Harry Maguire to make England return vs Scotland as Man Utd star finally shakes off injury

Harry Maguire is poised to make a dramatic return against Scotland on Friday night after vowing to play through the pain to deliver Euro 2020 glory for England.

Maguire is still in some discomfort from the ankle ligament damage he sustained on Manchester United duty seven weeks ago but has declared himself ready to go against the Scots in the Euros cross-border clash at Wembley.

“It’s a big game, I’ve done a few sessions now and feel like my fitness is there, so I’m available for the game,” said Maguire.

“I always felt within myself that I would be fit at some part of the group stage. I didn’t know when. We are going well, we are on the right path. Every day I get more confidence and it gets stronger.

“From speaking to players and physios, I’m sure it will be niggling but as long as its stable and the pain is bearable then I’m sure I’ll be fine.

DON’T MISS: Gareth Southgate ready to go route one with England at Euro 2020

“I think throughout a career in football if you didn’t play through pain you would probably spend more time on the sideline than you would on the football pitch.

“I have done it throughout my career and so has everyone else who plays week in, week out.”

It is a huge boost for Gareth Southgate who did not expect to have one of his key leaders available until next week’s game against the Czech Republic at the earliest.

The England manager must now decide whether to parachute Maguire straight into the starting line-up against the Scots or put him on the bench.

“It’s Gareth’s decision but the bottom line for me is that I want this country to win. I want us to win at all costs, whether I’m in the team or I am not in the team,” said Maguire.

“I was watching at my house on Saturday. We had a barbecue and I was jumping up and down like a crazy person when we scored.

“When I came in I just wanted to speak about the game to people. They’ve had enough of it over the last few days. I chewed Kalvin [Phillips]’s ear off and Ben White because I’ve known them for a while.”

The uncapped 23-year-old will be on the bench at Wembley as back-up act to Jordan Pickford and Sam Johnstone.

“It’s England v Scotland at a major tournament at Wembley and I’m going to be involved with three lions on my chest. It doesn’t get much better than that unless you’re starting,” told The Official England Podcast.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do when the anthems play. I will be belting it out. I might cry, I might smile, I couldn’t tell you.”

Doctor issues serious health warning about protein shakes – 'men should be mindful'

For many people, protein shakes are an essential part of the fitness toolkit. That’s because protein is essential for building and maintaining muscle, bone strength, and numerous body functions. Powdered forms of protein are often taken as a pre or post-workout. However, taking protein this way can present hidden health risks.

Undermining sperm production is risky because it makes conceiving harder.

The Mayo Clinic explains: “Too little sperm in an ejaculation might make it more difficult to get pregnant because there are fewer candidates available to fertilise the egg.”

What else should you avoid?

There are other aspects related to working out in the gym that can affect fertility.

“Regular lifting of heavy weights or excessive cycling can affect the total number of sperm, their quality and their shape,” warned Dr Uppal.

Dementia symptoms: Seven memory lapses [ADVICE]
Heart attack: The best cooking oil [TIPS]

As he explained, this is in relation to the heat produced when exercising and the weight exerted onto the testicle during these exercises.

“Men who are trying to conceive should consider either reducing the weight that they lift or the frequency in which they perform this exercise,” advised Dr Uppal.

General tips to keep fertility in working order

Stress is an unavoidable part of life but it is vital to control your stress levels for many reasons.

“Stress releases the cortisol hormone in our body which affects both our physiology and psychology,” explained Dr Uppal.

Dr Uppal explained: “It isn’t uncommon for our emotional health to intertwine with our nutrition.

“A poor diet, overeating or under-eating can always affect your menstrual cycle, cause anaemia, hyperglycaemia (high blood sugar – diabetes and heart disease precursor) and therefore affect fertility.”

Often the emphasis is on being overweight, however excessive weight loss can also cause anovulatory cycles (no ovulation), he explained.

He continued: “Weight gain or loss can also affect one’s self-confidence which can affect physical relationships and libido.”

Fertility is not an exact science and there are many different factors that can affect the reproductive systems in men and women.

