PS5 UK stock news: Dates and times for Smyths and Very restock this week

This turned out to be the case, with John Lewis releasing more PS5 stock to buy on Tuesday July 13.

These predictions were given at the start of the week, with @PS5UKStock saying it was based on previous stock drop patterns.

The account tweeted: “These are predictions based on drop patterns and knowledge of retailers. Don’t expect much from ASDA and John Lewis.”

The @PS5UKStock also said Amazon are expected to get more PS5 stock, on either Tuesday July 13 and July 14 between 8am and 10am.

Amazon unlike other retailers only sells the PS5 Disc and PS5 Digital consoles as standalone purchases.

According to the ever-reliable PS5 UK Stock account, the restocks are likely to start at Very and GAME, where the PS5 is expected to be available from July 6 at 9am BST.

The popular stock checker account recommends visiting GAME in person, where you can potentially be added to the pre-order list.

Elsewhere, Smyths could restock the PS5 between July 7 and July 9, typically early in the morning. Other possibilities are said to include ASDA, Studio and ACE.

PS5 Stock update: New GAME UK and Smyths PlayStation 5 restock dates

New predictions have been made regarding the next big PS5 stock drop in the UK from leading retailers.

From what has been shared so far, GAME could be the next store to offer a digital PS5 restock.

And there are also reports from PS5 Instant over on Twitter that claim GAME will be joined by Smyths Toys.

We only have a series of dates right now for when these drops might happen, but this could be whittled down and become much clearer as we get closer to the retail events.

And for those wondering, July 6 is the earliest date we could see PS5 stock appear online again.

The GAME UK release is expected to happen between July 6 and July 15, meaning that the PS5 stock update could happen over the next ten days.

That leaves a lot of dates for fans to cover and means these latest predictions should be taken with a big pinch of salt.

The dates for the Smyths restock are narrower and could happen between July 9 and July 16, according to PS5 Instant.

The GAME PS5 restock is expected to happen in the morning between 9am BST and 11am BST, like earlier stock drops from the retailer.

Meanwhile, Smyths Toys could release their latest console shipment between 8am BST and 1pm BST.

Amazon UK has also been linked with a new shipment of PS5 consoles that will be available to buy during July 2021.

However, while GAME and Smyths could drop their stock this week, Amazon isn’t expected to do the same until at least around July 14.

And even then, there’s a good chance that fans will have to wait a little longer to have a chance at buying a next-gen console.

Gamers should also note that smaller restocks have been happening in-store at some locations.

This started in June and included restocks at Currys, Argos and GAME, with more expected to follow.

These are some of the latest updates from PS5 Instant regarding the next major PlayStation stock drops in July:

“Next Amazon PS5 shipment is expected between 13-21st July- big shipment. EXCLUSIVE: Smyth PS5 Restock arriving 9-16th July (8-1pm).

“GAME 6-15th July (9-11am) as we previously posted. Most likely 6-8th.”

Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles its shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out. More stock is expected during July.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. The next PS5 stock update is expected to start in early July.

PS5 UK restock live updates: Amazon, ASDA, Very, GAME, Tesco, Smyths, Scan stock drops

PlayStation 5 restocks are live across the board in the UK this week.

The PS5 is in stock at GAME, where customers can actually purchase the console in store ready for a June 25 delivery. You should phone your local branch for availability, and to put your name down for future stock drops.

More stock drops have taken place today, as ASDA and Very both restock the popular PlayStation 5 console.

ASDA has actually been in and out of stock all morning, so it’s worth checking the website for potential bundles.

Likewise, Argos has started selling PS5 consoles on eBay, so it’s a good idea to check out the auction site instead of the website.

There are also rumours of a potential restock on the Argos website this week, following last week’s in-store update.

According to PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates, fans can expect stock drops at Amazon, Scan and Smyths before the end of the week.

Tesco, on the other hand, is likely to restock the PlayStation 5 before the end of June, potentially at some point this week.

If you’re looking for some cheap PlayStation 5 games to enjoy with your newly purchased console, it’s worth visiting Amazon today.

As part of Amazon Prime Day, the online retailer has discounted some hugely popular PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch games.

The PS5 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is down to just £29.99 as part of the Prime Day promotion.

Likewise, fellow Ubisoft release Immortals Fenix Rising is reduced to £21.49, while Watch Dogs Legion costs £21.99.

Amazon Prime Day – which confusingly lasts for two days – ends at midnight tonight, so you’d better hurry if you want to grab those deals.

PS5 stock UK: Game restock ends – New dates for Argos, Gamebyte and Smyths

This week has been thin on consoles to buy, but we have had two PS5 restocks from GAME and Very.

And the good news is that more are on the way, some of which will only be open to those who sign up with an email address.

The latest PS5 stock update for the UK comes from Gamebyte, who have confirmed that they will be releasing more PS5 consoles very soon.

Gamebyte has confirmed that its next PS5 stock will be limited and will be arriving soon.

