If you’re a Three customer then you’ve probably faced a frustrating morning.
The mobile network has been offline for a good part of the day with 4G data and calls both affected.
The gremlins began overnight and there are still thousands of reports suggesting some customers are still struggling to get online.
However, there could be a very simple fix with those still suffering urged to switch off their phone and turn it back on again.
In a statement sent to express.co.uk, a Three spokesperson said: “Following technical difficulties with our services across voice, text and data, some customers will be experiencing an intermittent service.
“Our engineers are working to fix the issue and the service is returning to normal, and we expect it to be resolved over the course of the day.
“We advise our customers to turn their phones off and on or turn airplane mode on and off, which may resolve the issue.
“We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to our customers.”
Although things appear to be getting back to normal there are still some reports suggesting not everyone is getting a full service.
Down Detector, which monitors outages across the globe, is still showing plenty of issues in the UK.
And posting messages on its forum one user said: “Not fully working but some data activity – Waterlooville, Hampshire.”
And another added: “Off and on in Edinburgh my phone, my daughter and my son.”
There are also some who seen to have a mobile signal but not data with one Three customer, in the capital, saying, “I have my signal here in London but no internet still.”
If you are having problems then it’s a good idea to try switching off your phone and then turn it back on again.
We’ll bring you more updates on this outage as soon as we hear more.