“The above influences are not exhaustive and if you are struggling with conceiving or worried about your fertility you should speak to a fertility specialist for more advice,” advised Dr Uppal.

Britney Spears Shakes Her Hips In Nothing But A Sheer ‘Lace & Leather Catsuit’ — Watch

Sheer black catsuits have become Britney Spears’ new favorite wardrobe item. She shimmied along to a Blackpink song in her sexy outfit.

Britney Spears‘ home fashion shows are officially back! After treating fans to a video featuring four fun and sexy wardrobe items on Apr. 7, the 39-year-old is modeling even more fresh looks in an Apr. 19 Instagram and Twitter video. Brit was really feeling herself, as she shimmied and danced along to Blackpink‘s “How You Like That.” Just like in her first video, Britney modeled a sultry sheer black catsuit, but this one came with what appeared to be a black bandeau bra and high waisted underwear underneath.

While the last sheer catsuit had a black leopard print pattern all over it, this one featured more abstract markings, but also had the same long sleeves and dark black neckline. Unlike in the last video where she wore her hair up, Brit let her long blonde locks flow as she again added black high heels to complete the look.

“I found my lace and leather catsuit this time….I’ve never worn it out anywhere cause well….where could I wear it but it’s fun to hang out in,” the singer noted in the caption, as she was standing on the balcony of her Thousand Oaks, CA estate. Brit added “Like I said before …. I’m bored !!!! Here’s to fashion.” In the last video, Britney noted in the caption, “I found my cat suit…No luck finding my mask but at least I found my body.” Britney obviously loves sheer catsuits, as she has at least two in her closet.

Just like in her fashion show video from two weeks ago, Brit would show off and outfit then toss with her arms to the next video and look. She began her Apr. 19 in an adorable yet sexy green mini-dress with red and white floral patterns on it. The frock featured a flirty ruffled hem and an open backside made up of a criss-crossing green string holding the garment together.

Britney then threw to her right and shimmied in the sexy catsuit. After showing off that look she tossed to video of her wearing a bright yellow bikini and looking absolutely fit and fabulous, not to mention so beach ready. Her final outfit was a knockout, even if she only showed it from behind. Britney could be seen in a tight black miniskirt, fuzzy pink sort sleeved jacket and white thigh-high stockings.

Fans went wild for the video, noting how she seemed so much more like her former playful self, not to mention going crazy that Britney is a fan of K-Pop’s superstar girl group Blackpink. Follower @j.aaronxo cheered, “SHE LOOKS BETTER” while @demiismywife commented, “she look so happy now, i’m glad to see that.” Fan houseofhoods observed, “Something has shifted. In a good way. Totally different vibe here and I’m here for it. You seem like YOU again.”

Other followers cheered on the “Toxic” singer’s good taste in music. Fan @jayyyjaegseun gushed, “OMG!!!!!!!! BRITNEY YOU STAN BLACKPINK!?!?! ICONIC” while dejaajones excitedly wrote, “USING A BLACKPINK SONG AHHH.” User @visionofcamila made the wish “Collab with BLACKPINK!” Well, Selena Gomez has already done a collab with Blackpink on the hit “Ice Cream,” so if Britney decides to inch back into finally making music again, a project with Blackpink would be an amazing place to start.

Revealing Meghan and Harry interview shakes UK royal family

The couple gave a deeply unflattering depiction of life inside the royal household, depicting a cold, uncaring institution that they had to flee to save their lives.

LONDON, UK — Britain and its royal family absorbed the tremors Monday from a sensational television interview by Prince Harry and Meghan, in which the couple said they encountered racist attitudes and a lack of support that drove the duchess to thoughts of suicide.
In a two-hour soul-baring interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple painted a deeply unflattering picture of life inside the royal household, depicting a cold, uncaring institution that they had to flee to save their lives.
Meghan told Winfrey that at one point “I just didn’t want to be alive anymore” and had uncontrollable suicidal thoughts. She said she sought help through the palace’s human resources department, but was told there was nothing they could do.
Meghan, 39, admitted that she was naive at the start of her relationship with Harry and unprepared for the strictures of royal life.
The former television star, who identifies as biracial, described that when she was pregnant with son Archie, there were “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”
Harry confirmed the conversation, saying: “I was a bit shocked.” He said he would not reveal who made the comment.

