Jasmine says her integrity is “really important” and she tries to be as frank with fans as possible online.

The property expert shared: “It was scary to share that post, but my integrity is really important to me, and when I read some of the comments on it, I was in tears.

“I was absolutely… I thought everyone is so nice and a lot of people said it really helped them.

“It’s really hard because it’s ingrained into you from a very young age, to have insecurities, about your body and about yourself.

“I’m sure a lot of people who don’t look the way society tells them to be who have managed to find ways to be really positive about their bodies and loving and accepting themselves, but I’m not there yet,” she admitted.

“We still have a lot of people who are really keen to go, so obviously it has to be done in all of the guidelines.”

“It’s not only our rules that we have to adhere to for the UK but also wherever we’re going to.

“So at the moment we’re allowed to film for work but nobody is letting us in, because we’re out of the EU now, it’s a whole different set of rules,” she added.

Jasmine shared how it has been tough to travel at the moment due to both the UK’s exit from the EU and the restrictions in place to stop the rapid spread of COVID-19.

She continued: “We can’t go anywhere at the moment, but as soon as the borders open up again we will be back out filming, with all of our filming protocols in place.

“I’m looking forward to going back to work, I’ve really missed it because it’s been part of my life for the last 17 years.

“It really plays a big part in how I identify myself, it’s a big part of my identity.”

A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman was feeling rather emotional this morning. The 45-year-old TV star said she was almost in tears as she made her way home from a Zumba class following the relaxation of lockdown rules regarding outdoor exercise classes.
The mum-of-two admitted that she was overcome with emotion for two reasons.

Reuniting with friends from the class that she hadn’t had any contact with in almost a year was the first reason.

However, the workout had also made Jasmine realise that her fitness levels had dipped following lockdown.

Delighted to be able to leave the house to attend a class, the teary presenter took to Instagram to document her trip.

“It’s actually hard to describe how excited I was to just go to my first class back at David Lloyd. And I’m trying to work out why,” she told fans, as she sat in her car following the dance class.

“I was literally nearly in tears as I walked into the class and I saw loads of the people that I haven’t seen for a year.

“And I think it’s because we’ve been so deprived of human contact over the last year that I felt emotional.

“But also because, doing the class, I realised how far I have to go to get myself back to any sort of semblance of fitness,” she went on to add.

“That was the best class I’ve done in a year,” Jasmine told her instructor.

“Probably the only one I’ve done in a year to be fair, that’s actually in person,” she went on to quip.

“I’m so happy now,” she later added before noting that the timing of gyms reopening was not ideal for her.

Jasmine, who shares daughter Joy, and son Albion, with her husband Jon Boast, pointed out that it was now the Easter holidays, so her children would be off school again.

However, the determined Channel 4 host said she hoped to return later in the week.

Her trip to the gym comes almost two months after Jasmine admitted that she was finding lockdown hard and had been emotionally eating and drinking.

She said she was struggling to keep her head above water and had not found time to exercise in a social media update.

The presenter shared a before and after picture of herself online, which showcased her recent weight gain.

As lockdown restrictions begin to lift, life can start to return to normal.

Indoor leisure facilitates, such as gyms and swimming pools, are scheduled to re-open on April 12.
