About Weed Lounge

Weed Cellars is the first of its kind. No other alcohol brand in the world spans all alcohol categories including wine, spirits and beer. The Weed Cellars portfolio comprises eight wine varietals, two beer categories and a high-scoring, award-winning straight bourbon whiskey.

Theirs is certainly an irreverent name, evoking a considerable amount of attention and a lot of questions like, “Do the wines contain THC or CBD?”. The answer is “No”. None of Weed Cellars products contain any version of cannabis whatsoever. The name reflects the changing times, however, as consumers gravitate to more risqué marques and dynamic branding.

With the Weed Cellars brand rapidly growing in popularity, they quickly found out that our multi-layered property located in the heart of West Hollywood was the perfect backdrop for celebrations of all kinds. The Weed Lounge was born. Originally intended to be their corporate headquarters, hey quickly found out that their urban oasis made the perfect backdrop for celebrations. A complete remodel revealed concrete floors, original exposed wood rafters, and a sprawling patio area and winery tasting room making it the perfect spot to host events, shoots & gatherings. Several areas can be customized and designed to suit the needs of any production.

The Weed Lounge family enjoys hosting unique events such as, photo or film shoots, brand activations, wellness retreats, conferences, launch parties, restaurant or retail pop-ups, high-end dinners, corporate retreats, gift lounges, gallery openings, fashion shows, music videos, company parties, design fairs, and of course, private events like weddings and birthdays! Luxury Tesla used by Prince Charles goes on sale for £82,000

One careful owner: Luxury Tesla used by Prince Charles with 7,000 miles on the clock goes on sale… but it’ll cost you a king’s ransom at £82,000

  • Six-month Tesla Model S is on the market for £82,500 despite Royal pedigree
  • It was loaned by Tesla to Charles’ household to try out green mode of transport

It is believed that Charles loved the car so much that he got the loan period extended before handing it back to Tesla

A top-of-the range electric-powered Tesla that was used by Prince Charles has gone on the market.

The six-month-old Tesla Model S with just 7,000 miles on the clock is on the market for £82,500 with no special premium added for its Royal pedigree.

It is believed that it was loaned by Tesla to Charles’ household to try out as an environmentally form of transport in addition to his electric Jaguar I-Pace.

Charles who has long been known for his green views was seen being chauffeured around several times in the midnight silver coloured motor which has a top speed of 155mph.

It is believed that he loved the car so much that he got the loan period extended before handing it back to Tesla.

The car which has a range of 405 miles, and can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 3.1 seconds was recently bought by webuysupercars.com.

It is now being sold by luxury car dealers Castle Motors who only refer in the small print on their website to it having been used by Charles.

The car is expected to be snapped up soon because anyone ordering a new Tesla Model S in the UK today is not expected to get delivery until the end of next year.

It has come on the market less than two months after a Ford Escort Ghia 1.6 saloon bought by Charles as an engagement present for Princess Diana was sold at auction for £52,640

It has come on the market less than two months after a Ford Escort Ghia 1.6 saloon bought by Charles as an engagement present for Princess Diana was sold at auction for £52,640.

A Range Rover used by Prince William and wife Kate was also auctioned in May for £50,625 – more than £10,000 over its pre-sale estimate and double its value without a Royal link.

Dale Flood, a director of Castle Motors based in Liskeard, Cornwall, described the Tesla Model S as ‘a phenomenal piece of kit.’

He added: ‘We have sold quite a few cars belonging to celebrities in the past, but not so many which have been used by the Royal family.

‘I have been told that Prince Charles used it from new. It has an exceptionally long range for an electric vehicle. We are a family business that has been going for 48 years and we are always keen to sell interesting cars.

‘We have not increased the price because of its Royal connections. In fact, we didn’t even mention that it had a Royal link when we first put it on our website, but then we decided to mention it very briefly.’

Phil Corker, the head of purchasing at webuysupercars.com, said: ‘We bought the Tesla that Prince Charles had been using for the last few months through a tip off from a contact at Tesla.

‘We visited Windsor Castle to get some photos of the car and to promote the backstory of the its previous usage. We didn’t collect from Prince Charles himself.

‘We did speak to the staff and security personnel there who allowed us to take some photos of the car in the grounds.

