Gogglebox stars' secret daughters shown in rare family picture

Gogglebox viewers have been thrilled to see a throwback snap of a young Giles and Mary which shows them with their two young daughters – who have never been seen before.

The couple, who live in Wiltshire, have been long-standing favourites of the show, but we’ve never been given a glimpse into their family life, until now, Leeds Live reports.

The rare snap of a much younger Giles Wood and Mary Killen was posted on the Gogglebox Instagram fan page and viewers have been left wanting to see more – as well as proving popular with fans who remarked how handsome a young Giles was.

And many exclaimed shock as they didn’t realise the pair had two daughters – both now grown up and living away from home.

One fan posted: “Great pic, didn’t know they had daughters!”

A second fan, eager to see more, said: “Would love to see them all now and do they have grand kids?! Imagine them being your grandparents!”

A third added: “What a beautiful picture, I just think they are the funniest couple I enjoy watching them.”

While another said: “Brilliant picture and gorgeous family! Wouldn’t have known who this was without the caption!”

Another swooned: “Giles was good looking and Mary very pretty, what a lovely photo.”

The adorable and hilarious couple, who have been married for more than 30 years, frequently call each other the nickname ‘Nutty’ but we know very few private details of their life.

The only family member who is frequently spotted in the cottage is their dog.

One of the daughters was actually due to be partnered with Giles in the hit Channel Four show, however, she decided not to take part, but thankfully Giles managed to convince Mary to come onboard instead.

Britney Spears’ Dad Jamie Accuses Her Mom Lynne Of ‘Exploiting Their Daughter’s Pain’

Britney Spears’ Dad Jamie Accuses Her Mom Lynne Of ‘Exploiting Their Daughter’s Pain’

Britney Spears’ parents are feuding over money related to their daughter’s conservatorship. Jamie’s law firm accused Lynne of exploiting Britney’s ‘trauma’ for ‘personal profit’ with her book.

Jamie Spears, through his law firm, alleged that his ex-wife Lynne Spears — whom he shares his daughter Britney Spears with — is “the one who exploited her daughter’s pain and trauma for personal profit by publishing a book,” according to new court documents obtained by PEOPLE on April 26. This accusation was a reference to Lynne’s 2008 tell-all book about her family called Through the Storm, according to the outlet. This allegation was made as Jamie and Lynne have been feuding over financial matters related to Britney’s conservatorship.

Let’s rewind first: in July of 2020, Lynne filed documents to be part of all decisions pertaining to Britney’s finances, according to The Blast. However, Jamie has partial control of Britney’s finances as her co-conservator, along with Bessemer Trust Co. Fast forward to April 19, 2021 — Britney’s mom filed new legal documents to fight a four-month fee of $ 890,000 that the law firm representing her ex-husband, Holland & Knight, requested, according to PEOPLE.  Lynne argued that some of these fees from Jamie’s attorneys were “procedurally and substantively improper,” according to her court documents.

Lynne even accused the law firm representing Jamie of requesting compensation for services that were not “performed in good faith for the benefit” of Britney, according to the court documents from April 19 that PEOPLE obtained. Lynne also wanted Britney’s estate to be repaid $ 224,000 that was allegedly spent on the law firm’s communication with the press; she elaborated that the firm’s “unnecessary” work “largely constituted a ‘national media tour’ orchestrated by H&K to promote [Jamie’s attorney] Ms. [Vivian Lee] Thoreen and/or to combat media coverage that cast Mr. Spears in a negative light,” per Lynne’s court documents that PEOPLE reviewed.

All of these accusations led Jamie’s firm to fight back with its own documents that were mentioned above on April 26 — hence the jab about Lynne allegedly exploiting her daughter with her old memoir. Jamie’s law firm also wants the court to overrule Lynne’s objection over the $ 890,000 worth of fees; the firm accused Lynne’s objection of having “evidence bias,” according to the new court documents that PEOPLE reviewed. The law firm further argued, “Despite having zero involvement in her daughter’s conservatorship until very recently, Lynne Spears is asserting claims as if she were a party directly involved in the litigation (which she is not),” according to PEOPLE.

The law firm continued to defend Jamie. “Lynne Spears’ math of dividing the total fees by four (to calculate fees per issue) is ridiculous and belies her ignorance regarding the complex nature of the Conservatorship Estate, and the issues that needed to be addressed by H&K to properly defend Mr. Spears from specious allegations that have threatened to tarnish his reputation as a loving, caring father who has nothing to hide, has been loyal and fiercely loving toward his daughter, sought to protect her, and manage her finances so that she can live her life the way she wants,” the new court documents allegedly stated, per PEOPLE.

