Fury as Piers Corbyn protests AGAINST people getting Covid jabs – ‘An object of ridicule'

The conspiracy theorist was photographed outside Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, east London. In one picture, Mr Corbyn can be seen addressing those waiting through a megaphone held by another man.

He has been seen numerous times protesting against the lockdown restrictions and vaccine efficacy since the pandemic began.

A photograph of Mr Corbyn outside the Westfield centre was posted by the Twitter account of Guido Fawkes.

It said: “Piers Corbyn with a megaphone telling people not to get vaccinated, spotted by a co-conspirator today at the mass vaccination centre in Stratford.”

A number of social media users hit out at the activist, accusing him of endangering public safety.

One wrote: “Have a word Jeremy Corbyn. I believe in free speech but this will kill people.”

Another added: “Wasn’t there a law against someone knowingly giving another person AIDS?

“Shouldn’t that cover anti-vax against another deadly disease?

“If not, we need to fix that and make this a serious crime, attempted manslaughter.”

In 2020 he was arrested in two anti-lockdown demonstrations, in Trafalgar Square and Westminster, for breach of Covid regulations.

The Government and medical authorities insist mass vaccination is the best way to preserve public health, and reopen the economy.

Data from Public Health England shows the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine is 92 percent effective at preventing hospitalisation from Covid-19.

Research shows many of those currently dying from the virus are either unvaccinated or have only received one jab.

More than 42 million Britons have received at least one coronavirus vaccine dose.

Over 30 million have had both doses, giving them the maximum possible protection.

Boris Johnson has delayed the end of Covid restrictions in England until July 21, to allow more people to get vaccinated.

Over the past couple of weeks Britain has been fighting a surge in cases of the highly transmissible Delta coronavirus variant.

On Saturday the UK recorded over 10,000 new coronavirus cases for the third day in a row.

The last time this figure was reported was February 22, during the heart of the second wave.

Anyone in England aged 18 or over can now book their jab via the NHS website, or by calling 119.