However, unlike other retailers, Gamebyte asks interested parties to sign up using an email to help avoid bots and scalpers.

In a bid to protect genuine gamers and combat bots, Gamebyte will be sending out the link to purchase to those registered to GameByte’s mailing list.

The signup details can be found here.

Gamebyte has only listed the Disc version of the PlayStation 5 console and those who are lucky enough to get one will be limited to just one purchase.

A message on the site adds: “We know it’s been a while since we had a PS5 update. So, we’ll get straight to it.

“We’ll have a limited number of bundles for the disc version of the PS5 available very soon! These will be available to the community exclusively through email.

“All you need to do to be notified is sign-up using the form below. Please note: These will be available to UK residents only & are limited to one per-person.”

Based on the wording of the new announcement, the next PS5 stock from Gamebyte looks scheduled for later this week (June 10 June 11).

Other retailers will be offering stock over the coming days and weeks, including ASDA, John Lewis, AO and ShopTo.

These are some of the retailers which could drop more stock this week, while others are planning for further out.

Smyths Toys has been linked to a PS5 stock drop during mid-June, which could mean next week.

Meanwhile, Argos is expected to get its next big shipment before the end of the month, although no solid date has been confirmed.

Argos is expected to offer its latest shipment in the final weeks of the year, possibly starting on June 17.

Currys is another retailer which could offer a stock drop in June but this is expected to be much smaller in size when compared to previous events.

Knowing when a stock drop is about to happen is very important but it’s also worth knowing more about the site you’re going to try and use.

Here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out. More stock is expected before June 10.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos is not expected to receive any more stock until later in June.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. GAME is expected to restock the PlayStation 5 in the next seven days.

PS5 UK restock dates: GAME, Argos, Smyths, Very, John Lewis June stock drops

PS5 UK RESTOCK DATES – FROM @PS5STOCKALERTUK

In its latest update the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account revealed when the GAME PS5 restock could be.

The account said GAME could be releasing more PS5 stock on June 8 or 9. This stock drop would be the delayed June 3 restock.

The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “Update: GAME, the gaming retailer was originally set to drop #PS5 bundles on Thursday (9-10am) however, due to already existing PS5 and Series X orders being packed/fulfilled, they had to delay the drop. We expect GAME to drop either 8th or 9th June.”

The account also previously gave some “expected” PS5 restock dates for June.

However, the caveat is these dates are “calculated based on previous restock patterns alongside some insider information”.

The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account warned these “dates could change as we get closer to the restocks”.

Here are the “expected restock dates”…

PS5 Stock UK: Earliest Amazon, Argos, Smyths, GAME PlayStation 5 restock dates

June is set to be another good month for gamers looking to pick up PS5 stock, with a number of leading UK retailers linked to big PlayStation 5 shipments.

The latest reports have revealed that there will be PS5 restocks at Amazon, Argos, Smyths, GAME and John Lewis.

Other smaller retailers have also been put down on the June restock list, including ShopTo, Scan, Studio and Very.

And the good news is that this week should see at least one big PS5 stock shipment for console hunters to try their luck with.

May saw several big shipments from GAME and Amazon UK, although no UK retailers could keep up with demand.

Based on the latest reports, an Amazon UK PS5 restock is scheduled for between June 1 and June 4.

That’s still quite a wide net for gamers, but it does provide a good idea for what will be happening this week.

And Amazon isn’t expected to be alone, with AO, John Lewis, and Smyths Toys also expected to release PlayStation 5 stock this week.

We don’t have an exact date or time to confirm yet, but there are plenty of reliable stock trackers providing the latest updates.

The PS5 Stock Alert Twitter account provided these latest dates, telling gamers this week: “These dates are calculated based on previous restock patterns alongside some insider information, so, dates could change as we get closer to the restocks.

“Once we know a change has taken place, we will tweet it out. In conclusion, these dates are not a guarantee.”

With that disclaimer in mind, there still should be at least one PS5 restock this week, dropping before June 5.

Smyths Toys is known for releasing PlayStation stock on Fridays, meaning that June 4 is a good shout.

The official Smyths website confirms that PlayStation 5 disc consoles will be available again in June, although no further information has been shared on what date this new restock will start.

Other big retailers are also dropping stock during June but won’t be doing it this week.

Argos has become a major supplier of next-gen consoles in 2021 and will be offering its next big drop in the coming weeks.

From what has been shared so far, the next Argos PS5 stock drop will happen around June 22.

Meanwhile, GAME UK is another major retailer reportedly dropping thousands of more consoles next month, predicted to arrive on its website on June 10.

As ever, none of this information comes from official sources and means that everything needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Finding out that more PlayStation stock is coming is important, but console hunters should also know the best ways to get stock from each platform.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. GAME recently restocked the PS5 and is now out of stock again.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos is not expected to receive any more stock until later in June.

CURRYS: Currys have not been sharing a lot of stock during May but has been supplying consoles via a new system. This includes signing up for the Currys VIP Pass, which means heading over to the website and using an email address. If you do this, you have a chance of buying a PS5 console from a store, within a 72-hour window.

