Aldi, Lidl and Morrisons: Supermarkets with no restrictions on any products revealed

Britons across the UK have been asked by the government to limit how often they shop. Additionally, certain supermarkets are limiting the number of items shoppers and purchase.

What about other supermarkets?

In Tesco there is still a limit of three when it comes to toilet rolls, cleaning products, hand sanitiser, pasta and rice, eggs and baking products.

Sainsbury’s is similarly limiting pasta, UTH milk, some tinned and frozen food and antibacterial products.

Asda is limiting products that are in high demand, although there is no conclusive list of what these might be.

To help amid the outbreak, Morrisons click and collect service will launch in 280 supermarkets by mid-June.

In the statement, Morrisons said: “From a trial of just six stores in March, we will offer click-and-collect pick-up from almost 280 Morrisons stores by mid-June.

“We are confident we can again significantly increase the number of Morrisons.com home delivery slots over the coming weeks.”

The store said it had “more than doubled the number of weekly home delivery slots, well in excess of the 60 percent increase we initially planned for”.
