Fall Guys season 4 update PATCH NOTES: New Basketfall mode, Squad Races, Power Trip, MORE

Fall Guys developer Mediatonic has released a brand new update for Season 4.

The Season 4 release date is live on PS5, PS4 and PC, which means new game modes, new gameplay features and a whole host of bug fixes and tweaks.

According to the Fall Guys Season 4 patch notes, headline new features include the Basketfall game mode, which sees teams attempt to dunk as many balls as possible.

That’s on top of other new modes like the team-based Big Shots and Power Trip, the latter of which involves grabbing batteries and painting floors.

New Gauntlet levels – which are usually the best – include Skyline Stumble, Short Circuit, Hoverboard Heroes and Roll On.

In addition to new levels and modes, Mediatonic is also adding all-new team-based round types.

Squad Race tasks players with scoring points for your team by crossing the finish line. The team with the lowest point tally is eliminated.

Then there’s Squad Survival, which is all about staying out of the slime for as long as possible.

Finally, long-time fans will be pleased to hear that daily challenges have been added to the game. The daily challenges will give players the chance to earn rewards such as crown shards.

Solskjaer admits there is an imbalance in his Man Utd squad after FA Cup defeat

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he has an imbalance in his squad after Manchester United[1] were knocked out of the FA Cup.

The Red Devils went out at the quarter-final stage after a 3-1 humbling by Leicester[2] on Sunday.

United were well off the pace at the King Power Stadium against their fellow top four hopefuls.

And as their Wembley dreams were dashed, Solskjaer defended his sides performance, insisting they have been exemplary in a number of important games recently, but there are some squad members who haven’t played enough recently.

“We didn’t have the spark tonight – but it’s understandable,” Solskjaer told BBC Sport. “This team have been fantastic in the last three or four months.

“We played every three days and been on a great run. It just caught up with us, all the games and travels.

“Thursday night in Milan was a big night and took a lot of out of us physically. We didn’t have the extra zip, authority and confidence today.

“We tried to get on the front foot and start well because sometimes you can get that adrenaline boost and confidence if you get a goal and that can carry you over the line.

“We’ve got too many players that have played too many games and too many that haven’t really had much football, Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba and others are trying to get in who haven’t had enough football. We didn’t have enough against a tough team.”

United don’t play now until next month due to the international break, but they have vital games in the Premier League[3] and Europa League awaiting them that Solskjaer is all too aware of.

“We’ve got the Europa League and Premier League to concentrate on,” the Norwegian added.

“Yes we would’ve liked to go to Wembley but now all the focus is on the games we do have.

“We’re in a good position in the league and we want to keep improving, of course Leicester are just behind us so it won’t be easy but we want to keep going and get as far as possible in the Europa as well.”

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno discusses worrying 'bad atmosphere' in Mikel Arteta's squad

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has admitted the team went through a “bad atmosphere” earlier in the season, and conceded that qualifying for the Champions League will be extremely tough.
Arsenal came out 2-1 winners in the north London derby on Sunday to put themselves back within touch of the European spots.

The Gunners are now just seven points behind fifth-placed West Ham, and are in a good position in the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta will see his side face Olympiacos on Thursday night with a 3-1 lead from the first leg and one foot in the quarter finals.

But Leno believes there was a “bad atmosphere” earlier in the season after a poor run of form.

Speaking to German magazine Kicker, the goalkeeper explained that Arsenal were struggling to gain any consistency and were facing issues in the dressing room as a result.

However, Leno believes the team has now turned the corner and are confident ahead of the closing stages of the campaign.

“We were completely lacking the consistency,” the Gunners goalkeeper said.

“In [the] autumn, we had big problems, a bad atmosphere… and we turned the corner.

“Now we’re at least getting a taste of the Europa League again.

“Qualifying for] Champions League will be very, very difficult.”

Leno went on to discuss the importance of Sunday’s win over Spurs, and discussed the potential of making a challenge for the top four.

Arsenal are still tenth in the Premier League table, but are level on points with Aston Villa, the team above them.

They are also just four points behind Tottenham and five behind Everton, and have a real chance of getting into the Europa League spots.

Leno continued: “Hopefully it will increase the level of confidence of the team and the belief that we can play really well against any opponent.

“We can beat big teams as well and just maintain everybody together with a big belief.

“We know we have to put four or five wins together in a row to give ourselves any chance of looking up in the table, but we are ready for a fight.”
