Kate Ferdinand enjoys cocktails with friends on a lunch date in London four months after giving birth to baby Cree
KATE Ferdinand dressed to impress yesterday as she enjoyed a girls’ day out in London with her pals.
The 29-year-old earned some well-deserved ‘me-time’ four months after welcoming her darling son Cree and took to Instagram to document her lunch at Mayfair eatery Scott’s.
Sharing several shots from her lunch, the former Towie star looked chic in a camel-coloured turtleneck and complementing wool ankle-length coat with black wide-leg trousers.
Kate continued her glamorous appearance by working her blonde hair into a loose wave and sported a pair of oversized aviator-style shades as she posed with her two pals.
Captioning the shot, she penned: “Well overdue day out with the girls” before sharing a shot of their three cocktails.
Earlier this week, Kate revealed she is still wearing her pregnancy PJ’s four months after giving birth.
The glam star, 29, showed she was just like all new mums as she opted for comfort over style.
Sharing a picture of herself in her nightwear while feeding her son Cree, she wrote: “Monday morning feed and cuddles.
“Still wearing my pregnancy pjs. They are so big and comfy, I just love them.”
Kate has won praise from her fans for being so honest about her journey into motherhood after welcoming a son with Rio Ferdinand.
She has shared the highs and the lows with her followers – even discussing how she feels about her body now.
Shortly after Cree was born, she admitted she didn’t love her post baby figure.
She candidly wrote: “Ahhh 😨 … nerves kicking in again, but here goes. Let’s talk post pregnancy body 🤰🏼.
“I’ve really held off on uploading any pictures with my body in because last time I did, for some reason, I felt all types of nerves and ended up deleting it … hormones, or the pressure of Instagram to look a certain way?
“Who knows, but either way, I’ve finally plucked up the courage. Here I am.
“I’m finally starting to slowly feel more like ‘me’ again, but it hasn’t been plain sailing.
“I was seeing lots of ladies, and I salute you, saying they love and embrace their post pregnancy body; I wish I felt like that but in all honesty … I love that my body produced our baby BUT quite frankly, I don’t love my post baby body. I miss feeling fit & strong!”
But is seems Kate is feeling more and more like herself as she looked happy and healthy as she went out for drinks this weekend – for the first time in a year.
Why does Keith Lemon wear a bandage on his hand?
For the occasion, the blonde beauty teamed a nude bodysuit with an oversized green blazer and matching bottoms.
The new mum captioned the post: “First night out in what feels like forever so of course that warrants a photo shoot right? 🙊📸 …
“In fact the last time I went out and had a drink was March 2020 😮🤣 Wish me luck … 🍹❤️🍴🥰”
Kate Ferdinand on motherhood, struggles, and being transparent online
Kate Middleton and Prince William are both senior working members of the Royal Family which means they must adhere to and follow certain parenting techniques. However, the Duke and Duchess have also been known to step away from traditional rules and implement their own.
Kate joined the Royal Family in 2011 when she married Prince William in Westminster Abbey.
The couple had met previously while studying at university.
Since then, they have had three royal children, Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two.
The children are regularly seen with their parents for royal engagements although this has been paused due to the pandemic.

Sophie explained: “Having multiple children is difficult, as any parent of two or more will attest to.
“You can’t meet all their needs at once and there is always a time when all three need you and you only have two hands.
“It seems as if Kate is coping admirably with the joys and strains that three children bring – as well as any mum in her position would.
“Kate and William could have easily hired more staff to help with childcare but chose to keep just one nanny, showing that Kate enjoys playing an active and present role in the lives of her three children.”
The Duchess will often be seen showing affection towards her children in public and has a huge interest in early years education.
Last year, she launched a campaign which encouragedparents across the country to answer questions on what they thought on early years education.
This might mean that she likes being involved in bringing up George, Charlotte and Louis because she knows how important their early years are.
The expert added: “Kate is a very involved mum and clearly wants to influence the way in which her children are raised, how they are educated and the morals that they will value.
“Employing just one nanny, rather than a team, means that Kate can be actively involved in her children’s upbringing while still having help and support with day-to-day childcare.”
Due to the pandemic, the royal children have been kept out of the spotlight for several months.
The last time they were seen as a family of five was back in December when they attended a special pantomime performance.
Sophie explained: “Keeping children out of the spotlight will never be a negative thing.
“Children in the public eye have to deal with so much more than others the same age and allowing them time away from cameras and public appearances means that they have the opportunity to be normal children.”

Larsa Pippenis enjoying some family time! The gorgeous former Real Housewives of Miami star, 46, took to Instagram on March 27 to share a happy snap with her sons Scotty Jr., 20, and Preston, 19. The trio were dining at Miami hotspot Swan, as the model and former Kardashian bestie relocated to Florida for the winter. She kept it simple in her caption, dropping a black heart emoji. “So big and so cute!!!!” one fan commented, while hundreds of others noted how much they looked like their dad, Scottie Pippen. The Real Housewives of Miamialum also accessorized with a pair of black sandals, dark sunglasses, and a black tote bag. Her teenage daughter opted for a pair of high waisted daisy duke shorts, and a white graphic tee featuring a print of a dragon.
The same week, Larsa took to her Instagram Story, revealing she was “still thinking about” returning for the fourth season of Bravo’s RHOM. A source told HL that, “Larsa’s attorney advised her it wouldn’t be a good idea [to return to the show], but she’s still thinking about it. She knows it comes with great financial gain, so she’s still on the fence.” The Real Housewives of Miami ran for three seasons between 2011 and 2013, with Larsa appearing in the main cast alongside Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria and Marysol Patton.
