed who was with her during the accident.
According to Raine, the relationship between the two was not a “summer romance” and she described Al Fayed as “charming, sweet and modest.”
When the inquest was about to finish, Raine asked coroner Lord Justice Scott Baker’s permission for a short statement.
She thanked everyone involved in the inquest and begged to solve the mystery surrounding Princess Diana and Al Fayed’s death, so they could truly rest in peace.
Recently, the shocking news that Princess Diana’s son, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle have decided to step back from their roles as “senior” members of the British court, has rocked the nation.
They blindsided the nation, including their family, with the shocking announcement after releasing a statement on their joint Instagram page.
