Jadon Sancho latest
Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc appears to have changed his stance on Manchester United target Jadon Sancho.
Zorc spoke confidently in April about how the England international would remain at the Westfalenstadion.
“There is no new status,” Zorc told Sport1. “Currently no club will risk anything by making a big-money move – not even in England.
“I can’t and don’t want to go too far out of the window with forecasts because the situation is changing daily.
“We will see what happens. We have a long-term contract with Jadon Sancho. This will not change now. We are totally relaxed about it.”
However, Zorc’s stance has shifted from “relaxed” to “concerned” in a big hint that something behind the scenes has changed.
“It is clear that we are concerned,” Zorc said last night. “But I don’t want to talk about that now.”
Man Utd table bid
Manchester United have made an offer for Fiorentina forward Federico Chiesa, according to La Nazione.
Jadon Sancho is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target but Borussia Dortmund want a fee in excess of £100m while Aston Villa are demanding £80m for Jack Grealish.
A search has reportedly been launched for cheaper alternatives amid the coronavirus crisis.
It’s claimed the Red Devils tabled a bid of around £45m (€50m) for the Italy international Chiesa.
