Genshin Impact 1.5 Livestream release date news Zhongli Banner Rerun latest

UPDATE: As expected, developers Mihoyo has announced its plans to host a special Genshin Impact 1.5 livestream, which will confirm the release date and character lineup for the new update.

The Genshin Impact 1.5 livestream start time has been set for 11:00 AM (UTC-5) on Friday, April 16. For gamers in the UK, the special program will be viewable on YouTube, and include the full details on what to expect from the game’s next big patch.

The Genshin Impact 1.5 release date is expected to be announced for April 27 on PS4, PC and Mobile.

ORIGINAL: Developers Mihoyo have built a pretty consistent framework around reveals, with the next big one being Genshin Impact 1.5

From various leaks and reports, it appears the next big free update will be released near the end of the current month and will include new characters, housing features and a Zhongli Banner rerun.

And that means an official Genshin Impact 1.5 livestream will need to be held soon to cover all the new content coming to the game.

For now, Mihoyo has not shared its plans for the next Genshin livestream, or when they will be launching the game’s major patch.

But gamers are expecting news to be shared very soon on what is being planned for Genshin Impact 1.5.

WHEN IS THE GENSHIN IMPACT 1.5 LIVESTREAM?

Developers Mihoyo has not announced its full plans for the release date of Genshin Impact 1.5.

But based on the latest reports that Genshin 1.5 will be launching on April 27, gamers are expecting a reveal very soon.

So for now, our best predictions are that the Genshin Impact 1.5 livestream will be held on Saturday, April 17.

And if this is going to be the decided format, we would expect an announcement confirming this in the coming days.

If no announcement is made, we would expect a livestream to be held by, or on, Friday, April 23.

This would give Mihoyo enough time to reveal all their plans and give gamers something to look forward to for the end of April.

The new Archon Quest “Chapter I: Act IV – We Will Be Reunited is now in Genshin Impact, with Mihoyo telling fans this week:

“You hear from Ganyu and Lan that the Treasure Hoarders of Mondstadt and Liyue have banded together and plan to get involved in some ruins associated with the Abyss Order. Fearing the chaos that the Treasure Hoarders might cause through their involvement, you take up the commission and investigate…

“After reaching the required Adventure Rank and completing the prerequisite quests, Travelers will find “Chapter I: Act IV – We Will Be Reunited” under Archon Quests in the Quest Menu.

“Once the quest system has been unlocked, Travelers may open the Quest Menu by pressing (PC), tapping the quest icon in the top-left corner (mobile), or holding the L1 button and selecting the quest icon from the Shortcut Wheel (PS4).”

Genshin Impact 1.5 is rumoured to include a Zhongli Banner Rerun, as well as at least one new five-character.

Genshin Impact Childe Banner Rerun and Rosaria release time update

Developers Mihoyo has confirmed its plans to launch the Genshin Impact Childe Rerun this week as part of its ongoing support plans for 1.4.

The good news is that gamers won’t be waiting long to try and pull the character again, with the current Venti event set to wind down over the next 24-hours.

The Childe Banner will be part of the Farewell of Snezhnaya event wish, with a busy week being planned by the Genshin support team.

Not only will Childe be back in the mix, but there will also be a new lineup of four-star characters to try and unlock.

Rosaria will be making her debut as part of the Banner, complete with launch time and end date.

Fans have been learning more about the Cryo, including her full backstory and skill set.

And with the latest news being shared by Mihoyo today, we also have a pretty good idea when to expect everything to kick off over the coming week.

WHEN DOES THE GENSHIN IMPACT CHILDE BANNER RERUN START?

Developers Mihoyo has confirmed that the Genshin Impact Childe Banner Rerun has a scheduled release date on Tuesday, April 6.

This will be a unified launch across all platforms, meaning PS4, PC and Mobile gamers should get access to the event at the same time.

Mihoyo has also confirmed that the new Genshin character Rosaria will also be making her debut as part of the Childe event.

And according to the latest schedule released by Mihoyo, the Childe Banner release time has been set for 6pm server time.

“During this wish event, the event-exclusive 5-star character “Childe” Tartaglia (Hydro) will get a huge drop-rate boost.

“After this wish event ends, the 4-star character “Thorny Benevolence” Rosaria (Cryo) will be added to the Standard Wish “Wanderlust Invocation” in Version 1.5. Of the above characters, the event-exclusive character will not be added to the Standard Wish.”

The new and returning characters of Childe, Rosaria, Barbara, and Fischl will be the main draw, but Mihoyo has also confirmed that there will be more weapons to check out too.

Five-star weapons like the Skyward Harp (Bow) and Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (Catalyst) will be easier to unlock, alongside the exclusive 4-star weapon Alley Hunter (Bow) and the 4-star weapons Favonius Sword (Sword), Sacrificial Greatsword (Claymore), Favonius Codex (Catalyst), and Favonius Lance (Polearm).

Mihoyo has also revealed that this latest Banner event will be coming to an end on April 27 at the earlier 3pm server time.

Genshin Impact Childe Banner rerun includes Rosaria release date

Gamers eager to expand their character list will soon have the chance with the launch of the Genshin Impact Childe Banner.

Confirmed as launching next week, the new Farewell of Snezhnaya event wish will include boosted drop rates and other bonuses.

The big headliner will be the Childe Banner rerun but there will also be boosted rate drops for weapons too.

Mihoyo has confirmed that during this event wish, the 5-star weapons Skyward Harp (Bow) and Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (Catalyst) will be easier to unlock, alongside the exclusive 4-star weapon Alley Hunter (Bow) and the 4-star weapons Favonius Sword (Sword), Sacrificial Greatsword (Claymore), Favonius Codex (Catalyst), and Favonius Lance (Polearm).

It all makes for a tasty combo for gamers to enjoy across PS4, PC and Mobile, and it won’t be the only thing drawing fans in.

That’s because next week will also see the release date of Rosaria, a new four-star character that will be part of the Childe Banner.

WHEN DOES THE GENSHIN IMPACT CHILDE BANNER START?

According to Mihoyo, the Genshin Impact Childe Banner has a release date scheduled for Tuesday, April 3 (April 4 for some players due to timezones).

The event includes Rosaria, so gamers can also expect the new Cryo character to be made available on the same day.

A message from Mihoyo adds: “ During this event, the 4-star characters “Thorny Benevolence” Rosaria (Cryo), “Shining Idol” Barbara (Hydro), and “Prinzessin der Verurteilung!” Fischl (Electro) will get a huge drop-rate boost!

And these most recent leaks are not being taken lightly by developers MiHoYo, who released a statement regarding how disruptive they can be, telling gamers:

“Recently, we discovered the dissemination of leaked version 1.5. content.

“Such behaviour not only disrupts our plans to develop and promote the new version but also causes some Travelers to have misconceptions about the content of the new version.

“Here, we kindly ask for the support and help of all Travelers to resist leaks and maintain a fair gaming environment. We will also increase our efforts to deal with such illegal disclosures.”

And with so many new and returning content drops currently scheduled to arrive in Genshin Impact during April 2021, there’s little chance of fans losing interest over the coming weeks.
