Rainbow Six Siege update today: PS4 and Xbox One patch notes following server issues 1

Following a period of server maintenance, a new Rainbow Six Siege update is rolling out on all platforms. Problems with the patching process popped up on Xbox One today, meaning that things became delayed for some gamers. “Due to a degradation we are briefly postponing the update for all platforms,” a message from Ubisoft explained at the time.

“XB1 players will still be able to update but will be unable to access the game until everything is resolved.”

The good news is that these problems have now been resolved and gamers should now be able to get back online to play.

Server disruption for most online games has become more commonplace, with more gamers being online at less standard times around the globe.

It can lead to bottlenecks in demand and can leave some platforms struggling to cope.

However, those problems should have ended for Rainbow Six Siege players today.

Today’s update doesn’t include much in the way of new content but it does provide some much-needed bug support.
