Suda51 Reveals Save Data Bonus For No More Heroes III

Suda51 Reveals Save Data Bonus For No More Heroes III

Suda51’s No More Heroes III arrives on the Nintendo Switch this August. If you’re curious to learn and see more of it before the release, there was actually one final segment featuring it during Nintendo’s Treehouse presentation.

This part of the show wasn’t aired live, and we’re guessing it’s because of the game’s rating. It means we also can’t actually show the full video here on Nintendo Life (as it’s age-restricted), so you’ll have to head on over to YouTube and log in with your Google account. The 25-minute video is hosted by Bill Trinen.

At the very end of the broadcast, Suda51 appeared – thanking Nintendo for the demonstration and informing fans they would have to wait just a little bit longer before the game could be pre-ordered. He also revealed save data from the original two games and Travis Strikes Again will carry over – unlocking a shirt from each game. Here’s a look:

Hypnospace Outlaw Gets A Neat Retro-Styled Physical Release (With A Bonus CD!)

Hypnospace Outlaw Gets A Neat Retro-Styled Physical Release (With A Bonus CD!)

The internet peaked around the year 2000, when websites were ugly-beautiful with rotating images, scrolling marquee text, and ten thousand fonts on every single page. How were you supposed to let your crush know that you were a vibrant, interesting character with a wide range of hobbies if you didn’t have them all represented in gif format, after all?

Hypnospace Outlaw is a game that reveres and satirises that late-’90s-early-’00s web aesthetic with Hypnospace, a version of the internet you can browse in your sleep. You are cast as an Enforcer, a version of Internet Police that cracks down on various Bad Things like copyright infringement, bullying, and viruses. You’ll be surfin’ the net, finding all sorts of cringey teen content alongside charming fansites, and cracking down on them all like some kind of terrible government-sanctioned party pooper. Or, perhaps, you can evade the rules somehow, you cool kid, you.

But now Hypnospace Outlaw has entered meatspace, with a physical edition made by Fangamer. The physical Switch box will also come with a bonus mini-CD with 90 minutes of audio, music, interviews, tips, and tricks, and it’s packaged as if it’s one of those CD demos that came with a cereal box, or the discs that you used to get to teach you how to use Encarta or whatever. There’s also a separate HypnOS headband, made of terrycloth, which you can order at the same time to save $ 3.

The physical edition is available for preorder for $ 34 (or $ 43 with the headband), plus shipping and other costs, and will ship out after the 24th September. Also coming soon is the Hypnospace Outlaw vinyl soundtrack, which is also retro, but in a different way, featuring music from Jay Tholen, Hot Dad, Dan Warren, queenjazz, and Brian Carnrike.

Did you love Hypnospace Outlaw, or did it make you feel ancient? Let us know in the comments, grandpa.

PS Plus Free Games update: Sony reveal surprise PS4 bonus for June

PS Plus Free Games update: Sony reveal surprise PS4 bonus for June
PlayStation Plus subscribers have plenty to choose from during June 2021, but they might not have known about another PS4 bonus.

As part of the release of Capcom Arcade Stadium, Capcom has made it possible to download Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins as part of the free bundle.

This isn’t the new Resurrection version of the game being released next month, but the classic Goblins adventure which proved so tough to beat.

Ghosts ‘N Goblins can be found on the PlayStation Store and downloaded for free until June 2, so gamers will need to claim it quickly.

It should also be noted that you will need to download Capcom Arcade Stadium to play Ghost ‘N Goblins, which makes for a bit of a convoluted process.

Capcom confirms the deal on its official website, adding: “For a limited time, players of the PlayStation®4/Xbox One/Steam versions of Capcom Arcade Stadium will have special access to Capcom Arcade Stadium: Ghosts ‘n Goblins!

“PlayStation Plus members can get the game for free, while Xbox One and Steam players can purchase it at 50% off. Download the free base game to play.

“With Ghosts ‘n Goblins: Resurrection coming to PlayStation®4/Xbox One/Steam on June 1st, why not take advantage of this chance to play the original in Capcom Arcade Stadium? Ghouls ‘n Ghosts is also available in the title DLC packs.”

Interestingly, this is a deal that ends just after the next PS Plus free games are added to the PlayStation Store next week.

But if you manage to download at no extra charge before the end date, you’ll have another game to play during June.

The other games available during June 2021 will be released on Tuesday, June 1, and include the following titles:

Operation: Tango

Team up to save the world in this cooperative spy adventure, challenging you and a friend to join up online** to complete dangerous missions across the globe in a high-tech near-future world. Combine skill sets from different points of view – playing either Hacker or Agent – to overcome asymmetrical challenges, working in tandem with only your voice to link you. Teamwork is crucial, and communication is key! Note: Operation: Tango requires both players to have access to a working microphone.

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown

Sega’s iconic one-on-one battler gets remade for a new generation by Yakuza and Judgment developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. This console exclusive debuts on PlayStation Plus, allowing both VF veterans and newcomers to experience the intense martial arts combat, deep strategy, and intricately balanced gameplay of the groundbreaking 3D fighter in stunning HD. New online features – like custom tournaments supporting up to 16 players and live spectating – join classic modes like Rank Match, Arcade, and VF5’s famously robust Training to deliver the definitive Virtua Fighter experience.

