Finally, Nintendo Officially Unveils The Switch OLED Model, The ‘Switch Pro’ We’ve Been Expecting

After years of rumours and speculation, Nintendo has finally lifted the lid on its revised and upgraded Switch system. Introducing the Nintendo Switch OLED Model, launching on October 8 (the same day as Metroid Dread).

The new system will feature a larger 7-inch OLED screen (the standard console has a 6.2-inch LCD screen), a new wider kick stand, enhanced audio through new in-built speakers, a LAN port in the dock, and 64GB of internal storage (double the 32GB of the standard model). It also comes in a fetching new colour variant, as you can see above.

Here are the full details from Nintendo’s official PR:

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) has a similar overall size to the Nintendo Switch system, but with a larger, vibrant 7-inch OLED screen with vivid colors and crisp contrast. Nintendo Switch (OLED model) also features a wide adjustable stand for tabletop mode, a new dock with a wired LAN port, 64GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio for handheld and tabletop play. Just like Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch (OLED model) allows players to play on the TV and share the detachable Joy-Con controllers for right-out-of-the-box multiplayer fun. And just like both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, with Nintendo Switch (OLED model), the system can be taken on the go to enjoy its play-anywhere versatility. A carrying case and screen protector set for Nintendo Switch (OLED model) will also be available.

“The new Nintendo Switch (OLED model) is a great option for players who want to experience the new vibrant screen when playing in handheld and tabletop mode,” said Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser. “With the addition of this new model to the Nintendo Switch family of systems, people have an additional choice of a system that best fits the gaming experience they desire – whether it’s Nintendo Switch (OLED model), Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite.”

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) will let players experience enhancements in all three play modes:

TV mode: Set the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) system into the dock to play Nintendo Switch games on the TV. By using the built-in wired LAN port, players can enjoy another way to connect online in TV mode.

Tabletop mode: Flip the stand on the back of the system and use the system’s screen to play multiplayer games using two Joy-Con controllers right out of the box. A wide adjustable stand makes for a solid and sturdy foundation. It allows players to freely tilt the system and adjust the viewing angle, so it makes it easier to see the screen.

Handheld mode: Players can bring the system wherever they go in handheld mode and play local or online multiplayer with friends. The system’s 7-inch OLED screen provides vivid color and crisp contrast.

When the system launches, it will come in two color options:
– Nintendo Switch (OLED model) white set, which features white Joy-Con controllers, a black main unit and a white dock.
– Nintendo Switch (OLED model) neon red/neon blue set, which features neon red and neon blue Joy-Con controllers, a black main unit and a black dock.

All previously released Joy-Con for Nintendo Switch are compatible with this new model. Additionally, Nintendo Switch (OLED model) is compatible with the full library of Nintendo Switch games.

We first heard whispers of a ‘Switch Pro’ way back in January 2019, with various sources believing such a console was just around the corner. It seems that the main upgrades here are the 7-inch OLED screen, improved speakers and a LAN port in the dock, rather than any extra horsepower.

Perhaps the huge success of the base model, the surprise of the pandemic, and any other number of factors you want to throw into the mix ended up delaying this announcement, but here we are with a brand new console on the way.

This Australian behemoth is officially the largest dinosaur on the continent

After 15 years of analysis, scientists have finally confirmed the discovery of Australia’s largest known dinosaur species.

The first remnants of Australotitan cooperensis were found in 2006 near Eromanga in southwest Queensland, Australia, by Robyn Mackenzie, a paleontologist at the Eromanga Natural History museum, on her own property. She and her husband nicknamed the then-unknown dinosaur “Cooper,” after Cooper Creek near the discovery site. They then called in collaborators to complete the excavation.

The team unearthed thousands of pounds of bones.

But just digging up the fossils wasn’t enough. The real investigation came after. Based on the bones they collected, the team suspected that this dino was a sauropod, a type of dinosaur previously found in the area (well known sauropods include the brontosaur and the brachiosaurus). But in order to identify just what species Cooper was, scientists needed to methodically compare their found bones to those of previously described species.

“It’s taken this long because it’s such a painstaking piece of work, you’ve got to take the bones out of the ground, you’ve got to prepare the fossils, and then you’ve got to study them and compare them against all other species of dinosaurs worldwide,” Queensland Museum palaeontologist and co-author of the study Scott Hocknull told Australia’s ABC News.

