PS Plus free games update for PS4 before PlayStation Plus June reveal

It’s been a busy week in gaming, and PS Plus gamers have plenty of new rewards available to them in May. The free PS4 games currently available include Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19, but other rewards can be claimed too. One of these includes an exclusive bundle for Apex Legends Season 5, which launched earlier this week.

Apex Legends is a free game that you can download and play without the need of a PS Plus subscription.

To make up for this, PlayStation Plus members can grab a cosmetic bundle to celebrate the new launch.

And the good news is that while May’s PS Plus free game are only playable for as long as you own a subscription, this Apex Legends bundle can be kept forever.

“Show up in the Apex Arena ready for battle with the PlayStation Plus Play Pack. This collection of content will trick specific weapons and Legends out in special gear,” a message from the official description adds.

This pack includes the following six items: Two character skins (Gibraltar & Crypto), two weapon skins (R-301 & Mastiff), and two banners (Gibraltar & Crypto).

Another cosmetic available to claim this week comes from Twitch Prime and is for the newest character, Loba.

Loba is available to play now and comes with the following abilities:

Tactical – Burglar’s Best Friend – Teleport to hard-to-reach places or escape trouble quickly by throwing your Jump Drive bracelet.

Ultimate – Black Market Boutique – Place a portable device that allows you to teleport nearby loot to your inventory. Each friendly or enemy Legend can take up to two items.

Passive – Eye for Quality – Nearby epic and Legendary loot can be seen through walls. The range is the same as Black Market Boutique.

Game Master Loba is available from May 15 until June 18 and mostly changes the secondary colours of the original design.

More details on this month’s PS Plus free games can be found below, with both games available to download from Tuesday, May 5, until Monday, June 1.