Star Wars: Squadrons

Master the art of starfighter combat in frenetic multiplayer space dogfights, and learn what it means to be a pilot in a thrilling Star Wars single-player story set after the events of Return of the Jedi and seen from alternating perspectives of two factions. The New Republic fights for freedom. The Empire demands order. Take control of iconic craft such as the X-wing and TIE fighter, customize loadouts and cosmetics, divert power between weapons, shields and engines while immersing yourself in the cockpit. You’ll also have the option to play the entirety of the game in virtual reality on PS VR!

Savings: People aged 18 to 50 can get £1,000 bonus a year but some over 40 aren't eligible

Savings: People aged 18 to 50 can get £1,000 bonus a year but some over 40 aren't eligible
Help to Save is one type of savings scheme, which is intended for people who are on a low income, and it offers a 50 percent Government bonus on the savings. Meanwhile, the Lifetime ISA offers a generous 25 percent bonus from the Government.
As such, savers who have opened the account before their 40th birthday can continue to save in the account and hence be eligible for the bonus for another decade – until they turn 50.

Once a person turns 50, it’s no longer possible to pay into the Lifetime ISA, or earn the 25 percent bonus.

However, the account will remain open, and savings will still earn interest or investment returns.

To open and pay into a Lifetime ISA, the person must be resident in the UK, unless they’re a crown servant, or their spouse or civil partner.

DON’T MISS

So, how does the Lifetime ISA bonus work?

Those who save in their Lifetime ISA will see the Government then add a 25 percent bonus to their savings within it.

This is up to a maximum of £1,000 per tax year.

It’s also important to remember this £4,000 Lifetime ISA limit counts towards the annual ISA allowance – which is £20,000 for the 2021 to 2022 tax year.

As the Lifetime ISA is intended to save either for a first home or for later life, there are rules when it comes to withdrawing the money.

If money is withdrawn and it doesn’t meet one of the below circumstances, a penalty charge will apply.

GOV.UK explains: “You can withdraw money from your ISA if you’re:

  • Buying your first home
  • Aged 60 or over
  • Terminally ill, with less than 12 months to live.

“You’ll pay a withdrawal charge of 25 percent if you withdraw cash or assets for any other reason (also known as making an unauthorised withdrawal).”

This recovers the Government bonus received on the original savings, and the amount available to take out is less than what was put in.

Last year, the Government temporarily reduced the charge to 20 percent in response to the coronavirus pandemic, meaning a reduced withdrawal charge of 20 percent applied from March 6, 2020 to April 5, 2021.

If a person is using the money to buy their first home, to ensure the “unauthorised withdrawal” charge doesn’t apply, the following must apply:

  • The property costs £450,000 or less
  • The property is bought at least 12 months after making the first payment into the Lifetime ISA
  • The buyer uses a conveyancer or solicitor to act for them in the purchase – the ISA provider will pay the funds directly to them
  • The property is bought with a mortgage.

Links Expansion Pass Bonus Gear In Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity

One of last year’s highlights on the Nintendo Switch was Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – a Musou spin-off set 100 years before the main entry, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

In case you’ve forgotten, this June will see the release of the first wave of expansion content for the Age of Calamity. In an effort to drum up some excitement for next month’s arrival, the game’s Japanese Twitter account has shared a “first look” at the game’s special purchase bonus.

As you can see in the Twitter post below, it’s Link equipped with ancient armour and the ancient sword:

These items will be made available to players next week on 28th May, and the first wave of content is scheduled to arrive before the end of June.

This follows on from the game being re-rated in Australia back in March this year. Here’s the full schedule:

PS5 update: Download a surprise PlayStation 4 game bonus today

PS5 console owners only have a limited pool of exclusives to play, with plenty of cross-gen titles planned for May and beyond.

And this week has seen a surprise new demo released before the full game is launched on a number of platforms.

The downside is that this next game demo is only available for a limited time and only offers a snippet of gameplay.

It makes for an enticing package for anyone who wants to see what the new Resident Evil Village experience will be like.

Resident Evil 7 was a massive success for Capcom, and while it didn’t smash any sales goals during its launch year, it remains a well-regarded release.

And Resident Evil Village is set to take some of the strongest elements from the last game, complete with the same protagonist.

However, while Ethan is returning, there are a lot of other elements that will be familiar to Resi fans, with Chris Redfield set to play a bigger role.

This week’s Resident Evil Village demo is already available in the United States, with European gamers set to follow today.

This weekend’s demo focuses on the Castle location, with Capcom telling fans this week:

“In Resident Evil 7 biohazard, our main focus was creating something claustrophobic with a lot of depth. With Resident Evil Village, we wanted to use what we learned as a foundation to build upon and create something expansive with more variety.

“The juxtaposition within Castle Dimitrescu, between the well-lit halls of the upper floors and the cold dark chambers down below, is just a small example of the different kinds of environment Ethan Winters will find himself in as he desperately searches for his daughter Rose.