Britney Spears admitted under this post that she “cried for two weeks” after the documentary that put the limelight on her conservatorship drama, “Framing Britney,” aired in Feb. 2021. [Instagram/@britneyspears]

This feud between Britney’s parents is happening just weeks after their daughter requested that her temporary care manager, Jodi Montgomery, be made the permanent conservator of her “person,” according to court documents that HollywoodLife obtained on March 23. A hearing is set for April 27. Amid all this legal drama, a source close to Britney EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife at the end of March, “Britney has been doing really well despite the constant battle over her conservatorship. She is doing everything she can to focus on her health and Sam is 100% behind her daily routine and workouts.”

Adam Levine Wears A Dress In Adorable New Family Photo With Wife & Daughters: ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’

Adam Levine Wears A Dress In Adorable New Family Photo With Wife & Daughters: ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’

Adam Levine is one committed girl dad. He wore a tie dyed sundress, matching his two daughters and wife in a new family portrait.

Adam Levine[1] has an all-female household, with model wife Behati Prinsloo[2] and their adorable daughters[3] Dusty Rose, 4, and Gio Grace, 3. The Maroon 5[4] frontman proved he’s totally cool playing dress up with his 32-year-old spouse and their little girls. He literally did just that on Apr. 6, sharing a family photo via Instagram where the rocker wore a tie-dyed sundress to match Behati and their daughters’ frocks in the cutest portrait! Adam captioned the photo, “girls just wanna have fun.”

The 42-year-old singer’s massive back tattoos and fully inked arm sleeves were on display thanks to the small T-back strap on the delicate maxi dress. He added just a pair of light blue trainers on his feet, as Adam held on to Dusty’s hand with one arm and Behati’s with the other. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel[5] then clasped Gio’s hand, as the four stood looking out at the grassy lawn of what appears to be their three acre, $ 32 million Pacific Palisades, CA estate.

All four matched perfectly for the family photo, with Behati wearing her sandy blonde locks pulled up into a loose pink scrunchie on top of her head. The model’s trim waist was on display, and her dress featured an off-the-shoulder look…even though two dark straps could be seen over her shoulders. Their little girls’ dresses were nearly identical[6], with Dusty wearing a pale purple long sleeve top underneath. She even seemed to be sporting a mullet hairstyle in her brunette tresses, with the sides of her hair appearing short, yet longer in the back.

The family has been incredibly protective of their young daughters, rarely showing their faces[7] on social media. When they do, it is usually with a filter or some other way to obscure their looks, as in the photo below of Behati celebrating Gio’s third birthday on Feb. 16, 2021. In the matching family sundress photo, everyone was facing away from the camera, including Adam and Behati. One thing that was visible is that Adam has returned to his usual hairstyle, after going through stages of bleaching his locks blonde[8] and even shaving his head[9]. The “Girl Like You” singer is back to having short, thick, brunette tresses.

Adam is going to be a girl dad for some time to come, as Behati is happy with the two daughters[10] they already have. When appearing on Howard Stern‘s Sirius XM Show[11] in Apr. 2020, the “Memories” singer revealed, “No, she’s not currently pregnant. I think if I asked her to have another baby right now she’d punch me in the f**king face because she’s not ready.” Adam then added, “We’re good. We’ve got two kids.”

Eva Mendes Lets Daughters Esmeralda, 6, & Amada, 4, Give Her A ‘Head-To-Toe’ Makeover & The Result Is Epic

Eva Mendes Lets Daughters Esmeralda, 6, & Amada, 4, Give Her A ‘Head-To-Toe’ Makeover & The Result Is Epic

Eva Mendes let her daughters use her face as a ‘canvas’ for (another!) beauty makeover — and it’s the best thing you’ll see all day!

Eva Mendes[1] met with her two makeup artists, daughters Esmeralda, 6, and Amada Gosling, 4, for a glam session on March 30. The Hitch[2] star, 47, showed off her finished look in a new Instagram selfie, writing, “My kids did this to me. Again. From head to toe. I guess, when in doubt, be their canvas.”