Rather than cart cumbersome loads of fossils around the world, the team turned to 3D scanning technology for analysis. “[It] allowed us to virtually carry thousands of kilograms of dinosaur bones in one seven kilogram laptop,” Hocknull wrote in The Conversation

Not only did the researchers find that Cooper was not a member of any previously described species, they also officially deemed the Australotitan dinosaur, or the “southern titan,” to be the largest known dinosaur to ever roam the outback. It likely weighed somewhere between 25 and 81 tons. At about 80 to 100 feet long and 16 to 21 feet tall at its hip, Australotitan is also within the top 10 to 15 largest dinosaurs in the world. For comparison, the Tyrannosaurus rex was only about 40 feet long and 12 feet tall.

With those stats, Cooper joins the ranks of the titanosaurs, a group of mega-beasts previously only discovered in South America. It lived between 92 million to 96 million years ago. The findings were published in the journal PeerJ
Mackenzie told ABC News that Australotitan was just “the tip of the iceberg” and that there are plenty of Australian sites brimming with potential for more fossil excavations. Australotitan was a plant eater, Hocknull noted, “so what was marauding around trying to eat these guys? We don’t have any evidence of that just yet.” Each discovery will help complete the story of Australia’s ancient past.

Super Nintendo World In Japan Has Officially Reopened

Super Nintendo World© Nintendo

It might seem like yesterday, but back in April, Universal Studios Japan was forced to close its doors due to the pandemic – just a month after opening Super Nintendo World.

We’re now in June, and the park has been reopened since then. It has actually been open to the public since the beginning of the month and is now operating at a reduced capacity on weekdays between the hours of 10am and 6pm.

Here’s the full statement from USJ:

Due to the State of Emergency, Universal Studios Japan has been temporarily closed since April 25, 2021. Universal Studios Japan will reopen on June 1, 2021 and will operate at a reduced capacity on weekdays only until further notice.

Universal Studios Japan will continue to implement enhanced health and safety protocols and capacity control measures while Osaka Prefecture remains under a State of Emergency and thereafter. Universal Studios Japan will encourage guests to depart the theme park at varied times to avoid congestion. Indoor dining dividers were also installed at restaurants throughout the park.

In support of Universal Studios Japan’s commitment of the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, all team members other than essential operational team members will continue to work from home.

Of course, in order to be able to visit the park, visitors will be required to wear a face mask at all times.

McCarthy Officially Backs Stefanik to Replace Cheney in House Leadership

WASHINGTON — Representative Kevin McCarthy, the minority leader, on Sunday officially endorsed Representative Elise Stefanik in her bid to oust the No. 3 House Republican, Representative Liz Cheney, who has hemorrhaged support over her repudiation of former President Donald J. Trump’s lies about election fraud.

“Yes, I do,” Mr. McCarthy told the Fox News host Maria Bartiromo when she asked whether he supported Ms. Stefanik’s push to become the Republican conference chairwoman.

“We need to be united, and that starts with leadership,” Mr. McCarthy said. “That’s why we will have a vote next week.”

The endorsement from Mr. McCarthy — who had been working behind the scenes on Ms. Stefanik’s behalf for days — came after Mr. Trump and Representative Steve Scalise of Louisiana, the No. 2 House Republican, endorsed Ms. Stefanik.

The move made clear that fealty to Mr. Trump and willingness to embrace his false claims of election fraud have become the ultimate litmus tests among Republicans for holding a leadership position in the House. Ms. Cheney, who represents Wyoming and was once considered a future speaker, has a more conservative voting record than Ms. Stefanik. But Ms. Stefanik, a fourth-term congresswoman from New York, has joined in Mr. Trump’s efforts to cast doubt on the legitimacy of President Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.

Representative Jim Banks of Indiana, the chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee, made the case against Ms. Cheney on “Fox News Sunday.”

“Right now it’s clear that she doesn’t represent the views of the majority of our conference,” Mr. Banks, who has co-sponsored legislation with Ms. Cheney opposing troop reductions in Afghanistan, told the show’s host, Chris Wallace.

Mr. Banks — who like Mr. McCarthy and Mr. Scalise joined in objections to certifying Mr. Biden’s victory — added that his split from Ms. Cheney came after she criticized a memo he had written outlining a strategy for winning working-class voters.

