The short 23-second clip has already been upvoted more than 1,700 times since it was shared to a ghost channel on the social media site.
It begins by showing an ordinary garage scene just before midnight.
But suddenly, a long translucent object drifts past the screen. The uploader, BlunderDefect, then slowed down the footage to get a closer look at the caption.
They shared it with the caption: “Saw this on my cam thought it was neat.”
It was not long before dozens of people flocked to the comments section to voice their suggestions of what it could be.
“Amazing find, one of the most legit videos I have seen on here,” one believer said.
Another wrote: “I have seen a ghost – legitimately – and I was with my son who witnessed it as well.
“This figure is very similar to what we saw.”
Others were also convinced, with one person simply saying: “That’s a ghost.”
But, as with all videos claiming to show the paranormal, some offered perhaps more reasonable explanations.
“Could be part of a spider’s web swinging near the camera,” a sceptic suggested.
And some agreed, while adding it may simply have been a bug flying past.
It is not the first time people have taken to Reddit to share their videos of so-called ghosts.
A driver was left petrified after spotting what appeared to be a black figure staring at him in an abandoned school.
