Naga Munchetty shares cryptic post about getting older and 'seeing through people'

Naga Munchetty, 46, shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story on Thursday. After sharing a quote posted by Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore, the TV star left much to the imagination as to whether she was OK.

The quote read: “Funny thing about getting older.

“Your eyesight starts getting weaker, but your ability to see through people gets much better.”

Fans were only able to send Naga a direct message about the post and it is unknown if she has replied, and whether there was someone in particular that the quote was in reference to.

It comes after the BBC Breakfast star treated her followers to a very sweaty snap of her upon completion of her daily run.

It comes after a report revealed that all women will now be given the option to have pain relief if they have coils, also known as the IUD (intrauterine device), fitted.

It works as soon as it is put in and lasts between five and 10 years depending on the type.

Following the news, a fan took to Twitter to notify Naga of the story and thanked her for speaking out.

They wrote: “Important change in coil guidance thanks to @TVNaga01, @caitlinmoran and @bbc5live.”

Donald Trump savaged on Twitter over cryptic statement – ‘Sad form of communication’

Donald Trump savaged on Twitter over cryptic statement – ‘Sad form of communication’

The former US President has once again become the target of criticism on Twitter after issuing a statement containing only three words. Mr Trump, who exited the White House at the beginning of the year, wrote: “1776, not 1619!”

The statement appears to be a reference to the New York Times’ “1619 Project”.

The project seeks to “reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of our national narrative.”

In a speech made during Sunday’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Mr Trump said he intended to ban critical race theory.

He said: “We will completely defund and bar critical race theory. 1776, not 1619, if you don’t mind.

“And if government run schools are going to teach children to hate their country, we will demand school choice that we already have.

“If you listen to the media or watch the evening newscast, our country has really gone bad.

“All we talk about is race. That’s all they talk about. Race. The whole show – race, race.”

Mr Trump no longer has access to his Twitter account after the social media giant banned him following the Capitol Hill riot over concerns he would incite further violence.

However, one social media user shared the 45th President’s statement, prompting scathing replies from his critics.

One person said: “Is he having some sort of mental breakdown?”

Another user added: “Such a sad form of communication.”

A third commenter wrote: “Why doesn’t he just tweet this out… Oh wait lol. Now I remember.”

Some theorised the short statement could be Mr Trump’s covert way of inciting an insurrection among his supporters.

Avengers: Hugh Jackman ‘teases Wolverine RETURN’ in cryptic Kevin Feige photo

Avengers: Hugh Jackman 'teases Wolverine RETURN' in cryptic Kevin Feige photo

Hugh Jackman is the embodiment of Wolverine. The X-Men character enjoyed three X-Men films with Fox, before going on to appear in the three-follow-up movies in a separate timeline. Jackman then finished off the iconic Marvel character’s journey in some solo films, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Wolverine and Logan. Although the latter movie killed off Jackman’s version of the character, his return may be right around the corner, bringing him face-to-face with the Avengers.

Jackman recently posted a slew of clues on his Instagram account this week.

The Aussie actor started by reposting some concept art of Wolverine’s arm from renowned artist Bosslogic.

The star, who has not mentioned Wolverine since his version died in 2017, then followed up with another photo.

He posted a snap of himself with his arm around Marvel Cinematic Universe maestro Kevin Feige – the orchestrator of the entire MCU timeline.

Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine changed even the comic book version of the hero, so his presence in the MCU would be huge for fans of the franchise.

What’s more, considering Fox – and its various X-Men films – was recently purchased by Disney, the previous version of Logan could indeed be brought into the ongoing MCU.

He could be an entirely new version of the character or a revival of the previously deceased hero.

According to noted leaker Grace Randolph, Feige has been looking to bring Jackman back onto the scene for some time.

What do you think?

Should Hugh Jackman join the MCU as Wolverine?

Jackman said: “The Avengers would prove too much to turn down.

“I always love the idea of him [Wolverine] within that dynamic, with the Hulk obviously, with Iron Man but there are a lot of smarter people with MBAs who can’t figure that out [laughter].”

He added: “You never know. At the moment, honestly, if I really did have them there, I probably wouldn’t have said this is the last [about Logan].”