“Liz Cheney is the only Republican leader who attacked the memo about making the Republican Party the party of the working class,” he said.

Some House Republicans tried to oust Ms. Cheney from her leadership post in February after she voted to impeach Mr. Trump for his role in inciting the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Ms. Cheney easily turned back that challenge — winning a 145-to-61 caucus vote — after Mr. McCarthy delivered an impassioned speech in her defense.

But now it is other Republicans who are rallying to her side.

Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who voted to convict Mr. Trump in his second impeachment trial, argued that the party needed to adopt a bigger-tent philosophy in which both supporters and critics of Mr. Trump were welcome.

“You look at polls, there’s a whole group of folks that agree with Liz Cheney, and so for us to win in 2022 and 2024, we need everybody,” Mr. Cassidy said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Representative Adam Kinzinger, Republican of Illinois, pointed out that Mr. McCarthy had said Mr. Trump bore responsibility for the Capitol riot — only to later insist that others stop talking about it.

“It is incredible,” Mr. Kinzinger said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “Liz Cheney is saying exactly what Kevin McCarthy said the day of the insurrection. She has just consistently been saying it.”

“For me, I’m a conservative,” he added. “I’m going to fight for the soul of this party. But every member, not just leadership, every congressman, every state representative, every member of the party that pulls a ballot in the primary has to decide, are we going to exist on lies or exist on the truth?”

Manchester United vs Liverpool officially postponed after Glazers protests at Old Trafford

Manchester United were due to face Liverpool at 4.30pm. However, the match has now been called off after supporters stormed Old Trafford. There were chaotic scenes at the Theatre of Dreams earlier today, with Sky Sports pundits left shocked by what unfolded.
Manchester United lock horns with Liverpool looking to boost their chances of finishing second in the Premier League table.

But, before the game at Old Trafford, fans stormed the stadium.

Supporters were protesting over the Glazers’ running of the club, with the Americans under fire in the wake of their failed European Super League plot.

Some made their way onto the turf, with images and clips from social media showing large numbers inside the ground.

The stadium was then placed in lockdown – not for the first time this year.

And it’s now been confirmed the match has been officially postponed.

A Premier League statement read: “This is a collective decision from the police, both clubs, the Premier League and local authorities.

“The security and safety of everyone at Old Trafford remains of paramount importance.

“We understand and respect the strength of feeling but condemn all acts of violence, criminal damage and trespass, especially given the associated Covid-19 breaches.

“Fans have many channels by which to make their views known, but the actions of a minority seen today have no justification.

“We sympathise with the police and stewards who had to deal with a dangerous situation that should have no place in football.

“The rearrangement of the fixture will be communicated in due course.”

There was a meeting that took place behind the scenes and, with fans also taking to the Lowry Hotel to vent their feelings, it’s been put on hold.

It emerged before the fixture that United were worried about team buses being targeted, while also fearing a rescheduling of the match.

Lionel Messi’s Barcelona anger explained

And United legend Roy Keane believes things are now at a ‘tipping point’, saying: “It’s got to a tipping point now for Man United fans.

“It was peaceful, I think they threw one or two bottles and a couple of flares – I think that was towards Jamie, to be fair, but I think they’ve had enough.

“Enough is enough for these United fans now.

“United have got some of the best fans in the world, huge club, we’ve seen today that it’s come to the end now and enough is enough with the ownership of the club.

“We’ve seen over the past few weeks with the frustration at the Super League, not being able to support the club over the last year, enough is enough now and the United fans obviously want the Glazers out.”

Graeme Souness, however, thinks the protests won’t have an impact.

“I don’t think it will (have an impact),” he said. “The Glazers, since Fergie retired, have given successive managers over a billion pound to spend.

“I think it’s £719million net spend over the eight years. I think it’s born out of United not being top dogs as much as what happened last week, I think that’s another excuse to have a go at them. These are serious, serious business people, I don’t think this will impact on their thoughts. I really don’t.

“We live in a country where you can demonstrate, you can vent your feelings, you’re allowed to do it, but I still don’t see it impacting on the Glazers one little bit.

“If you think you can bring serious pressure to serious business people who live 3,000 miles away, across the Atlantic, that it will drive them to accept a discounted offer for Manchester United, that will not happen.”

Souness also feels the cancellation of the game suggests something has happened they don’t know about.

“I hope I’m wrong, it’s a big decision to call the game off, but it would suggest that something went on that we don’t know about,” he said.