The pair, known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, announced they were quitting royal duties last year, citing what they said were the unbearable intrusions and racist attitudes of the British media. That split became official earlier this year, and the interview was widely seen as their first opportunity to explain their decision.
The implications for the interview — which was broadcast Sunday night in the United States and will air in Britain on Monday night — are only beginning to be understood. Emily Nash, royal editor at Hello! Magazine, said the revelations had left her and many other viewers “shell-shocked.”
“I don’t see how the palace can ignore these allegations, they’re incredibly serious,” she said. “You have the racism allegations. Then you also have the claim that Megan was not supported, and she sought help even from the HR team within the household and was told that she couldn’t seek help.”
Anti-monarchy group Republic said the interview gave a clearer picture of what the royal family is like — and it’s not pretty.
“Whether for the sake of Britain or for the sake of the younger royals this rotten institution needs to go,’’ Graham Smith of the campaign group said. “Some people will say ‘well you would say that,’ but this interview has only served to highlight what a lot of people have known for years: The monarchy is rotten to the core and does not reflect British values.″
Harry, born a royal prince, described how his wife’s experience had helped him realize how he and he rest of the family were stuck in an oppressive institution.
“I was trapped, but I didn’t know I was trapped,” Harry said. “My father and my brother, they are trapped.”
Meghan, he said, “saved me.”
The younger royals — including Harry, Meghan, Harry’s brother, Prince William, and William’s wife, Catherine — have made campaigning for support and awareness around mental health one of their priorities. But Harry described a royal family completely unable to offer that support to its own members.
“For the family, they very much have this mentality of ‘This is just how it is, this is how it’s meant to be, you can’t change it, we’ve all been through it,’” Harry said.

The couple had faced severe criticism in the United Kingdom during the run-up to the interview. Prince Philip, Harry’s 99-year-old grandfather, is in a London hospital after recovering from a heart procedure, and critics saw the decision to go forward as being a burden on the queen — even though, CBS, rather than Harry and Meghan, dictated the timing of the broadcast.
In the United States, sympathy for the couple poured in after the interview. It will be shown later Monday in Britain, where some see Meghan and Harry as a couple who put personal happiness ahead of public duty.
Tennis star Serena Williams, a friend who attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding, said on Twitter that the duchess’s words “illustrate the pain and cruelty she’s experienced.”
“The mental health consequences of systemic oppression and victimization are devastating, isolating and all too often lethal,” Williams added.
Meghan — then known as Meghan Markle, who had starred on the American TV legal drama “Suits” — married Harry, a grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, at Windsor Castle in May 2018. Their son, Archie, was born the following year.
Holding hands, Harry and Meghan sat opposite Winfrey while she questioned them in a lush garden setting. The couple lives in Montecito, California, where they are Winfrey’s neighbors.
Harry said he had lived in fear of a repeat of the fate of his mother, Princess Diana, who was covered constantly by the press and died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 while being pursued by paparazzi.

“What I was seeing was history repeating itself, but definitely far more dangerous — because then you add race in, and you add social media in,” Harry said.
Both Meghan and Harry praised the support they had received from Queen Elizabeth II, Harry’s grandmother.
“The queen has always been wonderful to me,” Meghan said.
But Harry revealed he currently has a poor relationship with his brother, William, and said things got so bad with his father that at one point Prince Charles stopped taking his calls.
“There is a lot to work through there,” Harry said about his relationship with his father. “I feel really let down. He’s been through something similar. He knows what pain feels like. And Archie is his grandson. I will always love him, but there is a lot of hurt that has happened.”
In a rare positive moment in the interview, Harry and Meghan revealed their second child, due in the summer, would be a girl.
