Royal Family LIVE: Meghan and Harry ‘planning alternative Jubilee in US’ – bombshell claim

Royal Family LIVE: Meghan and Harry 'planning alternative Jubilee in US' – bombshell claim

The Queen, 95, will celebrate a remarkable 70 years on the throne next June. The historic occasion is scheduled to take place across a bumper four-day weekend from June 2-5 and will see members of the Royal Family attend public events up and down the country – starting with a traditional Trooping the Colour parade in London.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit the Royal Family last year and it is unclear whether they will form part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the UK.

Royal commentator Neil Sean suggested the couple could organise their own charity event in the US, but warned the move may not go down too well.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: “According to a very good source, very close to Harry and Meghan, it looks like Harry and Meghan could be planning the alternative Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

“A lot of people over in New York and particularly in the United States will be celebrating with us on that special weekend.

“But Harry and Meghan, according to that close source, think they could do something themselves – perhaps throw a huge gala party, some big sort of concert event, all raising money for the charitable causes associated with not just Harry and Meghan, but some of the causes associated with her gracious Majesty the Queen.”

Mr Sean added: “A lot of people may scoff at this, but Prince Harry is within his right to celebrate his grandmother being on the throne for so long.”

EU humiliated as Swiss overwhelmingly reject joining Brussels bloc – bombshell poll

EU humiliated as Swiss overwhelmingly reject joining Brussels bloc - bombshell poll

The latest research deals a blow to EU bosses who are keen to bring the land-locked European nation into the fold. A survey showed 64 percent of Swiss participants are against joining the bloc while 58 percent backed their government’s decision to break off talks with Brussels in May.

Just one in five of those surveyed opposed politicians’ decision to end the talks.

The Swiss walked out on seven-year negotiations claiming the terms of the deal tabled by the EU were simply unacceptable.

Ignazio Cassis, the country’s foreign minister, said the requests made by him and his colleagues were “not met”.

Brussels responded with a warning, saying Switzerland risks losing its “privileged access” to the bloc’s markets.

The non-member state is the bloc’s fourth-largest trading partner and its economy is closely integrated with the 27 countries that are part of the EU.

Citizens in Switzerland and throughout the bloc enjoy a mutual right to free movement.

Two months after negotiations crumbled, a poll shows Switzerland’s population is not keen on the idea of becoming the 28th member state.

Just four in 10 of those surveyed said they would like to see fresh discussions on joining kick-started between Bern and the EU, according to a poll carried out by research institute Marketagent.com.

The EU serves as the largest trading partner for the Swiss, with its exports making up 5.2 percent of the bloc’s imports.

Goods sent to member states are mainly chemicals, medicines, machinery and timepieces.

The Swiss are famed for their watch-making skills and the globe’s largest manufacturer, the Swatch Group, is based in the town of Bienne.

The survey comes just weeks after Brussels threatened to kick Switzerland out of the European electricity market as relations continued to sour.

With no deal to join the bloc insight, the Swiss will not be able to participate in the bloc’s so-called power-market coupling.

As a result, large-scale power outages remain a real but minor risk in the Alpine country.

Switzerland plays a key role in the EU’s electricity scheme through the clean energy it produces and the power that passes through its borders.

More than 1,000 people in German and French-speaking parts of Switzerland took part in the survey.

It was carried out between June 11 and 18.

Bombshell UFO report released! US cannot explain over 100 sightings by pilots and navy

Bombshell UFO report released! US cannot explain over 100 sightings by pilots and navy

On Friday, the Pentagon released its report of UFO and UAP sightings by military personnel. Out of 144 reports made by pilots and naval forces since 2004, only one could be explained by investigators.

The interim report said most of the 144 sightings came in the last two years following the US Navy introducing a reporting system for UFOs.

In 143 of all sightings, the report says they “lack sufficient information in our dataset to attribute incidents to specific explanations”.

But in a blow to extraterrestrial hopefuls, the Pentagon said there was “no clear indications that there is any non-terrestrial explanation” for the sightings.

However they did not rule out the possibility, and added UAP sightings “probably lack a single explanation”.

Ahead of Congress receiving the Pentagon’s report into UAP’s, Senate members flagged concerns over national security.

Mark Warner, Democratic chair of the Senate foreign relations committee, told Fox 8 television: “If there are objects flying over military installations that could pose a security threat … [it] needs to be declassified and revealed to American public.

“If there’s something out there, let’s seek it out, and it is probably a foreign power.”

Marco Rubio, the Republican senator and vice chairman of the Senate intelligence committee, said ahead of its release: “There is stuff flying in our airspace.

“We don’t know what it is. We need to find out.”

Marik Von Rennenkampff, analyst in the state department’s bureau of international security and nonproliferation, also told The Guardian foreign powers would have had to undergone a breathtaking technological leap to be behind the UAP’s.

He said: “China has well-documented issues with basic jet engines, they rely on espionage to develop their most advanced weapons systems. So, I struggle with China having developed this.

“Russia has a defence budget that is a fraction of the United States, and much of its military infrastructure is crumbling so I struggle with that too.

