Billie Eilish tour: Fans rage at 'expensive' ticket prices – 'Why the f**k?'

After the release of her latest song, My Power, Billie Eilish announced her first set of shows since her previous world tour. 2019/2020’s Where Do We Go? Tour was axed because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The new tour, titled Happier Than Ever Tour, is due to take place in 2022 following the release of her second album of the same name. However, following the release of the tickets this week, her fans have been left gobsmacked at the ticket prices.
Billie is spending a large portion of her tour in the UK where she is playing in five cities.

Throughout her time in Britain, the young singer is playing Belfast, London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.

At the moment, only some ticket prices for gigs have been revealed.

Prices for the Manchester events begin at £46.30 and go all the way up to £100. Meanwhile, her Birmingham tickets kick-off at £39 and go up to £90.

Fans of Billie have now spoken out on Twitter with their disappointment over the pricing.

One wrote: “Wow those are some expensive tickets compared to the last tour. I guess demand sets the price right there…”

Another said: “Why the f**k are Billie Eilish tickets so expensive?”

With a third writing: “I wish @billieeilish tickets weren’t so expensive.”

Since then, however, Billie has exploded in popularity.

The young star has since won a number of Grammy Awards.

In the beginning of 2020 Billie won the Album of the Year award at the ceremony. She also claimed the Top Female Artist gong at the Billboard Music Awards.

This year she won Record of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media at the Grammys.

The latter award was for Billie’s James Bond song No Time To Die, which was released to coincide with the upcoming 007 film of the same name.

This was a particularly great achievement as she is the youngest-ever Bond singer thus far.

Tickets for the Happier Than Ever Tour are available now.

Billie Eilish gave glimpse of her tattoo after saying she would 'never' reveal it

19-year-old singer Billie Eilish shocked her fans and the world earlier this month when she gave her first lingerie photoshoot. Working alongside Vogue to show off her figure for the first time, Billie spoke candidly about how she wanted to make herself “feel good” with her new public look. All eyes were on a specific part of her body, however, which gave a glimpse of her tattoo.
Previously, the star has alluded to having gotten tattoos in secret.

In various interviews since she has also admitted to having hidden the tattoos from sight.

Speaking to Variety in 2020 Billie was asked specifically if she had any tattoos once again.

She replied: “I did get a tattoo. But you won’t ever see it.”

Billie’s latest photoshoot showed the singer in the most revealing clothing she has ever modelled before.

Before the photoshoot, the singer had been known for wearing baggy clothes which went against the norms of other female pop stars her age.

In changing up her look drastically, the singer inadvertently also gave her fans their first look at her tattoo on her thigh.

While it is mostly covered up, the image does look like a striking monochrome dragon that begins on her thigh and ascends to her stomach.

Billie also got ahead of criticisms about her change of stance on her look, saying: “‘If you’re about body positivity, why would you wear a corset? Why wouldn’t you show your actual body?’ It’s all about what makes you feel good.

“If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, f*** it – if you feel like you look good, you look good.”

She later added: “‘If you’re about body positivity, why would you wear a corset? Why wouldn’t you show your actual body?’

“My thing is that I can do whatever I want.”

Billie’s look was inspired by Betty Brosmer, a 1950s pin-up girl and model.

The singer explained she wanted to achieve the “classic, old-timey pin-up” look.

Speaking about taking on this new look, Billie confessed: “I’ve literally never done anything in this realm at all.”

Vogue notes she smirked before adding: “Y’know, besides when I’m alone and s***.”

Billie Eilish Happier Than Ever: When is new Billie Eilish album out?

This post originally appeared on Daily Express :: Entertainment Feed

Billie Eilish is back in business after winning even more Grammys at the 2021 ceremony. She has already teased an upcoming album with new song releases and comments about her ’16 tracks’ waiting in the wings. Now, those rumours have finally been confirmed and her new album, Happier Than Ever, has been announced.

When is Billie Eilish’s new album Happier Than Ever coming out?

Billie has finally announced her new album and, luckily for fans, they don’t have to wait too long before they can hear the new music.

In fact, Billie is dropping one song from the album pretty much immediately, though she has not given away which tune that will be.

