Goodbye Windows 10! Microsoft to reveal Windows 11 tomorrow but fans already hate it

Microsoft will say a fond farewell to Windows 10 tomorrow as it ushers in its all-new Windows 11 upgrade. The Redmond firm is expected to reveal all during a major keynote with a leak already confirming that Windows 11 will be the star of the show. As spotted by the team at Windows Latest it appears that Microsft accidentally published a new support document showing the Windows 11 name.

We also know that that Microsoft is officially ending support for Windows 10 in 2025 which clearly shows it’s being replaced by something new.

Full details will be revealed in just over 24 hours and this upgrade may come as a bit of a shock to some who thought that Window 10 was here for good. In fact, it may have even surprised some at Microsoft with the firm saying back in 2015 that Windows 10 would be its final operating system.

We’ll have to wait and see exactly what new features are included in Windows 11 but early leaks, showing how things will look, certainly haven’t gone down well with Windows 10 fans.

Numerous people have managed to get hold of Windows 11 early with videos, posted on Twitter, showing off its new look. The upgrade appears to feature a refreshed design with an updated start menu, soft round corners on boxes, a change to the desktop pattern and even a brand-new sound when users boot up their PC.

Since the leaks began, millions have viewed the clips and many don’t seem all that enthralled with what could be coming to their PCs.

“This….. is just garbage design,” said one user. Whilst another added: “I don’t get it, why, what’s the point, why call it 11? We all know it’s just Windows 10 under there and all the legacy code of the past 30 years. I don’t understand the need for rounded corners when 98% of screens have hard corners.”

Other Windows 10 users are venting their frustration at losing their current software with one saying: “Wasn’t Windows 10 supposed to be the last version? Wasn’t it pitched as a live service that Microsoft was going to update forever? Am I misremembering things?”

A large number of the complaints revolve around Microsoft appearing to move the famous Start Menu from the side to the middle of the screen.

This has left some scratching their heads at the decision with one user tweeting, “I’m not understanding why you’d move the start button to the middle when it’s been in the lower corner for literally the past 3 decades.”

Another user added: “Move the start to the middle of the taskbar and call it windows 11, what kind of joke is this?”

One Windows fan blasted all of the upcoming changes and promised to skip Windows 11 completely, “Any details on when Windows 12 is being released? Because I’m definitely skipping this one…if I wanted us use something that looks like MacOS then I’d buy a Mac; not this half-baked imitation.”

Of course, the early leaks may not give a real indication of what is to come from Microsoft and Express.co.uk will bring you all of the news from frirm’s showcase tomorrow watch this space.

Things will kick off at 4pm BST with Microsoft live streaming the showcase on the web with the firm currently teasing, “Join us to see what’s next for Windows.”

Goodbye to a Yankee Farmer, the Ghost of Exit 8

By 9 a.m., all that remained of the tree was six thick feet of trunk, as bare as a thumb.

When the crew ran chain saws all the way through the trunk — it measured 40 inches in diameter — nothing happened. The maple stood impassively.

They pounded felling wedges into the split, looped a line around the tree and began to tighten it. Then they backed up to a safe distance, and, with a creak and a thud, what remained of the Tenney tree came down. It rolled once, kicked forward by the force of its own falling weight, before coming to rest.

The last few spectators dispersed to the warmth of their cars.

Ms. Bearse took a branch to work with her to put in a jar of water, on the off chance that it would bloom. The Tenney relatives, now scattered across the country, had asked for pieces of the wood. Mr. Fuller went home empty-handed, thinking about all the things that were gone and would never come back.

A few days later, the town sent an employee to groom the space for the Romaine Tenney Memorial Park, a grassy lawn with a pavilion, a memorial plaque and a picnic table, funded with a $ 30,000 grant from the Vermont Agency of Transportation.

The job went to Steve Smith, who brought his excavator over from his house, on part of the old Tenney property.

Mr. Smith had been 8 the year Mr. Tenney died. His father was the superintendent for that section of the highway, and he used to tell stories about resistance from local landowners, including one farmer who shot a hole through a surveyor’s hard hat. That was his father’s world, the blasting and the crusher plants and the workers out all night, greasing equipment.

But when Mr. Smith, now 64, stood on the spot where the Tenney tree had been, he found himself unable to give the order to remove the stump.

Khloe Kardashian Says ‘Goodbye’ To Tristan Thompson’s Cleveland Home As She Packs Up

Khloe Kardashian said her final farewell BF Tristan Thompson’s Cleveland home, as they moved out for good now that he’s a Boston Celtic.

With  Tristan Thompson,[1] 29 leaving his longtime NBA team the Cleveland Cavaliers in Dec. 2020 to play for the Boston Celtics[2], he put his home on Lake Erie on the market for $ 3.25 million. That means he and girlfriend Khloe Kardashian[3] have slowly been moving their belongings out of the lakeside mansion in the town of Bratenahl, which he has owned since 2015. Now the 36-year-old reality star is getting emotional about leaving[4] the home once and for all, as she had moved in with Tristan[5] in late 2016, while keeping her Calabasas estate[6]. Khloe took fans on an Instagram stories tour of the nearly empty house on Mar. 26.

“I am in Cleveland packing up[7] the Cleveland house, and this will be goodbye,” Khloé said in the first video. She showed off part of the living room with wide windows that looked out onto Lake Erie, as well as a sliding door to an outdoor wooden deck. “I will miss this place, this view so much. There’s literally nothing like it. It’s so gorgeous. Cleveland I am going to miss you,” she continued, looking down at the green grassy lawn next to the water.

Khloe gave birth[8] to the couple’s two-year-old daughter True Thompson[9] in Cleveland on Apr. 12, 2018, and the home is where the little girl spent her first few months of life. So it was no wonder that when Khloe got to True’s nearly empty upstairs bedroom that she became sentimental.

“This is my baby’s room[10]! I mean she’s not a baby anymore, she’s going to be three in a couple weeks…but this is Miss True’s room,” Khloe explained as she showed off the room with pale pink walls, off white carpet, and a gorgeous star-shaped chandelier. Just a soft-pink bed frame and small white bedside table remained.

“Everything is packed up and we just have a couple things furniture wise. But her closet is completely empty,” Khloe narrated while showing off True’s huge walk-in closet. She is a Kardashian after all and already has a designer wardrobe[11] to die for. “This bed we’re taking,” Khloe noted before moving towards the window just above the headboard.

“I mean this view has always been one of my favorites. It’s just so serene and beautiful to look out at that lake,” Khloe shared as she pointed the camera out to show the light rolling waves of Lake Erie. “What a beautiful, beautiful place for the next family to enjoy and love. This room is one of my favorites. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. And this is where be brought True home[12] for the first couple months of her life. This was my little bubble up here,” Khloe confessed.

She then moved on to show off True’s bathroom, which was covered white wallpaper featuring a pattern of soft pink flamingos. “And then her bathroom. I tried to copy my bathroom in Calabasas that I did for her so I copied the same wallpaper which I love so much” Khloe said as she moved her bright green manicured fingers across the wall. “So yeah, still packing. Still getting my sh*t together. But basically it’s pretty much done up here. All the memories….” Khloe said with a sigh. Hopefully she’ll be able to find the same comfort if Tristan decides to put down permanent roots with a Boston mansion[13].