‘Of course the previous usage makes the car more interesting and so being allowed to take photos of it at Windsor was important to us.

‘The key element of this in my mind is to highlight the positive move to electric car usage, and maybe make a point that politicians making the policy that’s driving the uptake should be seen to be using them themselves.

‘We’re guessing Prince Charles will get a full electric Range Rover as and when that’s available as that’s the manufacturer they have the strongest association with and of course it’s seen as a British brand and made in Britain.’

Charles was first spotted in the Tesla Model S in February this year when he was visiting his father Prince Philip at the King Edward VII Hospital in London.

The prince has long been a fan of green energy and took delivery of his £60,000 Jaguar I-Pace in 2018.

He also had his gas guzzling convertible 51-year-old Aston Martin DB6 Volante sports car converted in 2008 to run on an alternative bioethanol ‘green’ fuel made from English wine and whey from cheese making.

The high octane blended fuel known as E85 and containing just 15% unleaded petrol is said to actually have improved the performance of the classic car, making it even more powerful.

Prince William and Kate drove the car – decorated with ribbons and balloons – from Buckingham Palace to Clarence House on their wedding day in 2011 after they married in Westminster Abbey.

Charles who has championed environmental concerns for decades reportedly first had a test drive in a Tesla in 2016 on his Scottish estate in Ayrshire.

He was shown around the car by Kimbal Musk, the brother of Tesla chief executive and Silicon Valley magnate Elon Musk, who sits on the board of the American car company.

The Prince was said to have personally hosted Mr Musk and his fiancée over several days at Dumfries House.

Princess Diana was often seen at the wheel of her old Ford Escort which she was given by Charles in May 1981, two months before they married

It became well known when she took it to watch Charles play polo, but she sold it soon after giving birth to Prince William in 1982 and it was later bought for £6,000 by an antiques dealer.

It later belonged to a royal fan for around 20 years, who drove it only sparingly without disclosing its history to her friends.

The car with its original registration, paint and upholstery was bought by a museum in South America in an online auction by Reeman Dansie Auctions, of Colchester, Essex.

Focus: Health and safety protocols promoted in Los Cabos, Mexico’s top luxury travel destination

Health and safety protocols promoted in Los Cabos, Mexico’s top luxury travel destination

Los Cabos was one of the first tourist destinations to open up to tourists amid the COVIDD-19 pandemic and will continue to welcome guests with the same warmth and hospitality it has always done. It accommodates breathtaking sceneries, sandy beaches, along with landmarks and historical sights. The demand for travel is the strongest it’s ever been in the past couple of months, so nonstop flights have been added to the Los Cabos International Airport. Those seeking a much-needed escape this summer are fortunate. Visitors to the Baja California Peninsula will be able to use a new service from Los Cabos Airport Transportation, a renowned airport shuttle business. Visitors are encouraged to make arrangements for their trip online.

Many laud Los Cabos’s due diligence in travel safety
Interestingly enough, Los Cabos has succeeded in gaining recognition from the World Travel & Tourism Council, which works together with governments to raise awareness about the travel and tourism industry. Presently, the focus is on making sure that people are and feel safe when they travel, even if the sector can’t guarantee complete safety. The Los Cabos Tourism Board has implemented stringent health and safety measures in an effort to protect both visitors and locals, while also minimizing the economic impact and reducing business closures. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Los Cabos has adopted several measures to protect the public health, including demanding visitors to complete a health questionnaire prior to their departure.

In what follows, we’ll outline some of the measures implemented by the Los Cabos Tourism Board.

• Creating health and safety guidelines in harmony with health authorities
• Developing a layered approach strengthening cleaning, hygiene, physical distancing, and the use of PPE
• Implementing health screening protocols at the airport and port
• Working together with travel providers to get a Clean Point certification
• Enabling a flexible reservation policy for travelers
• Facilitating communication between local authorities and hotels, suppliers, etc.

The meticulous implementation of health and safety protocols has played an important role in Los Cabos’ travel recovery. Although it might take some time for the vaccine passport to become part of the new normal, those flying locally or internationally pay close attention to regulations and plan accordingly.