“So if it is China or Russia, then that’s extraordinary.

“I don’t know how they did it, and it would be a monumental failure of intelligence collection on the part of the United States, orders of magnitude worse than 9/11.”

UFO BOMBSHELL: US to release landmark report – military pilots to lift lid on mystery

UFO BOMBSHELL: US to release landmark report – military pilots to lift lid on mystery

She said: “We take reports of incursions into our airspace – by any aircraft, identified or unidentified – very seriously, and investigate each one.”

On Wednesday last week, several members of Congress were given a confidential briefing on the anticipated report.

Experts have been speculating the reports’ contents for over a month but have warned elements of the document may remain classified for security and counterintelligence reasons.

In April, footage of UAPs and UFOs taken by US Navy Pilots was declassified by the Pentagon.

Speaking to Reuters this week, Alex Dietrich, a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander, urged the public to keep an open mind about the topic and to report what they see even if they don’t fully understand it.

The fighter pilot was among several aviators from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz involved in a 2004 encounter off California’s coast with unknown aircraft described as resembling large “Tic Tac” breath mints.

She said the phenomena she saw lacked “any visible flight control surfaces or means of propulsion.”

Ms Dietrich said her higher ups took the event seriously as her account of the incident was “analyzed in a professional, sober way” by the military chain of command.

To help eliminate the stigma surrounding the mysterious phenomena she urged the public to “speak up, even if they don’t know what they saw.”

“I’m trying to normalize it by talking about it,” she said, adding: “I hope I’m not the ‘UFO, Tic Tac person’ for the rest of my life.”

Earlier this month, Democratic Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, told the New York Post: “We take the issue of unexplained aerial phenomena seriously to the extent that we’re dealing with the safety and security of US military personnel or the national security interests of the United States, so we want to know what we’re dealing with.

“I think it’s important to understand that there are legitimate questions involving the safety and security of our personnel, and in our operations and in our sensitive activities, and we all know that there’s [a] proliferation of technologies out there.

UFOs 'exist' and 'cannot be ignored anymore' – expert ahead of bombshell Pentagon report

UFOs 'exist' and 'cannot be ignored anymore' - expert ahead of bombshell Pentagon report

Leslie Kean, author and independent journalist, echoed Mr Drezner’s comments to USA Today.

She said: “There’s no question anymore that UFOs are real.”

Ms Kean added she’s open to connecting UFOs with extraterrestrial life, but she’s quick to distance herself from conspiracy theorists.

The people who have researched UFOs the most tend to be “agnostic about what they are,” she said.

She also hopes the growing interest in the topic will prompt study from scientists who may offer other explanations.

Wuhan lab worker's wife 'died from Covid in 2019' – bombshell US intelligence report

Wuhan lab worker's wife 'died from Covid in 2019' - bombshell US intelligence report
The wife of a Wuhan lab researcher working on deadly viruses apparently died of Covid in December 2019, according to a bombshell US report. The leader of a State Department investigation under the Trump administration made the shock claim amid renewed interest in the lab-leak origin theory of Covid. David Asher, who led an investigation on COVID-19’s origins, told the Daily Caller an employee at the Wuhan Institute of Virology provided US intelligence with the information on the lab researcher’s wife dying from a mysterious virus.
This follows up from a report in the Wall Street Journal last weekend which revealed three Wuhan lab workers were hospitalized with COVID-like symptoms in November 2019.

This was weeks before the first confirmed case of COVID-19 on 8th December.

Mr Asher told Fox News this week: “How many normal people in their 30s to 40s get so sick from influenza that they have to be hospitalized? Lab workers, I am told, are almost certainly getting flu shots.

“Moreover, what are the odds that several workers — who happen to be the researchers on enhancing the pathogenicity of COV RaTG13 and associated COVS all fall very sick together?”

This comes amid a renewed focus on the lab-leak theory, after the Biden administration called for the US intelligence community to redouble its efforts to discover information on the origins of COVID-19 and report back to him in 90 days.

This call included the possibility the virus emerged from a laboratory accident rather than from human contact with an infected animal.

China has hit back against President Biden’s order, pointing to the findings of a March report by a World Health Organization mission.

On Thursday the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson, Zhao Lijian, said it was “extremely unlikely” the virus had come from a laboratory in Wuhan.

Former deputy national security advisor KT McFarland told Fox Business yesterday “China has covered this up from the beginning”.

She added it was “a red flag” the Chinese military “took over” the research lab once the pandemic broke.

President Trump on Tuesday night told US news channel Newsmax said he felt vindicated that scientific opinion and the mainstream media was finally coming round to his point of view.

He said: “I said it right at the beginning, and that’s where it came from.”

EU's beloved border agency facing bombshell legal battle – furious backlash

EU's beloved border agency facing bombshell legal battle - furious backlash
Frontex, the EU‘s top border agency, was told yesterday legal proceedings had been launched against the agency over the violation of the rights of people trying to seek asylum in the bloc.
The case was filed in the European Court of Justice for a woman from Burundi and a Congolese teenager who tried to apply for international protection in Greece last year.