“If you’ve come out today to achieve something that will be seen throughout the world, then they’ve achieved that and more with the game being postponed.

“But for the Police to say that it isn’t safe, then it would suggest that something has happened that we don’t know about.”

The Glazers apologised for their ESL actions, while Ed Woodward also addressed supporters on a fans forum meeting earlier in the week.

Woodward also said sorry, saying: “It’s clear we did not do enough of that (listening) before the Super League decision. Today is our first step towards putting that right.

“You will all have read Joel’s open letter to fans last week apologising for the Super League decision and I would like to add my personal apology to this Forum.

“I know that you will feel angry and let down by the lack of consultation and by the way the proposal failed to recognise the vital principle of open competition. Proper discussion would have helped us avoid the mistake we made.

“We fully accept that there were fundamental elements which were badly misjudged.

“We failed to give enough weight to the essential principles and traditions of sporting merit which are so vital to football not just in domestic competition but in European competition since the mid-1950s.

“We want to restate our commitment to those traditions. I can assure you that we have learned our lesson from the events of the past week and we do not seek any revival of the Super League plans.

“We will now continue working with the rest of the football community to address the long-term challenges facing the game.

“But I can assure you that we will be doing that with great sensitivity to the opinions that you and other fans have expressed in recent days.

“We will be listening closely to your feedback today, and we’ll be taking it away for consideration as we review how we can engage more effectively with you in future. Our fans are what makes Manchester United so great, and they should always be at the heart of this club.”

Solskjaer previously pleaded for fans to be peaceful with their protests.

“It’s important that the fans’ views are listened to and we communicate better,” he said.

“My job is to focus on the football side and that we have the best possible team.

“As I’ve said before I’ve been backed, I’ve had great support from the club and the owners and I’m sure I will get the backing again to go one step further.

“But I’m so happy all the clubs have agreed that this shouldn’t be the way of moving forward.

“Then again, when the protests are on, it’s important they go in a good fashion and that we keep it peaceful.”

Caitlyn Jenner officially running for California governor

Author
This post originally appeared on CBS8 – Entertainment

The reality TV star and former Olympian joins the field of candidates seeking to replace California Gov. Gavin Newsom in a likely recall election this year.

LOS ANGELES — Republican Caitlyn Jenner said Friday she will run for governor of California, injecting a jolt of celebrity into an emerging campaign that threatens to oust Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom from office.

Jenner — an Olympic hero, reality TV personality and transgender rights activist — said in statement posted on Twitter and on an accompanying website that she has filed initial paperwork to run for the post.

Newsom, a first-term Democrat, is facing a likely recall election this year, though officials are still reviewing petition signatures required to qualify the recall for the ballot. Several other Republicans have also announced plans to run.

In a statement, Jenner called herself “a proven winner” and the only candidate “who can put an end to Gavin Newsom’s disastrous time as governor.”

“I’m in,” she wrote on her website. “For the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision.”

The 71-year-old celebrity activist immediately stands out in a growing field that so far has failed to attract a nationally known contender. However, Jenner is untested as a candidate and little is known about her positions on critical issues facing the state, from the coronavirus pandemic to managing the economy.

With her fame and ability to attract publicity, she threatens to overshadow other GOP contenders,

It was notable that her announcement did not include a video, which is commonplace in political campaign kickoffs. Instead, in her written statement, she referred only vaguely to cutting taxes, a “roadmap back to prosperity” and taking on special interests.

Her campaign did not respond to a request for an on-camera interview.

She described herself as “economically conservative, socially progressive” in a People magazine interview last year. In her statement, she said she was a “compassionate disrupter.”

Her run would come nearly two decades after the ascendancy of Arnold Schwarzenegger, another Republican who used his Hollywood fame as a springboard to California’s highest office in a 2003 recall election.

If the recall qualifies for the ballot, as expected, voters would be asked two questions: first, whether Newsom should be removed from office. The second would be a list of replacement candidates to choose from, if more than 50% of voters support removing Newsom from office.

The effort largely has been fueled by criticism of Newsom’s handling of the pandemic, which shuttered schools and closed thousands of businesses.

Other Republicans who have announced their intention to run include former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, former U.S. Rep. Doug Ose and businessman John Cox, who lost to Newsom in the 2018 governor’s race.

