Microsoft has announced a new wave of free games fans with an Xbox Live Gold account can enjoy this weekend.

The new Free Play Days launch was confirmed this week and will include three playable Xbox One games. This is on top of the new Games with Gold titles being released next week.

From now until 8am GMT on Monday, June 1, Xbox Live subscribers can download and enjoy Jump Force, Hunt: Showdown, and Stellaris: Console Edition.

Each one brings something different to the gameplay table and all should be easy to install on your Xbox One, regardless of hard drive space.

All three games can be found on the Xbox dashboard and will include the full gaming experience from each title.

This means you will have access to the same modes and servers as those gamers who own the full versions.

While all three games will provide hours of enjoyment, Hunt Showdown is the game that received the most recent update.

The Battle Royale hybrid pits you against other teams of Hunters as you look to slay a monster and collect the bounty.

It’s a great mix of PvP and PvE, and it has also just received cross-play support between PS4 and Xbox One.

A description for each game can be found at the bottom of this article, courtesy of Microsoft.

For those who don’t fancy battling Anime legends, building galactic empires or taking down monsters, June’s Games with Gold selection will be going live very soon.

Microsoft will release the first game on Monday, June 1, following the removal of the Free Play Days games.

  • Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse: Available June 1 to 30 on Xbox One

FREE PLAY DAYS GAMES FOR MAY 28:

Jump Force

Are you ready to go to battle with the most powerful Manga heroes? In Jump Force, create your own character and fight a dangerous threat in the real world with the help of famous allies such as Goku, Naruto, Luffy and many more! Expand your roster even further by downloading new DLC fighters, the latest one being Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia. Start training this weekend during Free Play Days to tackle all the challenges coming your way.

Hunt: Showdown

A survival based, first-person competitive bounty hunting game. Play solo, or in a duo or trio, to track down boss monsters on huge maps, then outgun other players to claim the bounty.

With Xbox’s Free Play Days, experience Hunt’s unique style of gameplay and fight your way through the richly detailed Bayou – and keep an eye out for the limited-time discount in the Microsoft store.

Stellaris: Console Edition

The first grand strategy game on console, Stellaris: Console Edition puts you at the helm of a fledgling space empire as it embarks on a galactic adventure of discovery, diplomacy, and (if it comes to it) destruction.

With the galaxy at your thumbsticks, the destiny of your empire is yours to define. Players who feel that faster than light is more their speed can also pick up the Deluxe Edition, featuring more game-changing content, for 60% off at the Microsoft Store.
