Yesterday’s edition go This Morning saw Alison Hammond reveal she had spotted the former Prime Minister in Westfield shopping centre doing his Christmas shopping when host Eamonn Holmes took a huge swipe at the politician.
The presenter was in Westfield to introduce the jingle jackpot countdown but she became distracted from her task.
Alison explained: “While I go inside and look for someone who just went in, guess who I saw? David Cameron.
“I’m going to ask him if we can get breakfast done as I’m absolutely starving.”
Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford were stunned by Alison’s revelation and asked for clarification.

Eamonn’s comment left viewers in hysterics with many taking to Twitter to comment.
“Ngl, I love it when Eamonn is fierce. “He’s probably buying a copy of his own book as apparently no one else is” #slaygirl #ThisMorning,” one viewer wrote.
Another added: “Eamonn is savage! “He’s probably in buying his book because no one else is buying it” #ThisMorning.”
Earlier this week, Ruth was left red-faced when Vanessa Feltz spoke openly about her sex life.
