Eamonn Holmes, 60, revealed that he was experiencing insomnia as he had a “bad feeling” while attempting to sleep during the recent tropical weather in Britain. The This Morning presenter told his 1 million Twitter followers that despite it being 2.51 am he was “done” with sleep for the night.
Might be me done
Eamonn wrote: “2.51 am…..I have a bad feeling that might be me done with sleep for tonight.”
It was not long before some of his fans also shared the same sentiment, as temperatures in the UK reached 36C over the weekend.
One responded: “Wide awake too, although pretty standard for me sadly as I’m a bit of an insomniac. So tired and so hot. 21 degrees still here in Poole! Hope you get back to sleep Eamon.”
Another advised: “Buy an air-con unit, my room is a chilly 18 degrees, bought this 14 years ago for £99, it’s a godsend on these sultry summer nights :).”
