To make the most of the sale and book flights, head to the Ryanair website.
Ryanair’s Dara Brady said: “For 48 hours only we’re launching a mega price drop sale, across one million seats.”
The carrier shared further details in a statement.
“Ryanair… is today (Tuesday, September 1) launching its biggest seat sale of 2020 with fares as low as £5 (yes, you read that right), across one million seats, for 48 hours only,” Ryanair said.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to grab yourself, your friends and your family a flight to one of Ryanair’s 240 destinations for less than the cost of a pint.
“To avail of these 48-hour special fares, customers must be quick and visit the Ryanair.com website to book their flights before midnight, Wednesday, September 2, and grab the biggest bargain of 2020 for a getaway in September and October.”
Ryanair has not been cancelling any flights following government travel updates.
The carrier continues to serve destinations no longer on the ‘safe’ list such as France and Spain.
Unfortunately, those who choose not to fly due to FCO rules will not be able to receive a refund.
However, Ryanair has dropped its flight change fees for all new bookings made for travel in July, August and September with travel up to December 31.
In further airline news, after Portugal was added to the ‘safe’ list two weeks ago, Ryanair announced it was increasing its flights to the Algarve.
Ryanair is planning on adding more weekly flights between September 11 and October 24 to Portugal.
The flights will operate from 12 different airports in the UK.
Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Liverpool, Glasgow Prestwick, London Southend, Luton and Stansted will each have one more flight added each week.
Manchester and Newcastle will have two more flights added each week.
