Salford crash: Two dead and three injured as high speed police chase goes HORRIBLY wrong
The collision happened after speeding car was pursued by a police unit on Frederick Road around 11.40pm on Wednesday.
The car crashed with two other vehicles during the chase.
Two men from the pursued vehicle were pronounced dead briefly after the collision.
A man and two women from one of the other cars were hospitalised with severe injuries.
GMP said the collision was transferred to the police force’s Professional Standards Branch “in line with normal procedure”.
No arrests have been made.

Greater Manchester Police released a statement following the incident.
The statement read: “At around 11.40pm on Wednesday 23 September 2020, police observed a vehicle being driven at speed on Frederick Road, Salford.
“Officers initiated a pursuit and the vehicle in question collided with two third party vehicles.
“Two men from the vehicle in question were sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
“One man and two women from a third party vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“No arrests have been made.
“In line with normal procedure, this incident has been referred to GMP’s Professional Standards Branch and the IOPC.”
