Samsung’s Galaxy Buds get a colourful advantage over Apple's AirPods

Samsung has just unleashed its new Galaxy Buds+ with their battery life the headline feature. These in-ear wireless headphones can keep going for over 10 hours on a single charge which certainly outshines most of the competition including Apple’s popular AirPods.

Along with that epic power, Samsung is also now offering something else that you won’t find in any Apple Store as the Korean firm is introducing some funky colours to its new music makers.

As spotted by the team at SamMobile, the Galaxy Buds+ are set to debut in striking red and pastel pink colour schemes.

Along with the actual headphones getting a brighter appearance the charging case also gets a refreshed look to match.

Currently, it appears this is a South Korean exclusive but Samsung often launches these products a little later in other markets so expect to hear more news on this in the coming weeks.

Apple has never joined the party when it comes to colour with the US technology firm only selling its iconic AirPods in white.

This new update from Samsung means its latest Galaxy Buds+ arrive in a total of four colours with pink and red now joining the already announced black and white.

These latest buds cost £159, which is considerably cheaper than the latest AirPods Pros.

However, Apple has managed to pack noise cancellation into its new earbuds, which is something you won’t find on the Galaxy Buds+.

It’s been a busy time for Samsung with the Korean tech company also unveiling a number of new smartphones in the first part of 2020.

The Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra will all go on sale this Friday, March 13, and feature a faster 120Hz display, bigger battery and improved camera which now includes a Space Zoom for the ultimate close up.

These devices now join the Galaxy Z Flip which is Samsung’s second attempt at conquering the folding phone market.

Unlike the Galaxy Fold, which opens like a tablet, the Z Flip springs upwards to make its giant screen small enough to pop in your pocket.

Other features on the Flip include a powerful Snapdragon processor, dual camera and all-day battery.
