Harry Maguire and Jordan Pickford’s WAGs travel to Wembley in party bus for England game

England WAGs are already out in full force ahead of tonight’s Euro 2020 match against Denmark. Hours before the semi-final, the partners of two England players Harry Maguire, 28, and Jordan Pickford, 27, took to social media to reveal that they were travelling to Wembley Stadium in style.

Not ones to shy away from making an entrance, Megan Davison, 25, and Fern Hawkins, 26, took to Instagram to document their journey to London.

In view of her 56,700 Instagram followers, Jordan’s wife revealed that she was travelling in an extravagantly decorated party bus.

Showing off the huge space which had been lit up with red lights, the star panned around the vehicle which had been decorated appropriately with England balloons, cushions and cowboy hats with St George’s flag on.

Featuring football anthem Three Lions playing through the sound system, Megan enjoyed the long trip from Cheshire to London to support her beau and his team.

Making a stop before getting underway with the journey, Meghan picked up close friend Fern, who is engaged to Jordan’s teammate Harry.

“On the way for my princess @_fernhawkins Wembley here we come,” she captioned the short clip.

In the next snap Meghan showed off red and white balloons with her spouse’s last name on as well as the England football logo.

“On my way @pickford1,” Megan tagged the picture.

Fern penned: “Missing you so much @harrymaguire93 thank you for the most beautiful flowers. Happy 10 years my love.”

In April 2019 the couple welcomed their first daughter Lillie Saint Maguire, before having Piper Rose Maguire last May.

Despite not travelling on the party bus, Harry’s sister Daisy showed her support for her brother by taking snaps from inside the Wembley Hilton Hotel.

The blonde uploaded a snap to her stories of herself enjoying breakfast in bed.

Denmark goal vs England ‘shouldn’t have stood’ as FIFA Laws of the Game prove

Mikkel Damsgaard handed Denmark a shock lead against England in their Euro 2020 semi-final with a stunning free kick, but the goal should not have stood, according to FIFA’s Laws of the Game.

The midfielder struck a wonderful effort from 30 yards after Mason Mount had conceded a foul outside the penalty area.

The ball flew over the England wall and beyond goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. The Everton shot-stopper received some criticism by commentators and pundits for not stopping the effort, which went in slightly left-of-centre of the goal.

But Denmark appeared to breach FIFA’s rule book in the build up to Damsgaard stepping up.

Attacking players are not meant to be within a yard of the defensive wall until the ball is struck and is back in play.

Denmark set up a three-man wall just next to England’s. However, they moved closer to the Three Lions players just before the ball was struck.

The incident was noticed by Twitter user David Mooney, who quoted a section from FIFA’s Laws of the Game.

“Where three or more defending team players form a ‘wall,” they say, “all attacking team players must remain at least 1m (1 yrd) from the ‘wall’ until the ball is in play.”

England had set up a five-man wall, which included Kalvin Phillips lying on the ground to prevent a low shot.

Declan Rice, John Stones, Harry Maguire and Harry Kane were the players attempting to block Damsgaard’s kick.

But Damsgaard’s strike was excellent and it would have felt incredibly harsh to rule it out.

Gareth Southgate’s side had started nervously but equalised just before half-time.

Bukayo Saka’s cross was turned into his own net by Denmark defender Simon Kjaer.

“Most definitely [Pickford should have done better].

“We feared the worst when they lined up.

“The goal was coming, Denmark were getting through us far too easily, it’s a long way out and I always think if the ball goes in the corner there’s no problem. The ball goes in the centre of the net, and the goalkeeper has to do better.

“His big problem is that ultimately he’s blocked, he doesn’t see it until late, then he goes late himself.

“But he has to get in a position where he can go earlier, it’s right above him and he’ll be really disappointed.”

Switchblade Explodes into Action Alongside New Game Modes in the Latest Rogue Company Update

Rogue Company’s newest rogue, Switchblade, is a short fuse in a leather jacket, cutting a fiery swath through those who oppose her. On the run and hunted since a young age, Switchblade has become content with the solace of being alone. She’s self-taught and very lethal; a master of survival and combat. Don’t bring a knife to a gunfight; bring napalm instead! Use Switchblade’s Chaos Launcher to drop a cluster of napalm to devastate your enemies and force them out of defensive positions.