The album as a whole, named Happier Than Ever, is coming out on July 30, and the new song will come out on Thursday, April 29 at 9am PT, which is 5pm BST.

Despite the album’s title, the album cover image shows Billie with a single tear running down her face, showing she may not have departed too far from her emo-pop style of her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Having said this, her song My Future, released in 2020 after months of lockdown and coronavirus quarantine, was far more hopeful than some of her previous, meaning this album could be a lyrical departure for Billie.

Pitchfork have revealed the full tracklist for the album as well, which will include some numbers fans will recognise.

The track list reads:

01 Getting Older
02 I Didn’t Change My Number
03 Billie Bossa Nova
04 my future
05 Oxytocin
07 Lost Cause
08 Halley’s Comet
09 Not My Responsibility

Billie even teased the number as being ’16,’ the exact number of tracks on the new album, which could show Billie’s love for her songs meant she could not bear to leave one out of the final record.

Speaking to Vanity Fair in February, she said: “Right now I have 16 [songs]. We’ve been working. And I love them all.

“I think Finneas and I have just seriously really gotten in the groove. We do it so fast.

“There was a period of time, a month ago or something, we were just texting the label like, ‘Song done, another song done, another song done.’

“So, I’m so much better at it. I love it so much more. I actually really do enjoy it now and I do feel like I’m pretty good at it now.”

She also revealed in an Instagram Q&A with fans that the final record would have 16 tracks on it, meaning she really could not choose between those she was working on.

Previously released songs My Future and Therefore I Am appear on the final album.

Happier Than Ever is released on July 30, with a new song coming at 5pm BST on April 29

Billie Eilish Snuggles Up To Matthew Tyler Vorce On A Stroll As They Spark Dating Buzz — Pics

Billie Eilish was photographed resting her head on Matthew Tyler Vorce’s shoulder while they went on a walk together.

A new romance may be brewing for Billie Eilish! The singer sparked dating rumors with Matthew Tyler Vorce, an actor, when they were spotted out and about together on April 18. In photos from the outing, WHICH YOU CAN SEE HERE, Billie walked her dog while strolling alongside the actor. At another point, she even rested her head on his shoulder, and he wrapped an arm around her to hold her close.

Billie and Matthew stopped at a shop to grab drinks while out and about. Billie kept it casual in a pair of bike shorts and a black sweatshirt, with her new, platinum blonde hair on full display. Meanwhile, Matthew wore jeans, a crew neck sweatshirt and a baseball cap. HollywoodLife has reached out to a rep for Billie regarding the status of this relationship.

Throughout her recent years in the spotlight, Billie has been very private about her personal life. However, in her 2021 Apple TV+ documentary, she debuted her ex-boyfriend, 7:AMP, who she referred to as ‘Q’. The two broke up in 2019, but he was a big part of her life during the time when she filmed the doc.

“I just wasn’t happy,” Billie admitted in the footage. “I didn’t want the same things he wanted and I don’t think that’s fair for him. I don’t think you should be in a relationship super excited about things that the other person couldn’t care less about. There was jut a lack of….um, effort I think?” She also admitted that Q’s lack of “love for himself” played a part in things unraveling. “I don’t want to fix him,” she explained. “I can’t fix him. I tried.”

After Billie and Q’s relationship went public, there was criticism due to the pair’s five-year age gap, and the fact that Billie was quite young when she dated the rapper. Billie’s fans gave Q major backlash on social media, but she urged them not to take it too far. “Remember to be nice to people no matter what!” she wrote on Instagram. “I love you guys, thank you for protecting me, but be nice!”

Billie Eilish: How star warmed up her voice using pre-show ritual

19-year-old singer Billie Eilish just won her second set of Grammy Awards, one for Best Record and another for Best Song Written for Visual Media. The young star has been working hard to perfect her craft for years and, as a singer, she takes precise care of her voice because her style is so versatile. Some of her songs, including Bad Guy and My Future, use an extremely deep octave vocal range, while some of her other hits, including James Bond theme No Time To Die, require a much higher singing voice.
In order to keep her voice in the best shape possible, Billie previously revealed she would sing a specific song before every show to get herself warmed up.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in 2019, the star was asked if she had any way of preparing herself to perform.