If the recall qualifies, Newsom would be forced to fend off rivals in the midst of a pandemic that has cost the state millions of jobs, cored government budgets and upended life for nearly 40 million residents.

He’s also been hit by the fallout from a multibillion-dollar fraud scandal at the state unemployment agency while weathering a public shaming for dining out with friends and lobbyists at an exclusive San Francisco Bay Area restaurant last fall, while telling residents to stay home for safety.

However, recent polling has suggested Newsom would hold his seat, and the sour public mood could shift as more schools and businesses reopen. California also is likely to be the recipient of billions of dollars of federal recovery funds, which Newsom will dispense and could use to his political advantage.

Jenner made headlines in recent years with her ties to former President Donald Trump, who remains broadly unpopular in California outside his GOP base. Trump lost the heavily Democratic state to Joe Biden in November by over 5 million votes.

Jenner supported Trump in 2016 but later criticized his administration’s reversal of a directive on transgender access to public school bathrooms. She also criticized Trump after he said transgender people would not be allowed to serve in the U.S. military.

In a statement, Newsom campaign spokesman Dan Newman said, “We always knew the … recall would be a ludicrous circus full of Trump supporters.”

Kim Kardashian Officially Becomes A Billionaire Like Kanye West: What Put Her Over The Top

Sorry, Kylie Jenner, but it looks like Kim Kardashian is the richest KarJenner sister because the KKW Beauty boss is now a billionaire.

The initials “KKW” now stand for money because Kim Kardashian[1] is officially worth an estimated $ 1 billion, according to Forbes[2]. Kim, 40, finally made it to the magazine’s World’s Billionaires List[3], a decade after being first mentioned in the financial magazine’s pages. So, what finally helped the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star enter this exclusive club? Credit her two booming businesses. According to Forbes, Kim’s wealth rose from $ 780 million in October to $ 1 billion thanks to KKW Beauty and SKIMS, as well as “cash from reality television and endorsement deals, and a number of smaller investments.”

Kim got a huge payday when she sold 20% of KKW Beauty to cosmetics conglomerate Coty for $ 200 million last year. While this deal would value the company at $ 1 billion, Forbes estimates that figure “is a little bloated” due to Coty’s history of overpaying. Still, the magazine estimates that Kim’s remaining stake in KKW is worth about $ 500 million. Kim also owns a majority stake in SKIMS, but the company “hasn’t disclosed its revenues.” However, Forbes estimates that the company is valued at “north of $ 500 million,” which would make Kim’s state “worth a conservative $ 225 million.” Add in all the endorsement deals, investments, and real estate purchases, and Kim’s estimated worth is more than a billion dollars.

Kim Kardashian West out and about in New York City in 2020. A year later, she would be worth an estimated $ 1 billion. (Shutterstock)

Kim’s estranged (and seemingly future ex[4])husband, Kanye West[5], also appeared on Forbes’s World Billionaire List. The 43-year-old rapper is worth an estimated $ 1.8 billion, according to Forbes – who, earlier in the year, disputed[6] the multiple reports that claimed Kanye is the “richest Black person in America” and is worth $ 6.6 billion[7]. Bloomberg reported that Ye’s Yeezy sneaker brand – as well as Yeezy Gap, which Forbes notes “has yet to sell one stitch of clothing” – has a combined value of $ 4.7 billion, and Kanye has “an additional $ 1.7 billion in assets.” Forbes claims their competitor’s assumption was on “projected future earnings,” meaning Kanye could be worth $ 6.6 billion someday.

At the moment, Kanye will have to be happy with his estimated $ 1.8 billion (up from $ 1.3 billion last May.) This wealth putting him at an 86-way-tie at Rank No. 1750 on the World’s Billionaire List (proving that there are way too many billionaires.) Kim Kardashian, with just (just!) one billion, comes in at No. 2674.

Kim is now the richest sister in the KarJenner empire. There was a time when Forbes claimed that Kylie Jenner[8], 23, was the “world’s youngest self-made billionaire[9].” The publication first dubbed her a billionaire[10] in 2019 and again the following year, but a late-April 2020 report accused Kylie and her team of lying about her business to make her look richer than she is. The accusations that the Jenners, and/or their accountants, falsified tax returns and then lied about their 2016 revenues for the last four years, are absolutely false,” Kylie and Kris Jenner[11] said in a statement, and Kylie clapped back on Twitter[12]. “All I see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions, lol. I’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period.” Currently, Forbes estimates Kylie’s net worth at $ 900 million.