“Breachers in Rogue Company are designed to break through enemy defenses to initiate an offensive push,” explains Rogue Company’s Lead Designer Scott Lussier. “With Switchblade, we are designing a breacher who is able to punish enemies that are fortified on power positions. Throughout the iteration phase, we discovered that in order for Switchblade to achieve our design goals she needs to have a passive that allows her to follow up on her ability. Switchblade’s passive is called Fight and Flight. Whenever she uses an ability, or a gadget, she gains a burst of movement speed which enables her to close the gap on the enemy team. This passive allows her to truly excel at punishing enemies who are hunkered down in strong defensive positions throughout the map.”

Paul takes over as Suns dominate in Game 1

Chris Paul went scoreless in the first quarter of his NBA Finals debut but exploded for 16 in the third quarter and 32 points overall to lead the Phoenix Suns to a commanding 118-105 home victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1.

However, he wasn’t the only debutant to impress on Tuesday night, during the Suns’ first Finals game since 1993.

Devin Booker scored 27 points to go with six rebounds and three assists while Deandre Ayton had another dominant night at center, scoring 22 and snatching down a game-high 19 rebounds.

Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was a surprise late starter after suffering from a hyperextended left knee in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals, finished with 20 points and 17 rebounds in 35 minutes after missing the last two games. Khris Middleton had 29 points and Brook Lopez scored 17.

Paul, who was playing in his first Finals game in his 16th NBA season, scored 10 of Phoenix’s 12 points in a 2:35 stretch late in the third quarter to increase the 74-62 score into an 86-68 advantage.

The ‘Point God’ took over what had been a relatively tight encounter to that point, scoring 16 in the period as the Suns took a decisive 16-point lead into the final period.

The Bucks cut the deficit to 101-94 on a basket by Antetokounmpo with 7:16 to go, briefly spurting into life after coach Mike Budenholzer moved his star player to the five position. The momentum didn’t last as Booker and Paul responded with back-to-back baskets for the Suns to stem the side.

Milwaukee never got closer than nine the rest of the way.

Appearing inspired by Antetokounmpo’s return, the Bucks took a 20-18 lead with 3:37 remaining in the first quarter. A 3-pointer by the impressive Cameron Johnson seven seconds later gave the Suns a 21-20 advantage, and they never trailed again, leading 30-26 at the end of one quarter and 57-49 at halftime.

Mikal Bridges ended the night with 14 points while Johnson and Cameron Payne had 10 each for the Suns. Phoenix starting forward Jae Crowder, the only player on either team with NBA Finals experience, scored one point and was 0-for-8 from the field.

Even so, Crowder was a team-high +19 in plus/minus and produced a number of impressive stops on the defensive end, repeatedly putting his body on the line to take fearless charge calls on Antetokounmpo as he rampaged to the basket.

Booker, who led the Suns in scoring during the regular season, didn’t have his best shooting night, going 8-21 (38.1 per cent) from the floor and just 1-8 (12.5 per cent) from beyond the arc. On the other hand, Paul was relentless with his scoring, hitting 12-19 (63.2 per cent) of his field goals and 4-7 (57.1 per cent) on his three-point attempts.

The Suns shot 32.4 per cent (11-34) from distance overall while the Bucks were at 44.4 per cent (16-36).

Jrue Holiday

Jrue Holiday compiled 10 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for the Bucks, who were just 9 of 16 on foul shots. Antetokounmpo was 7 of 12 on his free throws as a cacophonous Phoenix crowd counted down his every trip to the foul line.

In contrast, the Suns made 25 of 26 free throws – hitting every shot from the line until the final minute of the contest.

The only downside for the Suns on what proved to be a near-perfect start to the Finals was a knee injury sustained by their backup center Dario Saric in the first quarter. He hobbled to the locker room and didn’t return for the remainder of the game.