Latest travel advice and entry requirements
At present, Mexico doesn’t require a negative COVID-19 test for entry. Nonetheless, as mentioned earlier in this article, it’s necessary to fill out a health questionnaire online and provide a few personal details. When reaching the end of the 4 sections of the quiz, a QR code for personal use and green/yellow sign are generated. If the QR code is green, the person can access the security check at the airport without delay. On the contrary, if the QR code is yellow, it will be necessary to report to the security filter and be subjected to an in-person examination by a doctor. Attention needs to be paid to the fact that temperature checks are widely conducted at the airport.

Visitors to Los Cabos can leverage some of the best travel deals, not to mention that they have ample time to plan their schedules. Those who might have concerns or further questions about traveling ought to reach out to a qualified travel advisor who can address these issues. Travelers can enjoy budget-friendly options when it comes to flying to Los Cabos. They just need to be willing to carry out a search. There’s no reason to be paranoid, yet it’s recommended to be aware and prepared.

Caravans and motorhomes are a higher target for thieves than supercars and luxury models

They said some caravans without tracking devices were rarely recovered as identity markers were removed.

Data shows just a handful of drivers have trackers installed in their cars with many failing to install basic alarms.

Shaun Carse, Trackershop Managing Director said caravans were an “attractive body for thieves”.

He said: “High spec caravans can cost up to £35,000, whilst top of the range motorhomes sell for £80,000+ – making them an attractive booty for thieves.

Houston Galleria crime: Woman accused of renting luxury cars used in violent robberies, murder

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Houston police have charged a Baytown woman in connection to several violent crimes that targeted people shopping and eating in the Galleria area.

Sarah Seay, 30, is charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. She is accused of conspiring to commit aggravated robbery. During one robbery, one man was killed.

“These are egregious allegations in this warrant,” a hearing officer told Seay, who is 7-months pregnant, in court Friday night.

Her bond was set at $ 50,000.

According to court documents, Seay used the Turo app to rent cars that two brothers – one of whom is the father of her children – used to rob people of hundreds of thousands of dollars in jewelry, cash and other items.

Seay rented Cadillacs, an Audi and a Mercedes so that they would blend in when following victims home, according to investigators.

Court records tie those rentals to at least four armed robberies dating back to May 7 and one fatal shooting along Lester Street on May 27. Josh Sandoval, 28, was the victim.

“You’re speaking to a family that is in shock,” said Ashley Prince, Sandoval’s cousin.

His family gathered by video conference Friday night to talk about the loss and also what police call “jugging crimes” that have disrupted so many people’s lives.

“He wasn’t a stranger to no one. That was the type of person he was. He just enjoyed life,” said his mother, Glinda Martin.

His family gathered by video conference Friday night to talk about the loss and also what police call “jugging crimes” that have disrupted so many people’s lives. Houston police have been chipping away at the violent robbery crews with undercover operations and surveillance.

In Seay’s case, the detective reviewed rental agreements and vehicle tracking to learn that the cars that were used were at both her apartment and the victims’ locations, court records stated.

“This just a bigger part of what’s going on in Houston,” said Omar Sandoval, Josh’s brother. “So many deaths in Houston. It is ridiculous. My brother is a statistic.”

Investigators tell ABC13 they are focused on catching these violent robbers.

Seay is part of the puzzle and more people are expected to be charged.

“If these girls are helping these guys, they need to go to jail, just like they do,” said Queena Simmons, a family friend.

Josh’s family await a murder charge.

“I held his hand in the hospital and I told him we’re going to find justice,” his sister, Aimee Castillo said.

Hotel secrets: How luxury hotels make sure guests are not disturbed by air

The Corinthia, next to Trafalgar Square in London, is one of the most expensive hotels in the UK. They take care of every single detail and make sure their guests’ stay is as comfortable as possible, but how do they assure they will have a good night sleep?

Falconer Phillip Huzzey explained: “I clean all the pigeons and all the seagulls off the building.

“Customers pay good money for their rooms and they don’t want the cooing sound of the pigeons in the morning.

“They don’t want the seagulls making a sound either,” explained the professional falconer.

The Corinthia not only wants to avoid the annoying cooing that might disturb their guests’ sleep in the morning but the very unpleasant situation birds can cause.