She replied: “I did, I used to… The first tour I actually had a song I would warm up with, which was Sabrina Claudio!”

Sabrina is a fellow young American singer from Miami, Florida.

Music-lovers may recognise some of Sabrina’s hits from her albums No Rain, No Flowers and Truth Is.

Billie revealed: “It was… I think it was Unravel Me, or Belong To You. I don’t know. It was always Sabrina Claudio, though.

She added: “Now I just do vocal warm-ups!”

The star has spent a lot of time with Sabrina, including attending parties together.

The song received a good response on Sabrina’s social media accounts but only reached 115 in the charts at the time.

Sabrina has also worked with rapper Khalid, who is one of the only artists Billie has released a song with in the past.

The Bad Guy Singer mostly works with her brother, Finneas O’Connell, who is her partner, producer and best friend.

The pair have been inseparable for their whole lives and Finneas recently spoke up about “protecting” his sister while being in the industry.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times Finneas said: “We have a team we really trust and our parents around.

“But I always think of it, because of the amount of people we meet. I’m always trying to help facilitate the safest environment for her.”

He added: “She’s 19 now, but over the past couple of years, she was very young. And so I’ve wanted to be as protective as I can. I never wasn’t in a room with her when we wrote with other people in the first couple of years.

“Part of that was the feeling: ‘I want to keep this kid safe.’ Not to be overbearing, but just a witness. Make sure that nobody is being a creep.”

Billie Eilish: Finneas O’Connell opens up on ‘protecting’ younger sister from ‘creeps’

Today, March 29, 2021, marks the second anniversary of Billie Eilish’s debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? The record sold more than 1.3 million copies in three months. Since the album’s release the 19-year-old has become one of the most famous artists in the music industry and has received a lot of attention in her career. Her brother and producer, Finneas, has now opened up on attempting to keep her safe every step of the way.
The artists appeared in an interview with The Sunday Times this weekend where they were asked about trust in the industry.

Finneas got candid and replied: “We have a team we really trust and our parents around.

“But I always think of it, because of the amount of people we meet. I’m always trying to help facilitate the safest environment for her.”

Finneas, who is four-years-older than his sister, then spoke about chaperoning Billie throughout her career.

Finneas continued: “She’s 19 now, but over the past couple of years, she was very young.

“And so I’ve wanted to be as protective as I can. I never wasn’t in a room with her when we wrote with other people in the first couple of years.

“Part of that was the feeling: ‘I want to keep this kid safe.’ Not to be overbearing, but just a witness. Make sure that nobody is being a creep.”

The siblings’ parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, add to the protection and still work closely with them every day.

Billie’s Apple TV Plus documentary, The World’s A Little Blurry, showed the parents attending photo shoots, recording sessions and gigs well past her 18th birthday.

Last year Maggie revealed the struggles she had with Billie’s upbringing over her reaction to a Justin Bieber song, however.

She explained the young star was so “obsessed” with the Canadian singer they considered getting her professional help.

Speaking on Apple Music Podcast Me & Dad Radio, she said: “Driving to the dance studio with Billie playing this song, sobbing, and then driving back and sobbing. And the video, and Billie talking about it, and being excited it was coming out, and just crying and crying.”

Maggie said to Billie: “I just want to say we did consider taking you to therapy for how incredibly… you were in so much pain over Justin Bieber. It was so intense, it caused you so much pain.”

Although Billie’s parents are heavily involved with her work, the artist has not sacrificed anything creatively.

Speaking about the themes and ideas behind her first album with Zane Lowe in 2019 the star said: “For me, every song in the album… there is sleep paralysis. There’s night terrors, nightmares, lucid dreams.

“Sleep and not sleep have always been a big part of my life. I’ve always had really, really bad night terrors.”

Billie, who was 17-years-old at the time of the interview, went on: “I’ve had sleep paralysis five times.

“All my dreams are lucid so I control them. And I know that I’m dreaming when I’m dreaming so… I don’t even know.

“Sometimes I’ll have dreams where the thing that was in my dream will happen the next day. It’s so weird. It’s so weird.”

