Explaining how the campaign works, she said: “The idea is celebrities are donating several items from their own wardrobes which will go to auction and the general public can go and bid on those auction items and get their hands on anything they decide.
“Also, we’re encouraging people to give their own closet a clear out and donate some money to the charity.”
“Now is a really important time, as you mentioned there, we have seen, a 50% increase in calls to the helpline and we need to do something to help.”