UFC supremo Dana White admits defeat in bid

Five months after Khabib Nurmagomedov announced he was stepping away from the octagon, Dana White has finally recognized his UFC retirement in an emotional shared announcement – with a May clash set to decide the new champion.

UFC president White has admitted defeat after his latest meeting with former lightweight king Nurmagomedov, accepting the Russian’s shock retirement which he first declared after putting away Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in October.

Nurmagomedov emotionally revealed in the octagon that he would be stepping away in order to honor a promise he had made to his mother, although he went out in fitting style with a stunning second-round triangle choke submission against the dangerous Gaethje.

Having lost his father, Abdulmanap, to complications arising from Covid-19 last summer, Nurmagomedov opted not to continue without his life-long coach by his side, ending a 29-0 career that saw him talked of as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time .

Still, this hadn’t deterred White from attempting to lure the American Kickboxing Academy star into one last dance, with everything from a superfight with Georges St-Pierre to a scrap with current welterweight ruler Kamaru Usman entertained.

Some five months later, however, with the lightweight division held up in the meantime, White has given up on his quest, taking to social media late on Thursday night to face facts alongside a photo of the pair together.

“29-0 it is,” accepted White. “He is 100 percent officially retired. It was incredible to watch you work. Thank you for everything and enjoy whatever is next, my friend.”

An hour later, Khabib shared the same snap on Instagram with his own message to his former boss and those responsible for his rise to the top.

“It was a good dinner with some great people. [Dana], thank you so much, brother, and the entire UFC team for the opportunity to prove myself. You guys have changed many lives forever because of this sport.

“Dana – I’ll never forget your attitude towards me, my father did not forget and my sons will remember you. Today there was a real conversation between real men.

“Thank you to all my team, sparring partners and all the fans. I hope you will accept my decision and understand me.”

In a fawning appraisal, Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, lauded his fighter’s career and called White “the godfather of MMA” and “big brother”.

“This is the best I have seen between Khabib and Dana,” he said of the meeting. “I have never seen a relationship like this between a fighter and promoter.

“They never argued, they never fought and never complained about each other. Nothing but pure class between the both of them.

“I am a little sad that my brother is leaving the sport, but the Eagle will always sore in the sky. The greatest fighter on the planet.”

Wasting no time, White then revealed to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira will face off for the now-vacant lightweight strap on at UFC 262 on May 15.

“Let’s go!” demanded the Brazilian on Twitter, while his Nashville native foe delivered his trademark exclamation of “see you at the top!”

Having previously trying and failing to convince Khabib to come out of retirement, former Bellator MMA champion Chandler has also talked down Oliveira’s prospects of dominating their weight class.

“The only question I would pose about Charles Oliveira is he’s not a large 155’er,” he told MMA Fighting.

“He’s not a very powerful guy. He’s not a very physically strong guy or overly athletically gifted guy.

“I like Charles Oliveira’s style in the fact that he trots forward, his striking has gotten better, he’s extremely slick with his jiu-jitsu.”

Still, riding an eight-fight winning streak that included Tony Ferguson’s scalp last time out, the São Paulo scrapper will fancy his chances.

With the addition of the Bethesda creative teams, gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players.

As we shared previously, it’s vitally important that Bethesda continues making games the way it always has. We look forward to empowering Bethesda’s creative teams to reach even more players around the world, helping make future Bethesda titles the biggest and most popular games in their history. Xbox and Bethesda have long shared a common vision for the future of gaming. Both as fans and as creators, Bethesda understands the potential of Xbox Game Pass.

We would also like to honor the life and memory of my close friend Robert A. Altman, founder of ZeniMax Media. Robert believed deeply in the power of gaming and we are privileged to be able to continue his work by joining forces with the teams he built and led for many years.  I will miss the opportunity to work directly with him on the future of our combined teams but I know that his spirit will live on in the shared work we do and motivate us to make this partnership all he envisioned.

Thank you to all our players for joining us on this incredible journey and to the millions of Bethesda fans around the world. Now that we’re one team, we can start working together on the future ahead. We will have more to share about what’s next for our teams later this year. In the meantime, to properly celebrate this special moment, we are bringing additional Bethesda games into Xbox Game Pass later this week. Stay tuned for more details!