The actress proudly modeled a red lip, blue chin and rosy cheeks — courtesy of her daughters’, whom she shares with husband Ryan Gosling[3]. She donned a tall headpiece that in the photo, which included light pink, purple, and blue designs. Additionally, Eva accessorized with thin silver hoops and wore a black and white striped tank top.

This isn’t the first time the fairly private actress[4] acted as a makeup canvas for her little ones. Back in May of 2020, Eva showed off two drastic glam makeovers[5] in separate closeup selfies. The first snap, posted on May 16, displayed her bright blue eyeshadow, purple lips, and multi-colored scribbles all over her forehead.

“They’ve won,” Eva captioned the glam shot, adding a red heart emoji. The proud mom, who wore her hair back in a half-up, half-down ponytail, gave a slight smirk to the camera — evidently aware of her bold look.

Just a few weeks prior, on May 6, the actress[6] shared another selfie that showed off another post-glam session from her daughters. That time, Eva’s makeup included bright pink cheeks and a purple forehead and nose.

“I’ve lost any control I once had,” she joked in her caption, which shed a spotlight on Dine 11 Los Angeles — a non-profit is helping provide meals to people in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic[7].

More recently, Eva took to Instagram to get candid about parenting during the pandemic[8]. “Full on Mom mode,” she wrote in a lengthy caption alongside a closeup selfie, admitting, “I’ve graduated from my man’s sweats to a robe. All day. File under: stopped caring for now. (And anyone else out there go horse-like on selfie mode?)”

She continued, “These days my kids are getting my full on attention. It’s challenging for sure but they need me now more than ever. If you find yourself in a similar situation, here’s a list of parenting pages that are getting me through so thought I’d share…”

Eva began dating Ryan in 2011, after they shared the screen together in The Place Beyond the Pines.

In a post, he said: “We are devastated at the news and are left with very few options.

“We, along with the consultants have been reaching out globally in the last 24 hours to find a solution to save Azaylia’s life.”

Ashley followed up his post telling fans they had to apply for an emergency passport after finding fitting treatment for their daughter in Singapore.

He explained: “After long discussions and a global outreach for treatment, our consultants along with consultants from around the world have come to the conclusion that the ONLY option to save Azaylia’s life is to fly to Singapore for CAR-T therapy plus a haplo [haploidentical] transplant, for a minimum period of 1 year.

‘It sends a clear message that our daughters’ rights are worth fighting for’: New rules on transgender athletes passed in US state

‘It sends a clear message that our daughters’ rights are worth fighting for’: New rules on transgender athletes passed in US state

The leader of Mississippi has hailed an “important” new piece of legislation prohibiting transgender athletes from competing on women’s sports teams in high schools and universities, leaving some human rights campaigners dismayed.

Republican chief Tate Reeves said the first anti-trans legislation approved by a governor this year would “ensure that young girls in Mississippi have a fair, level playing field in public schools”, carrying out a symbolic public signing after supporters of similar bills argued that trans women have a physical advantage over athletes born as women.

Statehouses across the US, including in the Republican-governed South Dakota, are reportedly close to voting on similar laws, although the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which is the country’s largest LGBTQ rights group, has dismissed them as discriminatory.

The Mississippi House voted 81-28 to pass the bill, which orders that male students will not be allowed to compete in female sports, although it does not elaborate on how genders will be determined by law and how the likely challenges that will materialize will be addressed.

“It sends a clear message to my daughters, and all of Mississippi’s daughters, that their rights are worth fighting for,” announced Reeves after the state senate voted 34-9 in favor, although CNN countered that “trans women athletes in the state are also daughters and are precisely the ones whose rights are being targeted by the new law.”

Alphonso David, the president of HRC, said there were no examples of state transgender athletes “gaming the system” to gain an edge, adding that “none exist”.

Chase Strangio, the American Civil Liberties Union deputy director for trans justice, compared the legislation to rules that had previously seen Republicans attempt to restrict trans students from using bathrooms in line with their gender identities.

“Just like it was never about restrooms, this bill is not about sports,” he said, while David slated what he described as Reeves’ “appalling” desire to lead “the latest anti-transgender push”. “It’s about pushing trans people out of public life,” added Strangio.

In South Dakota, governor Kristi Noem said she was “excited” to seal similar legislation, explaining that it would ensure “girls’ fairness in girls’ sports.”

“We are still examining the bill, getting ready to make decisions on it,” she said by way of qualifying her remarks, according to CNN.
