Holidays may seem like a distant memory at the moment for many would-be travellers as the coronavirus lockdown rages on. As countries shut down their borders and governments urge citizens to stay at home, travel firms and airlines in their masses have been forced to cancel plans.
However, that didn’t stop one travel enthusiast from going to dramatic lengths to indulge in that holiday experience he’s been dreaming about.
The viral video was originally posted to TikTok by Jeroen Gortworst, and then later shared by Instagram account @PassengerShaming, where it has already amassed more than 1,700 comments at the time of writing.
The footage begins looking through what appears to be a plane window, where the wing and engine can be seen.
It then pans back to reveal a ban wearing a baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses, a pair of AirPods in his ears.

Viewers soon realise that all is not as it seems, as the camera pulls back some more giving a clearer image of the scene.
In fact, the window turns out to be a washing machine with an iPad playing footage of an aeroplane view.
The tray table is apparently a folded down box, and the man, dressed in a yellow sweatshirt and black jeans, is sitting on the floor, just a pair of socks on his feet.
In a hilarious video, the prankster managed to momentarily trick his audience, by also revealing the lengths he would go to for a taste of travel freedom right now.
The video is posted alongside the caption: “My current quarantine feels…”
Instagram users have flocked to the comments, revealing they share the same dreams of travel.
One applauded the humour, writing: “This is funny. I can’t wait until it safe to go somewhere!”
Another added: “We can dream, right?”
A third agreed: “Dreaming of our next trip.”