Jackman then spoke about Logan being the last time he would play Wolverine, adding: “It just feels like this is the right time.”

Although Jackman would have once wanted to get involved with both Iron Man and Hulk, these characters are no longer what they once were.

Has Logan lost his chance of joining up with the Avengers are they once were?

The X-Men and Wolverine films are available on Disney Plus.

Bitcoin price tanks after cryptic ‘break up’ post by Elon Musk – 'death cross' fears

Bitcoin price tanks after cryptic ‘break up’ post by Elon Musk - 'death cross' fears

Bitcoin nosedived by several percent following the eccentric billionaire’s latest social media post, which suggested he was cutting off ties to the virtual coin. On Friday morning, Mr Musk posted a meme which implied he was going through a ‘break up’ with Bitcoin.

The meme depicted a couple breaking up over excessive quoting of Linkin Park lyrics.

Mr Musk shared the meme with the caption: “#Bitcoin” and an emoji depicting a broken heart.

Bitcoin tanked from this week’s price high of $ 39,000 to a little under $ 36,000 in a matter of hours afterwards.

Ethereum and Dogecoin also took a dive as a result of Mr Musk’s musings.

Ethereum dropped from $ 2,866 to $ 2,566 in a similar pattern to its main rival, Bitcoin, with the popular coins mimicking each other in price drops and surges.

Similarly, Dogecoin’s price followed suit with drops and surges but had more volatile reactions.

The recent price drop follows a warning from a prominent cryptocurrency trader who predicted the world’s most popular virtual coin could be plunging towards a “death cross”.

Crypto trading and analyst company, Rekt Capital, said the economic death knell event could occur by the middle of this month unless Bitcoin’s price increases soon.

“The Death Cross occurs with some lag. So by the time it happens – a lot of downside will have already happened.”

Now looking at current data, they said: “BTC is potentially on the cusp of a new Death Cross soon.

“If BTC doesn’t increase in its price soon and the EMAs [exponential moving averages] continue at the same current pace…The Death Cross could happen sooner in mid-June 2021.”

Elon Musk makes dramatic U-TURN on cryptocurrency – cryptic tweet sends stock flying

Elon Musk makes dramatic U-TURN on cryptocurrency – cryptic tweet sends stock flying
Announcing today on Twitter the Tesla boss suggested he would support cryptocurrencies over fiat currencies. This u-turn comes after the SpaceX CEO sent out contradictory messages for over a week that began with a declaration that Tesla would be halting their acceptance of bitcoin as a payment method. On Twitter this morning, Mr Musk said: “The true battle is between fiat and crypto.
“On balance, I support the latter.”

Mr Musk was responding to a Twitter follower who said: “Yo Elon what do you think about the peeps who are angry at you because of crypto?”

This was in reference to the recent contradictory tweets from Mr Musk that have brought such volatility to cryptocurrency markets.

Over one week ago Mr Musk tweeted a statement that read: “Tesla has suspended vehicle purchases using bitcoin.

Mr Musk answered the tweet by simply saying, “indeed”.

However, now  Mr Musk has retracted these earlier statements.

Mr Musk then came out with a swift clarification to end speculation that Tesla might dump their bitcoin holdings.

He tweeted:”To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any bitcoin.”

Then there Elon Musk tweeted a “diamond hands” emoji amid bitcoin drop, implying that Tesla won’t sell their large holdings of the world’s preeminent cryptocurrency.

In a tweet on Wednesday morning, Mr Musk said that Tesla had “diamond hands” suggesting the company he heads would not be shedding its $ 1.5 billion (£1.06 billion) stake in bitcoin.

The head of Tesla also tweeted: “How much is that Doge in the window?”

In this tweet he attached a cryptic image of a US dollar bill that had been manipulated to look like it had a doge coin face on it.

Taylor Swift’s Fans Attempt To Decode ‘Easter Eggs’ From Her Cryptic Interview With Stephen Colbert

Taylor Swift’s Fans Attempt To Decode ‘Easter Eggs’ From Her Cryptic Interview With Stephen Colbert

Fans went to work after Taylor Swift dropped mysterious numbers, New York references, song names and more ‘Easter eggs’ during her interview with Stephen Colbert. They came to one conclusion.