Harry Styles and Billie Eilish spark frenzy over reaction to each other at Grammys 2021

Harry Styles, 27, and Billie Eilish, 19, caught the attention of viewers of the 2021 Grammy Awards who couldn’t get over their “sweet” reaction to each other’s ceremony performances. Harry opened the 63rd awards show with his hit single Watermelon Sugar, shortly followed by Billie’s ballad Everything I Wanted, which is up for both record and song of the year.
Fans fell head over heels for them both as cameras caught Billie, who is now a six-time Grammy winner, dancing along to the former One Direction star’s catchy performance, whereas Harry whistled when she took to the stage.

“Oh my goodness these two!” one viewer exclaimed.

Another agreed:” Harry and Billie supporting each other’s performances is the best thing to come out of this evening.”

“LOOK HOW THEY’RE LOOKING AT EACH OTHER THOUGH! HARRY AND BILLIE YESSS,” a third couldn’t contain their exciement.

A fourth joked: “I want someone to look at me the way Billie looks at Harry.”

The 19-year-old, who dominated last year’s ceremony, performed on top of a car which appeared to be submerged in the studio floor.

She has already won best song written for visual media, for her Bond theme No Time To Die – which is set to be released later this year as Daniel Craig’s last hurrah as 007.

Harry too is nominated for best pop solo performance – which he later won – best pop vocal album and best music video at this year’s ceremony, but it wasn’t just his voice that became the centre of attention tonight.

The singer has become a pinnacle in the evolution of fashion over the past few years, with his style becoming increasingly more iconic as he continues to show his willingness to blur gender boundaries.

He kept viewers of the 2021 awards waiting for his highly-anticipated red carpet arrival, where he stole the show with a bright yellow chequered/tweed blazer with matching shoes, brown velvet trousers and a bright purple feather-boa.

But as soon as he hit the stage, he traded up the colourful ensemble for a full black leather co-ordinating Gucci suit for his breathtaking performance, equipped with a new green feather-boa, which he flung off dramatically mid song.

The pop sensation chose to go shirtless under the tuxedo jacket, pairing the look with heeled loafers, several chunky rings and a cross necklace, and fans couldn’t get enough.

Taking to social media, they were in awe of his latest fashion debut, with one writing on Twitter: “Everyone say thank you universe for letting us live in the same era as harry styles.”

A third added: “Omg this boy Harry giving us all life with his iconic fashion statements!”

“HARRY STYLES SERVING CLUELESS VIBES #GRAMMYs,” a fourth poited out, referring to the 1995 coming of age rom-com.

Billie Eilish ex-boyfriend: Star opens up on secret split – 'I can't fix him'

Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry was released on Apple TV Plus today and detailed the journey the 19-year-old pop-star has been on for the past few years. The documentary kicks off in late 2018 and ends in early 2020, when she won 11 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. The young singer has remained private about her love life thus far, but The World’s A Little Blurry allowed her to show fans another side to her.

The documentary revealed Eilish had been in a relationship with a musician named Q throughout filming.

Outside of music writing, recording and performances, Eilish was shown going on dates with Q, who is otherwise known as rapper 7:AMP.

The couple got together when Eilish was 16-years-old.

They were later shown at a roller rink together, where Eilish told him: “You’re so fine. I love you.”

Eilish added: “And there was just a lack of effort, I think. I literally was just like, ‘Dude, you don’t even have enough love to love yourself, you can’t love me. And you don’t. Like, you think you do.’

“I do love him, though, which is what made it harder. ‘Cause I’m not over him. I didn’t find someone else. I didn’t stop having love for him.

“I just, like, spent time away from him for a little bit and I was like, ‘wow. I’m missing so much because I’m worried about you all the time.’

“I don’t wanna fix him. I can’t fix him, I’ve tried. I can’t do it anymore.”

7:AMP has since shut down his Instagram account.

In an interview with GQ UK in June 2020, Eilish confessed she is not looking for another relationship.

She said: “It is so weird, but I don’t see it for myself. I know I will find someone eventually, but at the moment I can’t visualise it.

“I feel like I am a totally different person when I am with someone else. People just don’t do it for me.

“It’s been months and I am not attracted to people any more. I don’t know what’s going on… It’s actually kind of dope.”

Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry is available on Apple TV Plus now.
