Pakistani model Zara Abid is feared to have died after a Pakistan International Airlines flight crashed, with 107 onboard. Fashion designer Khadijah Shah shared a tribute on her Twitter page. Khadijah Shah The news of the plane crash was confirmed this morning, after more than 100 passengers were travelling from Lahore to Karachi Airport. The Major of Karachi shared: "At the moment we have the view that there will be no survivors from the plane itself but it is not confirmed." Soon after reports emerged that Zara was on board the flight, fashion designer Khadijah Shah wrote on Twitter: "The fashion industry lost Zara Abid in the plane crash today. "She was a wonderful girl, hardworking and professional." Once Khadijah expressed her thoughts, actress Frieha Altaf was one of the many who shared a tribute to Zara. She wrote: "Heart broken about Zara Abid. Just cancelled a shoot for Nomi Ansari for @catwalk_cares show. "Everyone in tears. Prayers for survivors & deceased and waiting for news." Our fashion model Zara Abid on the list of passengers. "I'm devastated. #allahkhair #piaplanecrash." The star also explained how Zara was recently working on a fashion show for clothing brand Sana Safinaz. As she continued to share her condolences to the model, the activist added: "Zara Abid was doing the show for @SanaSafinaz and @catwalk_cares. "Her uncle passed away & she left for Lahore. I'm just sick to my stomach. This is so close to home." She concluded: "Huge tragedy for the Fashion industry. "So many lives lost! Prayers #zaraabid #PIA_Plane_Crashed." Elsewhere, actress Aiman Khan also shared a few words to say goodbye, as she commented: "Zara you were a sweetheart!!! "We will miss you may Allah give you higher place in jannah." Meanwhile, one Twitter user referenced Zara's brother. They said: "Fashion Model #ZaraAbid was also traveling from Lahore to Karachi in the unfortunate plane PIA flight 8303 which crashed near Airport before landing. "Her brother reached the spot of the incident but couldn't find her and he is looking for her in the hospital."
