The new PS Plus games for January 2020 will be announced by Sony this week. Time is running out for the tech giant to share the update before they go live on January 7, and the good news is that the wait for the big reveal looks set to end on January 1, 2020. This is when Sony is expected to confirm its very first PlayStation Plus games for the new year.

Sony could choose a different date if they want, but it seems pretty likely that the PS Plus January 2020 line-up is set to be announced on New Year’s Day, with the free PS4 games going live on Tuesday, January 7.

Until then, Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross will remain available to download and add to your digital collection.

These are the current PlayStation Plus games and they are scheduled to be removed when the new selection goes live.

No leaks have emerged to provide a hint on what might be included and there are so many titles to pick from at this point, it’s hard to guess what might be coming next.

Fans have made their own predictions, with many hoping for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, while other ideas include Resident Evil 2 Remake, although this seems unlikely based on it launching less than 12 months ago.

Others expect to see The Order 1886 included at some point in the future, and has featured on every PS Plus prediction thread since time immemorial.

Ubisoft games like Watch Dogs 2 and Far Cry Primal both get a mention, alongside Firewatch, BioShock The Collection and Sleeping Dogs.

But before all that kicks off later this week, PS Plus gamers in the UK only have a short amount of time to claim the latest PlayStation rewards.

Unlike in the United States, UK gamers can head over to the PS Plus site and claim a number of vouchers at no extra cost.

These usually include discount codes on certain items and are made available for a few months at a time.

And it just so happens that the latest batch are about to expire on the official PlayStation site.

According to Sony, there is just one day left to claim a number of discounts, including deals on Cinema tickets, pizza delivery and other items.

So it would be best to head over to the site and check out the rewards that are set to expire in the next 24-hours.