“Not only will he find himself in a wider variety of environments this time around, but he’ll also have a bigger arsenal of weaponry at his disposal as well.

“It’s all up to you to strategize and figure out what works best in every new environment and situation that you find yourself in.

“For those of you who have the pleasure of trying out our game on PS5, I’d also like to draw attention to some additional features.

“On PS5, you’ll have an extra level of immersion as you walk through the environments with 3D audio surrounding them, high-fidelity graphics using ray tracing, and adaptive triggers to help you feel the extra weight of the weapons as well.”

The Resident Evil Castle Demo will be available to play for 30-minutes on April 24 in the United States, at 5pm PST.

And then the same demo will be available to play in the UK on April 25, at 6pm BST on the same consoles.

Capcom has confirmed that all platforms will be getting access to the two combined Resident Evil demos on May 1 in the United States and May 2 in the UK.

The Resident Evil Demo start time has been set for 5pm PST in the US and 1am BST in the UK.

The final demo period will give you a total of 60 minutes to explore both the village and castle, and you’re free to use those 60 minutes however you wish.

Man Utd's Champions League bonus money sparks Ronaldo swap deal rumours

Manchester United are looking to splash the cash on Cristiano Ronaldo now that they’ve all but secured Champions League football next season, according to sensational reports from Italy.

The Red Devils beat Tottenham[1] 3-1 last time out and are now nine points clear of Chelsea[2] in fifth with seven games left to play.

Barring anything going drastically wrong, Man United will finish in the top four, meaning extra money will be made available to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the summer transfer window.

And this is where things get interesting, according to Calciomercato, via Sport Witness.[3]

The publication claims that Man United are considering a transfer for former player Ronaldo, who has not ruled out returning to Old Trafford one day in the future.

The deal could reportedly include Paul Pogba going in the opposite direction and signing for Juventus.[4]

Super agent Mino Raiola announced last year that his client, Pogba, was unhappy at Old Trafford and looking to leave – perhaps as soon as that January transfer window.

He name-dropped Pogba’s former team, Juventus,[5] as being a possible suitor for good measure.

Raiola’s announcement came on the eve of Manchester United’s Champions League defeat by RB Leipzig, which is said to have left Solskjaer infuriated.

Pogba was going through a difficult period at the time, but has since turned things around at Man United[6] and is in the form of his life for the Red Devils.

It is not yet clear if he still wants to leave at the end of the season, or whether he will commit himself to United.

PS5 update: Download a surprise PlayStation game bonus TODAY

PS5 update: Download a surprise PlayStation game bonus TODAY
PS5 console owners are slowly getting new games upgraded from the PS4, as well as brand new exclusives added regularly each month.

Some are big names, while others are indie hits waiting to make a big ripple on next-gen consoles.

And this month has seen a surprise new demo released before a full version of the game is launched on PS4 and PS5 consoles.

What makes this latest addition a little unique is that the new demo will be running until the full game hits the PlayStation Store.

And not only can fans download it now, but they can keep much of their built up experience for launch day in April.

So if you’re looking for something new to check out, it might be worth downloading Outriders on PS5.

A new IP from Square Enix, Outriders is a cover shooter that has already started to build a fanbase.

And while the new demo is by no means perfect, it does provide plenty of scope for the development team to improve things.

The past week has seen gamers put Outriders through its paces and the rules have been laid out by Square Enix.

You don’t need to pre-order Outriders or register your interest via an email address; Outriders can be found easily on the PS Store.

The Outriders Demo is set to remain available for the foreseeable future, unlike most betas that come and go before a full release date.

The Outriders Demo features the first full chapter, allowing gamers to explore much like other free episodes on the PS4 and PS5.

This includes the early story and tutorials, as well as the remaining mechanics that are introduced in the game.

And the big one for those who are enjoying themselves is that the Outriders carries over to the full game.

That means your character and progress will all be waiting for you in the main game, as well as another big freebie.

If you end up buying Outriders on PS4 and then move over to the PS5, you’ll be able to unlock the next-gen version for free.

It makes it the perfect time to check out the new PS5 demo, as the full game won’t be released until April 1, 2021.

A message from the Outriders team lays out more of the features available as part of the new demo, telling gamers this week:

“All four classes in the game – Trickster, Pyromancer, Devastator, and Technomancer – are available for you to play in the demo. We encourage you to experiment and find your perfect class.

“Will you be a fire-flinging tank capable of soaking up hits as you immolate your enemies? Or will you be a DPS-Devastator jumping into the fray to cause maximum mayhem in the mob? Mix and match abilities, give them a test-run and find what suits you.

“Eventually, you’ll find the class that speaks to you – and when you do, you can start co-op.

“Not only is this the first time you’ll be able to hop into the world of Enoch, but you can also do so with the help of your friends! Outriders supports three-player teams, letting you tackle missions, explore the world and progress through the story together.

“You can find a matchmaking terminal in your camp if you’re looking for squadmates.”

Full cross-play between all compatible platforms is enabled during the demo period, meaning you can play with your friends on different platforms for the length of the three-hour demo and beyond.
