Quarantine update: Certain Britons may soon be exempt from 14-day isolation rules

By

The government currently has a travel corridor list in place with countries included on it that they deem safe for Britons to travel to without having to quarantine on their return.

Last week, the Canary Islands, Denmark, Maldives and the Greek islands of Mykonos were added back to the safe list in a huge boost for winter holidays.

The islands have since seen a massive surge in interest with Britons booking last minute breaks in half term.

In total, the Canary Islands saw interest increase approximately 900 percent within 24 hours of the announcement, according to Expedia.