PS5 UK stock LIVE: Very, EE, BT, Smyths, Tesco, GAME and Argos PlayStation 5 restocks

UPDATE 2: The PS5 is back in stock at ASDA and Studio, it has been confirmed.

The two surprise stock drops are likely to be followed by a much bigger restock at UK retailer Very.

GAME, meanwhile, is now confirmed to drop next week, most likely on the morning of June 3.

“Exclusive: GAME will drop next week,” reads a PS5 UK Stock tweet. “They have just updated their listings to deliver the next drop by 8th June. Suggests a drop date of 1-3 June. Most likely to be Wednesday 3rd.”

UPDATE: PS5 consoles will reportedly be back in stock at GAME next week.

Following this week’s Very, EE/BT and Tesco restocks, GAME is said to be getting a massive shipment of consoles for the week beginning May 31.

That’s according to a PS5 Stock UK tweet: “GAME have received new shipments for the PlayStation 5, an all new high, at 15K stock. The retailer plans to have these consoles available to pre-order next week (25th-27th). If plans change, we’ll keep you updated as always.”

A follow-up tweet confirmed the correct dates: “The dates are wrong, apologies. The correct dates are 1st-3rd June.”

After a busy few weeks of PlayStation 5 restocks in the UK, May will seemingly end with a bit of a whimper.

While we fully expect PS5 restocks to take place throughout the week, it looks like the major retailers won’t drop PlayStation 5 stock until June.

Fortunately, however, the latest reports suggest that Very will be selling the PS5 this week, alongside EE/BT and Tesco.

“PS5 UPDATE – No drops expected as usual on a Monday, however we are still waiting on Very to drop stock and it should happen any day this week,” reads a PS5 UK Stock Alerts tweet.

“EE and BT are set to drop also for customers only, we will keep you updated as the week progresses.”

Previous reports have also tipped Tesco to release stock in the immediate future, while Smyths could launch within the next week, although early June seems the more likely.

It’s bad news for Argos customers, as all signs point to a late June stock drop for fans living in the UK.

To give yourself the best possible chance of securing a PS5, it’s worth bookmarking some of the more popular stock checker accounts.

Some of the accounts mentioned above have Discord groups for PS5 customers, while some have live streams and alerts on sites like YouTube.

Grab a PlayStation 5 now, and you’ll receive it in time for the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which launches exclusively for PS5 on June 11.

“Ratchet and Clank are back! Help them stop a robotic emperor intent on conquering cross-dimensional worlds, with their own universe next in the firing line,” reads the official description.

“Witness the evolution of the dream team as they’re joined by Rivet – a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension.”

Pre-order the game from the PSN Store and you’ll receive bonus weapons and armour, including the Pixelizer Weapon and Carbonox Armour set.

Built from the ground-up for the PS5, the game utilises all of the PlayStation 5’s best features, such as haptic feedback, 3D audio, and instant loading.

PS5 stock UK: Earliest Very, Argos and Smyths PlayStation 5 restock dates

The latest reports suggest that more PS5 stock drops are being planned for the coming weeks, across May and June.

The current month has already seen several big shipments from GAME and Amazon UK, although no UK retailers can keep up with demand.

And the good news is that there should be at least one more PS5 stock drop during May 2021.

The downside is that this latest PlayStation 5 shipment release does not have a guaranteed date or time.

From what has been shared so far, UK retailer Very will be the next store to offer PS5 stock to buy.

The PS5 Instant Twitter account – a reliable tracker source – has shared new information that suggests Very will be dropping sometime over the next seven days.

This remains unconfirmed and means that there could be last-minute changes or delays to whatever the full schedule is. Without any mention of an early release, PS5 stock could reappear between May 25 and May 31.

Very was expected to offer stock before now but reportedly has had internal issues that have led to delays.

The PS5 Instant page adds: “Very PS5 restock release still before the end of the month, delay due to processing of stock.”

Other UK retailers have linked to possible stock drops, however, these aren’t expected to arrive until June 2021.

These include BT, Argos and Smyths, all of which are expected to offer restocks next month.

The official Smyths website confirms that PlayStation 5 disc consoles will be available again to buy sometime in June. No further information has been shared on what date this new restock will start.

Meanwhile, PS5 Stock Alert UK believes that BT is prepping for a PS5 stock drop during June, telling its followers this week:

“BT/EE’s internal system shows a potential restock of a few thousand PlayStation 5 consoles on the first week of June.

“This could be pushed back or be earlier, so, we highly advise you to sign up to their email interest registry.”

But there’s also bad news for gamers, with Argos not expected to offer more stock until June.

However, there is a discrepancy when Argos will be getting new PS5 consoles to sell, with some stock trackers reporting June 9, with others reporting June 28.

Finding out that more PlayStation stock is coming is important, but console hunters should also know the best ways to get stock from each platform.

Argos is not expected to receive any more stock until June.