It is the first time Frontex has been taken before the ECJ and lawyers say they aim to reinstate “the rule of law over EU borders”.

They claim the two migrants “were violently rounded up, robbed, abducted, detained, forcibly transferred back to sea, collectively expelled, and ultimately abandoned on rafts with no means of navigation, food or water”.

Frontex rejected the claim and said the lawsuit was pushed by political agenda.

Frontex spokesman Chris Borowski said: “This is not really a legal case.

“It’s an activist agenda pretending to be a legal case, whose aim is to undermine the EU’s resolve to protect its borders.”

In their submission, the lawyers said the 15-year-old boy was among a group of migrants whose phones, bags and money were allegedly confiscated by masked members of the Greek coast guard in the Aegean Sea between Turkey and Greece in May 2020. Migrants were loaded onto a rubber raft in Turkish waters.

EU Home Affairs and Immigration Commissioner Ylva Johansson called on Frontex director Fabrice Leggeri to resign in February.

OLAF and Frontex both confirmed an investigation was taking place but did not provide details at the time.

The anti-fraud agency’s press office said in an email: “OLAF can confirm that it has opened an investigation concerning FRONTEX.”

Adding: “The fact that OLAF is conducting an investigation does not mean that the persons/entities involved have committed an irregularity/fraud.”

In a statement, Frontex said that it “is cooperating fully with OLAF,” adding that “OLAF visits to EU agencies, institutions and entities are a normal practice of good governance” and that “it’s important to note that such visits do not necessarily imply any malpractice. They may also be triggered by the management of European bodies themselves.”

Last year, several media outlets, including Germany’s Der Spiegel, published reports alleging Frontex involvement in pushback operations at the Greek-Turkish maritime border, claiming that refugees and migrants were being forced out of EU waters.

Such pushbacks violate international law and OLAF is investigating whether internal Frontex procedures have been violated, according to one of the officials.

The allegations led Commissioner Johansson to call for an urgent, extraordinary Frontex Management Board meeting and the EU Ombudsman to open an inquiry.

In a letter to the lawyers, Frontex Director Fabrice Leggeri rejected any claim of wrongdoing.

“I am confident that the Agency has undertaken its activities in strict compliance with the applicable legal framework, including fundamental rights obligations,” he wrote.

UFOs laughed off by Joe Biden ahead of bombshell Pentagon report – ‘Ask Obama!’

UFOs laughed off by Joe Biden ahead of bombshell Pentagon report - ‘Ask Obama!’

Mr Obama appeared on the Late Late Show, hosted by James Corden, and said there are UFOs sightings that defy explanation.

He said on the programme: “What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there are, there’s footage and records of objects in the skies, that we don’t know exactly what they are.

“We can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern.

“And so, you know, I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is.”

Bombshell UFO report from US tipped to be 'story of the century'

Bombshell UFO report from US tipped to be 'story of the century'
Social media is awash with rumours the explosive files could finally expose the truth over whether alien life exists. It has long been speculated that highly advanced alien species have already visited Earth.
Governments across the world have repeatedly denied this, insisting there is no evidence to support this.

But the existence of top secret locations, most famously the US airbase commonly known as Area 51 in Nevada, has fuelled speculation that governments are not telling the entire truth.

Now an explosive documentary by American show 60 minutes has broadcast leaked footage claiming to be of UFOs.

It also reportedly obtained a Pentagon report which described them as a “national security threat”.

“We can’t explain how they move, their trajectory.

“They did not have an easily explainable pattern.

“And so I think that people still take it seriously, trying to investigate and figure out what that is.”

News of both the report and documentary was shared by the widely followed Twitter account News For All.

It tweeted: “UK government figures believe the publication of a US government report on UFOs due next month could become one of the stories of the century.”

The account cited a Politico Playbook post on rumours circulating in Whitehall about the report.

It said: “There are increasing rumors among well-informed government insiders that the publication of a US government report on UFOs due next month could become one of the stories of the summer, or indeed, century.”

Conservative politician Cabot Phillips reacted to the show and said he couldn’t “believe the new UFO report from the Pentagon” wasn’t bigger news.

He added: “There were so many sightings the Pentagon confirmed that they created a top secret programme to investigate UFOs.

“The USS Princeton and USS Nimitz tracked an aircraft that traveled 60 miles in 3-4 seconds, after being confronted by an F-18 fighter squadron in the Pacific.

“We’re just now finding out there have been so many sightings by our military that the Senate Intel committee is holding a public hearing next month because it’s a ‘national security threat’.”

The outspoken politician went on to claim the sighting could only be one of three things.

These were “advanced US technology being tested”, “China or some other foreign military” or its “other-worldly”, he claimed.

He then went on to warn that people should stop ridiculing anyone who brings up UFOs as being unhinged.

He said: “I know we’ve all spent years laughing at anyone who brings up UFOs, but if the US military and intelligence community is to the point where they’re calling it a national security threat, it’s probably time to take them seriously.”