DON’T MISS

“When they walk out of the hotel they don’t want defecation on them.

“Some people say is luck, I say that is quite unlucky,” said the falconer.

Pigeons are probably people’s least favourite bird, and their cooing the most annoying sound.

The hotel has Phillip, a professional falconer, that heads to the roof of the building every morning to clean the air.

He always brings a falcon with him and after inspecting the sky, the falcon flies above the building to chase any flying creature.

Falcons are known to strike immediate fear into pigeons when airborne.

They are capable of covering large areas in a single session and are extremely effective at clearing large sites.

When the pair have got rid of all the unwanted birds, they head down and give the thumbs up to the manager.

Everything is now ready to welcome the VIP guests.

The hotel also revealed to have multiple entrances and to choose the right one for the right guest.

Many celebrities and European royals stay in the Corinthia, and they usually like to go incognito.

After the air cleaning, their stay will for sure be a safe one and their sleep won’t be disturbed by a sound, not even by chirping birds.

Faraday Future signs Velodyne as exclusive lidar supplier for luxury EV

Faraday Future signs Velodyne as exclusive lidar supplier for luxury EV© Reuters. Faraday Future’s luxury electric car FF91 is seen at the company’s headquarters in Gardena

(Reuters) – Faraday Future has selected Velodyne Lidar Inc as an exclusive supplier for its flagship luxury electric car FF 91, which is due to be launched next year, the sensor maker said on Thursday.

Lidar, which stands for light detection and ranging, is a remote sensing system that generates a three-dimensional map of the road ahead for vehicles and also helps with applications such as augmented reality in smart devices.

San Jose, California-based Velodyne, an early entrant into the lidar market, said Faraday’s FF 91 cars would use the Velarray H800 lidar sensors to power their autonomous driving system.

The deal comes days after the sensor maker signed a multi-year sales agreement with Silicon Valley self-driving startup Gatik, to use its lidar technology in on-road transportation networks.

Faraday Future, which agreed to be taken public by the blank-check firm Property Solutions Acquisition Corp in January, initially planned to launch its FF 91 car in 2019. However, it faced multiple production delays owing to financing issues.

The Los Angeles-based electric vehicle maker now plans to launch the FF 91 within 12 months of closing its merger with Property Solutions.

UFC superstar Khamzat Chimaev ‘crashes luxury Mercedes gifted to him by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov’ (VIDEO)

Author: RT
This post originally appeared on RT Sport News

Purported footage has emerged of a damaged Mercedes said to belong to rising UFC star Khamzat Chimaev, with the Chechen-born fighter reportedly escaping unscathed after crashing the car in the capital city of Grozny.

Unbeaten promotion newcomer Chimaev posed with his Mercedes, which appeared to be identical to the one in the crash, earlier in the day, wishing his Instagram following of more than 2.4 million good morning in a post tagged in Chechnya.

A Chechen news account later posted the video of a car with its front badly damaged from an apparent collision with a barrier, showing a crowd of people and what looked like emergency services in attendance.

“Khamzat Chimaev had an accident yesterday,” the caption to the clip said, accruing thousands of views. “Khamzat himself was not injured.”

Kadyrov was reported to have given Chimaev’s Mercedes to him when the pair met in January, making a similar gesture to his gift to former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who he gave another Mercedes to after the Russian legend beat Conor McGregor in 2018.

Chimaev has had a testing year, seeing his scheduled fight with Leon Edwards called off as ‘Borz’ battled to overcome a bout of Covid-19.

Despite starting his UFC career with three wins in less than two months last year, his illness has halted Chimaev’s rapid progress towards a title shot and even caused him to court thoughts of retirement.

The 26-year-old posted a message saying that he felt he was “done” with MMA in March, although UFC president Dana White moved swiftly to scotch talk of the man he had tipped for the top dispensing with the sport, dismissing his words as “super-emotional”.

Kadyrov then announced that he had persuaded Chimaev not to call it a day on behalf of “millions of fans in Russia”.

“Khamzat said that the recovery from illness is slow and, trying to be honest and frank with the fans, he decided not to give them hope,” Kadyrov explained at the time.

“If fans need to wait for his return, then we will all look forward to his entry into the octagon with trepidation and patience.”
