Queen’s Brian May and Matt Lucas perform Baked Potato Feed NHS charity single – WATCH 1

Brian May has been keeping fans in quarantine entertained with a series of micro-concerts. And the Queen guitarist has played alongside Little Britain comedian Matt Lucas in a new video. The latter has written a charity single called Thank You Baked Potato, with all proceeds going towards Feed NHS, a campaign set up to help raise money for NHS workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Across two posts May wrote: “With the legendary Matt Lucas of Little Britain and beyond !!

“Sage advice (no – instructions) in these lyrics of course.

“I think this is a smash !! Or could it be a mash.”

The song sees Lucas taking advice from a baked potato.

May added of Lucas’ message: “By the end of this week we will have served over 80,000 meals.

“Leon Restaurants began the initiative with Damian Lewis, Helen McCrory and me, and we have lots of other restaurant chains now on board, all making meals at cost, and any other profits go back to the charity.

“Also you can buy the original #ThankYouBaked Potato single here and this week it’s number one in the Official Download Charts! —- so now you know !! Go !!! Bri.”

May also recently virtually jammed with Gary Barlow on his Instagram account.
