Wizz Air flights: Airline announces plans to resume flights from Luton Airport NEXT WEEK 1

The budget airline announced that flights will be resumed from Bedfordshire-based Luton Airport on Friday. The airline is the first in Europe to continue its services following the coronavirus outbreak.

“We encourage our customers to watch our new video on how to stay safe when travelling, as well as for more details on our new health and safety measures.”

They also said that cabin crew will have to wear masks and gloves on flights and distribute sanitising wipes to passengers.

Aircrafts will also be disinfected overnight.

Customers will be asked to check in and make any additional payments for baggage online to help reduce human interaction at the airport.

If passengers want to make purchases on board the flight, they will also be “encouraged” to use contactless payment.

The new destinations include popular holiday spots for Britons such as Spain and Portugal.

The destinations are: Budapest in Hungary, Belgrade in Serbia, Bratislava and Kosice in Slovakia, Lisbon in Portugal, Tenerife in Spain’s Canary Islands and Tel Aviv in Israel.

There are also eight locations in Romania which include Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi, Suceava, Targu Mures, Satu Mare and Timisoara.
