Currently a number of countries are exempt from the FCO advice against non-essential travel, meaning Brits can travel to certain areas for their holidays without the requirement to self-isolate back home.
But the FCO state Spain was taken off the exemption list in response to increased numbers of coronavirus cases in several regions of Spain.
The FCO state the regions of Aragon, Navarra and Catalonia have seen increasing numbers of cases, which includes the cities of Zaragoza, Pamplona and Barcelona.
Before your return to the UK from Spain, you will be required to provide your journey and contact details, including details of where you’ll be staying while self-isolating in the UK.