Fans are convinced that Taylor Swift dropped “Easter eggs” left and right during her interview with Stephen Colbert that aired on April 13. From cryptic numbers to tongue-in-cheek references to throwback songs, fans don’t think the 31-year-old pop star was simply being quirky during her Tuesday night appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert that seemed more like a planned skit than an interview. Fans think these supposed clues added up to one conclusion, too, which we’ll reveal after breaking down all these Easter eggs.

The interview begins with Stephen cheekily asking if Taylor’s song, “Hey Stephen,” is about the late night television host. It was a relevant question, since the singer just re-recorded the song (along with all of the other tracks on her 2008 album Fearless) for Fearless (Taylor’s Version), which came out on April 9. Taylor dropped what appeared to be her first clue when she replied, “No, Stephen…I mean I first recorded that song in 2008. I think I was like 18…I mean, you were probably about 44 years, 179 days old, give and or take several hours.”

Stephen said that’s “shockingly specific,” to which Taylor said in a deadpan voice, “Like i said, I’m a big fan.” So much so, the singer revealed that she sent a signed CD to Stephen’s office: “513 West 54th Street, New York, New York, 10019 2nd Floor Office, Facing the street.” Another clue?

The next major clue appeared to be her Stephen-inspired mood board, which Taylor joked that she made for “three days” to get her back “in the same headspace” that she was in while writing “Hey Stephen” in 2008. Taylor stressed that the mood board wasn’t just plastered with various photos of the talk show host over the years by pointing out the giant pizza in the corner. Fans had a lot to say about the pizza, which we’ll get to.

Taylor then started making references to 1989, her album from 2014. “‘Hey Stephen’ is not about you, anymore than my album 1989 is about that year you spent waiting tables on the lunch shift at Scoozi, an Italian restaurant in the river north area of Chicago, that by the way serves a really incredible slice of pizza,” Taylor said. Again with the pizza! With that said, a fan — among others — pointed out that “there are 5 pieces of pepperoni on the pizza and 1989 is her fifth album.” The pizza also appeared to be “New York-style,” another fan pointed, and one of Taylor’s 1989 songs is called “Welcome To New York.”

Taylor assured that this is simply common knowledge for anyone who “frequently checks” Stephen’s Wikipedia page, and told him, “You Need To Calm Down.” Yup — another 1989 Easter egg! She then jokingly revealed who “Hey Stephen” is really about: horror author Stephen King. “The Dark Tower series changed my life, plus The Shining, The Stand, and don’t even get me started on his short stories…absolutely luminescent,” she said. Well, one fan did their research and tweeted that the author’s short story collection called Dark Visions (similar in name to Dark Tower) came out in 1989.

Taylor then said that if she had really wrote the song about Stephen (the Colbert one), it would’ve went like, “Hey Stephen I love you on the TV, and all the stuff you did on The Daily Show and that time you were on Law & Order, your 5’11”, your middle name is Tyrone. Social security number is 33035.” Again with the numbers — fans pointed out the social security number adds up to 14, as you can see in the tweet below.

Taylor left fans with one last apparent clue: another song name from 1989. “Take the feeling that you’re feeling and just ‘Shake It Off,’ right? But that song is about you.” On top of all this, Taylor was wearing a cardigan for the interview (the name of her hit 2020 song from folklore).

Of course, this led fans to believe that Taylor’s next re-recorded album will be 1989 — they just don’t know when, if true. “Not Normal People (swifties): taylor is releasing 1989 in may bc there was a seagull on the poster and she said 33035179 which adds up to 31 which is 13 backwards and 31 days from now is may 14,” one fan teased. Many others seemed to think that Taylor’s next project is arriving May 14th as well, but there were all kinds of theories on Twitter (we shared some popular ones above). One fan combined all the Easter eggs in one tweet, which you can see below:

Taylor is on a mission to re-record her first six albums, after leaving her masters behind when she parted ways with Big Machine Records (formerly owned by Scott Borchetta) in 2018. Taylor currently does not own all her music, despite writing and recording the dozens of songs herself; Taylor’s lawyer, Donald Passman, alleged that Scott “never gave Taylor Swift an opportunity to purchase her masters, or the label, outright with a check in the way he is now apparently doing for others,” per a statement given to HollywoodLife in July of 2019.

