If your current broadband deal has come to an end then now is a good time to shop around.
Virgin Media and BT both have offers available right now which can dramatically cut the cost of getting online.
First up it’s Virgin who has just announced a deal which gives customers up to £150 bill credit when signing up to one of its bundles.
This bonus can be picked up when signing up to the Big Bundle, Bigger Bundle, Bigger Bundle + Sports and the Ultimate Oomph Bundle with prices starting from £33 per month.
Not to be outdone, BT is also dishing out a price cut with its Superfast Fibre Essential package now £27.99 – saving £2
This cheaper option brings average speeds of 36Mbps plus there’s unlimited downloads and BT’s Stay Fast Guarantee.
You can also get something quicker via and BT’s Superfast Fibre (50Mbps) which is now £32.99 – saving £3.
Both of these options also include a year of free Amazon Prime which means you’ll get access to faster shipping from the online retailer plus access to TV and music from its streaming platforms.
These are good offers but there is another option that could drop your monthly bill even further.
The Post Office has just slashed its broadband prices with customers able to join for just £15.90 per month.
There’s also no upfront fee to pay and the downloads are fully unlimited.
That low cost does mean the speeds aren’t that fast with this basic package bringing downloads of 11Mbps to your home.
If that doesn’t sound fast enough then there two more options from the Post Office.
Pay £22.90 (usually £37) and you’ll get 38Mbps broadband or go for £28.90 per month (usually £42) and you’ll get 67Mbps beamed into your living room.
