Valtteri Bottas 'proud' as Lewis Hamilton edged out for 70th Anniversary Grand Prix pole

“I think the race pace is there. The first job is to get a good start off the line as I had last weekend to go from there.

“Mentality is to try to win. That’s it.”

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo will round off the top five on the starting grid for Sunday’s 70th Anniversary Grand Prix.

Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon and Lando Norris complete the top 10, but there was more woe for four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel.

The Ferrari man will start all the way down in 12th after qualifying in 10th or lower for the fourth time in five races.