“For years, I asked, pleaded for a chance to own my work,” Taylor explained in a Tumblr post in June of 2019. She added, “Instead, I was given an opportunity to sign back up to Big Machine Records and ‘earn’ one album back at a time, one for every new one I turned in.” Taylor’s nemesis, Scooter Braun, went on to acquire the rights to her masters that summer after his Ithaca Holdings LLC company acquired Big Machine Label Group from Scott. Scooter then sold the recording rights to Taylor’s first six albums to an investment firm called Shamrock Capital in Nov. 2020, according to The New York Times. Amid all this music drama, fans have rallied alongside Taylor and sworn to only listen to her re-recorded albums (which is exactly why they’re so excited for the new 1989 to drop, whenever it does).

Although, let’s also not forget that May regularly collaborates with other artists from X Factor’s Talia Dean and We Will Rock You’s Kerry Ellis to fellow guitarist Arielle.

Whatever the case, the 73-year-old’s fans have been responding to the cryptic post in the comments.

One fan wrote, “Bri — what is going on here”, while another responded, “To say I’m confused is an understatement.”

Interestingly, Talia commented with the same emoji which was likes over 700 times, so maybe it’s a new project with her?

Piers Morgan thanks Sharon Osbourne for her support in cryptic post about 'fake friends'

Piers Morgan thanks Sharon Osbourne for her support in cryptic post about 'fake friends'

A spokesperson said: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.

“ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”

Piers said of his exit today: “I had a good chat with ITV and we agreed to disagree. I’m just going to take it easy and see how we go.

“I believe in freedom of speech, I believe in the right to be allowed to have an opinion. If people want to believe Meghan Markle, that’s entirely their right.

“I don’t believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth and I think the damage she’s done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible.”

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp issues Mohamed Salah statement after cryptic tweet from agent

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp issues Mohamed Salah statement after cryptic tweet from agent
Mohamed Salah’s agent sparked a frenzy among Liverpool fans on Thursday night after posting a cryptic tweet around the time his client was substituted against Chelsea, but Jurgen Klopp doesn’t think it’s necessary for a “proper talk” just yet. Liverpool were struggling to find a way to break down Chelsea’s defence having gone down 1-0 in the opening 45 minutes.
They looked more sharp in the second half, but Klopp’s side were still unable to trouble Edouard Mendy on too many occasions.

Klopp took the surprise decision to hook Salah off on the hour mark for Diogo Jota, with the Egypt international visibly frustrated at being taken off.

He continually shook his head in disbelief as he made his way to the bench and Salah’s agent then took to social media with a very cryptic tweet which sparked further anger among supporters.

Klopp played down the severity of the substitution immediately after the game and he still believes it’s being blown out of proportion.

When asked how he plans to ensure there is no ‘lasting problem’, Klopp said: “Talking, that’s how it always is.

“I’m not even sure if this situation is now a reason for a ‘proper talk’ about it.

“We are 1-0 down and that makes no player happy when you go off [because] you cannot react how you react in different ways.

“On top of that, you’re a striker, you think you should stay on the pitch. It’s all completely clear and not an issue, just normal life.”

Despite Liverpool’s recent troubles, Salah remains the top scorer in the Premier League with 17 goals.

Liverpool as a whole had been scoring for fun up until the end of December and were the league’s top scoring team.

But the goals have dried up since then with Liverpool going on a torrid run of form since the 7-0 demolition of Crystal Palace.

They’ve won just three of the 13 league games since that win and have lost five consecutive home matches.

Salah has only found the net on four occasions in that time, but Klopp insists everyone in the team needs to step up and rise to the challenge.

“We all have to improve, definitely,” he added.

“We only lose games when you have more potential than the results show then it’s all about performance.

“Mo has still a great goalscoring record but everybody knows and even he knows- himself that even he could have scored more goals but Mo’s scoring record is not our problem.”