Game 2 of the best-of-seven series is on Thursday night, once again at the Phoenix Suns Arena before the teams head to Milwaukee on Sunday night.

PS5 Restock UK: Game PS5 stock release countdown, with Amazon and Argos next

The next major PS5 stock drop is expected to happen on Thursday, July 8, with thousands of consoles possibly releasing simultaneously.

That’s the latest news from leading stock tracker accounts, with new predictions also being made for Argos and Amazon UK for later in July.

From what has been shared so far, GAME will be the next UK retailer to offer buying options.

Like most of the information shared, this comes as a prediction from a third-party source, meaning it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

But based on the track record from the likes of PS5 Stock Alert on Twitter, it will be worth being ready on July 8.

A message shared by PS5 Stock Alert on Twitter reads: “GAME has confirmed a new date for the PlayStation 5.

“If you select Priority Insured delivery, your order will be shipped by the 14th July, all other delivery methods will be shipped by the 21st July. We expect GAME to go live 8th July.”

So anyone hoping to buy a console this week should be prepared on Thursday, starting at 8am BST.

Other options are also expected to be available this week, including buying PlayStation 5 consoles in-store.

The best thing to do will be to check out your local GAME stores on Twitter or by calling them directly to see if they have any plans for stock this week.

Both Argos and Amazon UK have been connected to stock drops in July; however, they will not be ready to offer any shipments this week.

Instead, Argos is expected to release its stock around July 16, with PS5 Stock Alert UK suggesting that it will have another 10,000 units to sell.

Some of these will be shared with other regions, and it’s unclear if more will be switched between online and in-store.

And it should be noted that Amazon isn’t expected to do the same until around July 14.

Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth finding out how each retailer handles its shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out. More stock is expected during July.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. The next PS5 stock update is expected to start in early July.

Disappointed with Games with Gold? Xbox Game Pass has new July games

While there were no Xbox Series X games included in this month’s Games with Gold lineup, the same can’t be said for Xbox Game Pass.

The rival subscription service from Microsoft has been ramping up its offering, and July could be the perfect month to drop Games with Gold and try Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

While it costs more, it also comes with more benefits and has constantly offered more titles to play each month than Games with Gold.

And July will be no different, with a total of six new games coming to Xbox Game Pass over the coming weeks.

Disappointed Games with Gold subscribers who might have lost interest should check out what is being offered.

The end of this week will see the launch of three new games, and you will need to have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate access them all.

Tropico 6 will be available to play on July 6 across console, cloud and PC platforms, meaning everyone can download and play.

Meanwhile, Dragon Quest Builders 2 will also be available to play via the Microsoft Cloud streaming service.

UFC 4 is also coming to EA Play on the same date, and that will be another game to play if you have Ultimate.

As many will already know, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate allows gamers to access and play a library of games Xbox, PC and Mobile platforms.

This accessibility was recently expanded to allow Xbox Cloud streaming on Windows 10 PCs and Apple phones and tablets, on Xbox.com.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is also now powered by custom Xbox Series X hardware, which means faster load times and improved frame rates.

Ultimate subscribers can head over to xbox.com/play on Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Safari on their PC or mobile device to start playing.

The second half of July will also contain some notable additions for Xbox Game Pass, including the launch of Bloodroots, Farming Simulator 19 and The Medium.

All three games are coming to the Cloud platform, meaning access to an Xbox Series X exclusive on your phone or browser.

It should also be noted that A Plague Tale has just recently upgraded for Xbox Series X and is currently available on Game Pass.

So there will be the games to check out this week if you’re planning on switching from Games with Gold:

A Plague Tale: Innocence Series X|S Update – Available now

Fully vaccinated amber list travellers could avoid quarantine on return – ‘game changing’

However, many wondered how will this be feasible with COVID-19 cases going up in the UK.

“Johnson said he’d look to end quarantine for doubled jabbed people arriving from amber list countries.

“But if cases DO go up could it thwart it all for you on your return?!”

In addition to the changes to the lockdown rules on July 19, Mr Johnson also announced that the Government is taking steps to get more people fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 as quickly as possible.
