Dave and Shirley first made their Gogglebox debut in 2015 and have become a firm favourite among viewers.
The couple, who reside in Caerphilly, in the South Wales valley, have been married for 45 years.
Both aged in their 60s, the couple were fans of the show before a casting agent snapped them up for the series.
Their beloved pet dog Bluebell often features on their social media feeds, and they share two adult children together.

“You have helped so many people over the years and never expected anything in return.
“I hope you know in your heart how much you are loved by me. Simply the best. Love you mum. To all mums out there have a beautiful day,” she added.
Shirley’s dad left when she was just two years old, and she was raised by her mum and late brother David in Merseyside.
The star reconnected with Andrew following the death of David, who took his own life aged 44, in 2003.
She told Radio Times: “My dad wasn’t part of my life until David died, when we grew closer. Now I love him to bits.”
While many fans paid homage to Shirley and her life’s work in the comments section, others felt the need to defend Piers after he came under fire from “trouble-makers” wanting to “cause a scene”, making it clear it wasn’t the time nor the place for such comments.
One retorted: “So she was everything you are not,” as someone else hit back: “Such a lovely chap aren’t you.”
The troll replied: “Unlike Morgan,” with the fan further defending the presenter: “And yet, here you are on his Twitter.”
A second disgruntled user used the same analogy, snapping: “Yes she was a wonderful character but not you Piers.”
