White Lines: Axel star reveals 'real' reason he thinks character was killed 'He's 100mph!' 1

The first season of the Spain/UK co-production ended ambiguously, as Zoe confronts her traumatic past and Axel’s friend Marcus (Daniel Mays) strikes a new alliance with Ibiza crime boss Andreu Calafat (Pedro Casablanc).

Netflix subscribers were left with plenty of unanswered questions to mill over but no confirmation of a second season.

Thankfully, the series has been sitting at the top of the streaming service’s most popular new shows since it became available on May 15th, so it’s likely the story will continue once lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

During promotion for White Lines, the star behind murder victim Axel, Tom Rhys Harries, who features in the series during flashback sequences, revealed more about his character’s life before falling victim to Ibiza’s criminal underground.
