“So when I got Janette I was like, “yes!” First day I was like, “Janette, just make me lift you, that’s all I want to do”, and we’ve done loads,” he confessed.

It comes after Mark told press he didn’t think his wife, actor Michelle Keegan, would fancy her chances on the show.
He told The Sun Online: “I don’t think she… she might. I mean never say never… but she, I just think her nerves would go to another level, she gets quite nervous.

“I mean I do, I’m a bit more like, ‘come on, let’s just have it!’

“I’m not sure she’s… whenever she watches me or when I’ve sent her the dance before she’s like, ‘I don’t know how you do it!'”

Strictly Come Dancing: Christmas Special airs on Christmas Day at 4.40pm on BBC One.
